Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 20 by 20 meter steel cell. There will be checks for any type of damage to the containment cell occasionally. One fallen redwood tree cut to fit inside, is provided for the containment cell. There is to be 1 surveillance camera placed in each corner of SCP-XXXX’s containment cell, and is to be monitored in case of strange behavior during a testing procedure. Two guards will guard the entrance and take 6 hour shifts.

Unauthorized personnel are strictly forbidden anywhere within 50 meters near SCP-XXXX’s containment cell. If anyone is to be brought near or into SCP-XXXX’s containment cell, it must be approved by Dr. ███, or Dr. █████.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid ape like creature measuring approximately 3.72 meters in height. The creature appears to resemble the shape of an ape with no flesh, skin, or hair. SCP-XXXX’s body is mostly composed of wood and stone, with little moss on the surface. SCP-XXXX has a human like nose, assumed to be made of stone with a darker or blacker color, different from the other rocks on SCP-XXXX’s body. SCP-XXXX will usually cling to fallen trees, facing its backside to the tree.

SCP-XXXX will become extremely aggressive if physically touched anywhere on it's black nose. If SCP-XXXX is touched on it's nose, it will detach from it's tree, and grab the victim by a limb. SCP-XXXX will then continue to violently bash the victim on the floor until the victim is deceased.

Anyone who touches SCP-XXXX’s nose will be classified as SCP-XXXX-1. When SCP-XXXX-1 touches SCP-XXXX's nose, SCP-XXXX will begin to hunt down SCP-XXXX-1 if avoided. It will only stop upon reaching and killing SCP-XXXX-1, or upon SCP-XXXX-1's death.

The Déjà Vu Affect: Some victims of SCP-XXXX will experience déjà vu or dreams of the future day that they would encounter SCP-XXXX, following the event of their death. Anyone who experiences déjà vu involving SCP-XXXX will be classified as SCP-XXXX-2. Any living SCP-XXXX-2, is destined to be killed by encountering and touching SCP-XXXX's nose, unless the affect is interrupted by the following SCP-XXXX-2's termination.

The affect is random and usually involves when someone is going to encounter SCP-XXXX. Most D Class Personnel testing with SCP-XXXX will be able to recognize SCP-XXXX due to dream encounters.

Containment and Discovery:SCP-XXXX was discovered in ████████ California in [DATA EXPUNGED] near a redwood forest. Missing victim [DATA EXPUNGED] has been found dead near SCP-XXXX’s redwood tree. A MTF team was dispatched near SCP-XXXX’s location. SCP-XXXX made no efforts to resist capture, as it stood completely still.

SCP-XXXX was loaded on to the team's helicopter, and dispatched from the area. During the flight, Agent ██████, and ████ acted very nervous and went through some catatonic stages. Agent ████ shouted things like "It's going to to kill me!". Shortly after, Agent ██████ without warning rushed to approach SCP-XXXX and touched it's nose, causing SCP-XXXX to attack. SCP-XXXX caused the helicopter to go down in it's rage, resulting in a loss of three MTF agents. After the transport incident, SCP-XXXX was transported separately in another helicopter.

D-3811 repeatedly smacks SCP-XXXX with the bat

D-4582 walks toward SCP-XXXX

Dr. ███: D-3811, D-4582, try to pull SCP-XXXX out of the tree.

D-4582 and D-3811 grab SCP-XXXX and pull

D-4582 pauses

D-4582: H… Hol… Hold up for a second, I-

Dr. ███ D-4582, help D-3811 pull out SCP-XXXX or you will be terminated.

D-4582 backs away from SCP-XXXX in a fearful expression

D-4582: I… I know that thing, I don't want to be near that thing, no…

Dr. ███: D-4582, this is your last warning.

D-4582: That thing was in my dreams yesterday, it killed me… PLEASE, GET ME OUT OF HERE.

Dr. ███ makes a motion to the guards to pause

Dr. ███: D-4582, describe your dream regarding SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX-2: I TOUCHED ITS NOSE…. IT KILLED ME… I DON'T WANT TO

Dr. ███ exhales and pauses

Dr. ███: D-3811, cut off a sample from SCP-XXXX's body.

D-3811 uses pliers to cut off a piece of wood and moss from SCP-XXXX

SCP-XXXX-2: I don't want to… touch…. stop it, STOP IT!

SCP-XXXX-2 rushes towards SCP-XXXX and touches its nose

Dr. ███: D-4582, did I say you cou…(Interrupted)

SCP-XXXX drops from the tree, and grabs SCP-XXXX-2's leg

D-3811: Holy [DATA REDACTED]

SCP-XXXX swings SCP-XXXX-2 onto the floor, a direct hit to the parietal cranium

Dr. ███: GET THAT [DATA REDACTED] OUT OF THE [DATA REDACTED] CHAMBER, NOW!

Notes: SCP-XXXX is aggressive when its nose is touched, shooting or other physical actions does not enrage it. Shows signs of immense strength. D-4582 claims to have encountered SCP-XXXX before. D-3811 has no claims of encountering SCP-XXXX. D-4582 has been deceased by SCP-XXXX. The samples D-3811 recovered are of no known species of moss, the wood is of no known tree species.

Incident-XXXX-A: Two guards, entered SCP-XXXX containment cell, both touching SCP-XXXX's nose, resulting in their death. Guards are assumed to have been affected by The Déjà Vu Affect. Guards stationed near SCP-XXXX are now to only have 6 hour shifts.

-Incident-XXXX-B

Incident-XXXX-B: Dr. ████████, entered SCP-XXXX containment cell, touching SCP-XXXX's nose, resulting in his death. Notes were found in Dr. ████████'s desk, stating that he recalled researching SCP-XXXX before SCP-XXXX's arrival.

-Incident-XXXX-C

Incident-XXXX-C: Three D Class Personnel, were being used in an experiment regarding SCP-XXX. One D Class touched SCP-XXXX's nose without instruction, resulting in his death. Another D Class attempted to touch SCP-XXXX's nose, but was terminated before further actions. It is now confirmed that The Déjà Vu Affect can be interrupted.

-Incident-XXXX-D

Incident-XXXX-D: A civilian later identified as ███ █████, has been reported walking towards [add later] unarmed. Civilian was taken in, and questioned for his motives. Civilian reported that he was lost and was walking to [add later] to find help. When asked where he was from, he stated that he was from [DATA REDACTED] and has been walking and driving for eleven days. Civilian recalled visiting [add later] last year, with an uneasy feeling. It was then assumed that ███ █████ has fallen into The Déjà Vu Affect. Civilian was given Class C amnestics and transported to [DATA REDACTED}. Two days later, civilian returned still in action with The Déjà Vu Affect. Amnestics show to have no affect on The Déjà Vu Affect. Civilian was terminated due to an attempt to get closer to SCP-XXXX.

Dr. ███: So, we know amnestics don't work, what are we going to do when more civilians from all over the world arrive here? We can't just terminate them.

Dr. █████: Is there any way we could break the affect besides termination? No

Dr. ███ leans back on his chair

Dr. ███: We have wasted several test subjects on SCP-XXXX, as most want to touch it's nose and die. Who knows maybe I will recall having an imaginary friend with a familiar nose.

Dr. █████ sighs

Dr. █████: I really don't know if there is anything we can do.

Dr. ███: Finding a way to block The Déjà Vu Affect is our number one priority, until then innocents are at risk.
