Item #: 3723
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
An area 6.5 miles in diameter around SCP-3723 has been purchased by the foundation, a perimeter of barbed fence surrounds the site, as to prevent civilians from wandering near SCP-3723, Class D personnel are to be sent into the site, accompanied by a researcher carrying a recording device and a 30mL syringe, each time screams are heard within the immediate area in order to calm SCP-3723 and prevent prolonged effects.

Description:
SCP-3723 has the appearance of the severed head of an Asian female (estimated 19-25 years of age) with messy faded purple hair stuck atop a stalagmite within a cave. While the left side of SCP-3723’s face appears as an average human would, the right side bears a wide chasm where a mouth would be reaching from the middle of the face up to where its other ear should be, the chasm features many large, sharp and crooked teeth. Additionally, the right eye appears similar to the chasm, with the exceptions being that it is not as large or wide (being about 1.75 times the size of the right eye), and it contains a glowing point within it.

SCP-3723’s anomalous properties include, being seemingly alive despite decapitation, telepathic capabilities, which can and have been recorded by cameras and microphones as a female voice, a purple blood like fluid flowing from its neck, immediate erasure of memory upon leaving SCP 3723’s residence, and a semi-predictable bi-annual period, in which SCP-3723 screams, seemingly in pain until either approximately 15 hours have passed from the initial start of the episode, or it is offered at least 15 mL of human blood, the screams can be heard anywhere within a 1.5 mile radius and cause nightmares (usually consisting of the full body of SCP-3723) which take a variable mental toll on those who experience them, Prior to the foundations acquisition of the property, several civilians, (in few numbers) had committed suicide, often leaving notes which refer to the victim feeling guilt for some action they considered to be of high importance. Records of SCP-3723's episodes have been recorded for approximately 38 years, earliest records of such an event dating back to 12/25/1980

SCP-3723 has, on several occasions, invited subjects to “just call [it] Kate, Kate Murasakino”. Subjects viewing recordings of their experiences with SCP-3723 remarked that it felt as though they were watching a record of an old friend whom they had long since forgotten (this remark has been made, even when reviewing the footage less than 5 minutes after exposure). Upon inspection of recordings of SCP-3723, it can be clearly determined that the entity is a generally kind and humorous individual which highly aware of their state.

Any attempts to remove SCP-3723 from the stalagmite have resulted in a bite from either the chasm-like mouth or the eye-chasm of SCP-3723, followed by near excessive apologies from the entity.

Investigations as to how SCP-3723 came to its current state have been met with limited success. Evidence gathered from a study of the surrounding area and the information gained from SCP-3723 suggest that the cause of the entities position and appearance could be traced back to a murder by an anomalous object, investigations are currently ongoing in order to discover exactly what the object was.
