Item #: SCP-5XXX

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: [[to be filled with information later, something to the effect of "keep scp locked in a standard containment locker when not in use for testing"]]

Description: SCP-5XXX-1 is the rule book for a tabletop RPG titled "Songs of Chance and Power" [[placeholder name, probably won't stick with SCP initials]]. The rules found within the book are a mostly a copy of the rules for Pathfinder (colloquially known as DnD 3.75), the the notable difference that spells found in the book include a phrase in Latin that the rules say must be recited in order for the player's character to cast the spell "correctly". The rule book also states that the spell may be cast without reading the phrases in Latin if the players wish.

The anomalous effect of SCP-5XXX-1 manifests when a player's character casts any teleportation spell "correctly". Upon the player saying the phrase in Latin aloud, the targets of the spell manifest in real life.

All characters that would be effected by the spell materialize in the room that the game is being played in, along with all of their equipment and other items. If there is not enough space for the characters to materialize, then they materialize in the nearest location large enough to fit them all. Entities materialized in this way are designated SCP-5XXX-2.
