SCP-6850-1

Special Containment Procedures: The building where SCP-6850 is located is to remain locked and closed 24 hours a day. Surveillance and motion detection systems are to be located throughout the compound. Surveillance inside SCP-6850 will be carried out using high resolution video cameras and microphones installed no more than 1 meter from SCP-6850's entrance.

In the event of a containment breach, armed Foundation personnel are to locate the subject and eliminate him within the shortest time possible, the alarm will be raised only until the presence of all subjects within SCP-6850 is confirmed.

Investigation and surveillance personnel have been assigned in the adjacent building to carry out the corresponding protocols. The research staff must maintain cordial communication with the subjects in containment, limited to periods of no more than one hour, with a maximum of 3 times a week. Requests for documentation by subjects must be evaluated and delivered within a period of no more than 72 hours. Such documentation must follow the guidelines established in the document Area-89 Protocols. The Scientific Department staff must request periodic progress and all retrieved documentation must undergo a thorough review. All information and predictions detected within said documents must be reported immediately to the Area-89 Site Director and document Area-89 Protocols must be updated accordingly.

Description: SCP-6850 is the joint designation of 7 subjects classified as SCP-6850-A to SCP-6850-G, as well as the Boardroom where they are being held, designated SCP-6850-1. This meeting room is located on the 6th floor of the building located in [REDACTED], Mexico City, which is kept under the protection of the Foundation. Windows have been coated with black paint on the outside to prevent subjects from being able to see the outside, the entrance to SCP-6850-1 lacks a door.

The subjects have proven to be members of the administrative and operational staff of the company “Point Resource Management ███████ ███████" through personal identification documents and various notarized acts and protocols that certify the constitution of said company name.1 The company is part of the corporate group "Intelligent Design and Creation".2 As of this writing, the subjects have been locked up for the past 20 years.

Any object that is attempted to enter SCP-6850-1 will be immediately disintegrated, for which it has not been possible to access the site for a more detailed analysis or provide sustenance. The only exception being the documentation eventually requested by SCP-8650. It is possible to communicate in an ordinary way with the interior, and to record in audio and video the events that take place in SCP-6850 by means of devices installed just outside the entrance. The mechanism behind this phenomenon is still being studied.

The subjects do not seem to require food or any other sustenance beyond breathing, but they have expressed dissatisfaction due to the lack of food and various supplies, in turn, this deprives them of the need for excretion. They are also incapable of falling asleep or of any form of physical rest. Currently, SCP-6850-A to -G present a picture of acute stress, signs of malnutrition, aggressive behavior in a variable way and problems of temporal perception.

Despite the lack of food and sleep, the subjects continue to age at an ordinary rate, likewise, behavioral analyzes suggest a degradation in their cognitive abilities, possibly caused by the stress generated after this time in containment. They present a picture of acute depression, constantly requesting information regarding their relatives, friends, news and in general, life abroad. On different occasions they have asked the Foundation for help to end their main discussion, to leave or for their immediate elimination.

SCP-6850-A to -G are unable to successfully abandon SCP-6850-1. A high number of escape attempts end in the elimination of the subject through different means, reappearing again in his chair corresponding to the interior of SCP-6850-1 a few seconds later. To date, there have been accidents in the elevator, attacks by wild animals, pipe explosions, dismemberment, skinning, spontaneous combustion, falls from great heights, [DATA EXPUNGED], most of them of anomalous origin and/or nature. Each of these incidents produces the death of the subject who has been described by themselves as "extremely painful" or, "unnecessarily cruel".

However, if the subject manages to evade these incidents or is able to leave the building, its environment will begin to deteriorate through phenomena of anomalous origin, having registered earthquakes, floods, fires, storms, cyclones, coating of [REDACTED], unidentified anomalous entity attacks, or some combination of the above. The affected area where the aforementioned phenomenon occurs will increase with the location of the building as the epicenter.3 To date, SCP-6850-A is the only one that has not made any attempt to abandon SCP-6850-1; he has referred to the behavior of his colleagues as "understandable".

The main activity of the subjects in containment consists of the review and approval of the process of "Liquidation of the company name", all subjects participate actively in said discussion, being SCP-6850-A the leader figure. Subjects interact with arguments and opinions according to the areas to which they are assigned within their organization chart. They employ various means of exposition such as slide presentations or diagrams drawn on the glass; relying mainly on the documentation requested from the Foundation. There have been debates and development of ideas of a financial, administrative, operational, manpower, process optimization, etc. In general, the topics discussed are those that might be found in a similar meeting of a non-anomalous nature. It is known that each agreement or advance in your project affects our reality in different ways, this information is registered in the financial and operational books that the subjects manage. Since the content does not make explicit reference to reality, it is necessary to identify relationships and details that allow the interpretation of the predictions exposed there.

The subjects agree on the priority of reaching a definitive resolution, they are also aware of the amount of time that has been invested in said activity, however, it does not seem out of the ordinary. Most of the subjects have shown their dissatisfaction with the lack of a general agreement, said disagreements have occasionally ended in fights between the subjects, with some casualties in between, reappearing again in their corresponding places. After these events they tend to recover their original discussion in an organized way for varying periods.
