Special Containment Procedures: object is kept in a mile long room for testing and placed on a pedastool in a glass box next to the door.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a size 9 1/2 L-boot with signs of weather damage and age. the brand of the boot is ██████████████. a patch of moss is growing on the right side of the toe but has no signs of dieing to improper watering and sunlight. The object smells faintly of mildew and an odd foot smell.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was found in ██████████, ██, ███ at an auction event of strange and puculiar objects. SCP-XXXX was quickly bought once its effects were proven to be true and later contained on ██/██/████ at █████.
the ¨Hikers Boot¨, as it was nicknamed by Foundation staff, was put in containment in a temportary room until itś current placement was constructed. When tested by ██████████ the object was proven to move the subject exsactly 1 mile ahead with a singlular step forward. Testing was haulted due to the subject taking a step back and was later having to dig out his corpse of the facility wall.
