Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are to be kept in standard humanoid containment units opposite each other with a door shaped hole between them allowing access to each other and provided with food and water on a daily basis. They are not to leave their containment units except to interact with each other. If a "Coagulate" incident occurs, a senior researcher and two armed onsite security members are to enter SCP-XXXX-2's containment unit and collect the resulting SCP-XXXX in a lead glass vial.
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in lead glass containers of size 50 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm and the amount of SCP-XXXX within any given container should not exceed an effective mass of 1 kilogram. These containers are to be stored within the on-site hazardous substance laboratory which should be sterilized weekly to avoid contamination of any SCP-XXXX. The hazardous substance laboratory is accessible to all senior researchers, each of which can take up to three junior research members into the lab at any one time. Security Guards are to be stationed at all four entrances to the laboratory but under no circumstances should they enter the laboratory itself except by order of site command or higher authority.
Administration of SCP-XXXX to enter SCP-XXXX-3 must be in groups of two or more with two senior researchers minimum. Each Junior researcher must be accompanied by at least two senior researchers who cannot take more than one junior researcher each into SCP-XXXX-3.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous grey substance that does not adhere to established laws of physics. It has displayed the ability to change between a seemingly liquid state of matter and a seemingly solid state of matter instantly, it is able to move through most solid objects without obstruction, a notable exception to this being lead glass and does not appear to be effected by gravity approximately 40% of the time observed. SCP-XXXX also has a cognito-hazardous effect, prolonged exposure inducing headaches and nausea. This can be reversed by extended periods of sleep or sexual intercourse.
SCP-XXXX is the result of intercourse between two anomalous entities, henceforth labelled SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be a dark skinned human male, 1 metre and 94 centimetres tall and approximately 30 years of age. SCP-XXXX-2 appears to be a Caucasian human female , 1 metre and 68 centimetres tall and approximately 25 years of age. Neither SCP-XXXX-1 or SCP-XXXX-2 have exhibited the ability to communicate any known language and past translation attempts have proven fruitless. SCP-XXXX-1 does appear to react to social stimuli in a similar manner to humans, however SCP-XXXX-2 does not. At random intervals that have been observed to be between 10 hours and 23 days, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 will attempt to engage in sexual intercourse in an event known as a "Coagulate" event, with SCP-XXXX-1 approaching SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1 is easily stopped from doing so by physical obstruction with no adverse effects, however it is against protocol to do so without orders from the site command or higher authority. After the "Coagulate" event is completed, SCP-XXXX-2 will begin to produce SCP-XXXX to coat its skin via anomalous means. SCP-XXXX can then be harvested from the skin of SCP-XXXX-2, as SCP-XXXX-2 is passive to the collection. After a "Coagulate" event, SCP-XXXX-1 will disappear from its containment unit any time from five minutes to half an hour after the event's completion, found to be going to SCP-XXXX-3, reappearing within 4 hours of its disappearance.
SCP-XXXX can be administered to a human subject orally, infused in an IV drip, injected via syringe, rectally or allowing it to pass through the subject's skin. Upon administration, the subject will begin to emit a dim, orange light with no adverse effects. after approximately 30 seconds, a doorway with a late victorian era wooden door will manifest in front of the subject, visible only to any human currently administered with SCP-XXXX with others being unable to perceive or interact with the doorway. Entrance into the doorway finds the subject in SCP-XXXX-3
SCP-XXXX-3 is a dimensional anomaly appearing as a courtyard of a Victorian era estate. The area is cut off from the physical world, only accessible via the administration of SCP-XXXX. The surroundings of SCP-XXXX-3 appear to be various Victorian houses with intricate decoration, however they are completely solid and built out of concrete. SCP-XXXX-3's size fluctuates based on the amount of people present, with a minimum size recorded to be 15 metres by 15 metres. A small fountain made of concrete is present at the centre of SCP-XXXX-3 which appears to be defunct as it does not produce fluid. A label under the fountain carved into the concrete reads "Delicate".
SCP-XXXX-3 itself gives off cognito-hazardous effects similar to SCP-XXXX to a lesser degree. Additionally, subjects inside SCP-XXXX-3 are unable to name SCP-XXXX-3 as anything other than "The Delicate Room" through anomalous means. When a subject enters, they enter with every item currently on their person, however all recording equipment that is currently active and recording will stop recording. Recording equipment can be used as normal after the initial entrance and recordings show no abnormalities. Communication with the outside world is cut off as cables are anomalously cut if attached to something that is not on the subject's person when entering and man made long range communications and global positioning is unable to be activated or used. Subjects inside SCP-XXXX-3 can use SCP-XXXX to [REDACTED] resulting in the construction of minor physical anomalies, however only senior researchers should do so.
Test log of SCP-XXXX
Foreword: These tests were conducted following the discovery of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2 and initially before the discovery of SCP-XXXX.
Item: A glass vial containing 200ml of SCP-XXXX
Intent: Heat SCP-XXXX to 50 Degrees Celsius.
Result: SCP-XXXX displaced itself through the glass test tube. SCP-XXXX reached 50 degrees Celsius at the same rate as water increases temperature. No effects of increased temperature recorded.
Notes: It can displace through glass? How are we supposed to- whatever, next test find something that can hold it - Dr Gerias
Item: A lead glass vial containing 200ml of SCP-XXXX
Intent: See if SCP-XXXX will displace through lead glass
Result: SCP-XXXX was left overnight in a lead glass vial. Following 14 hours supervised, SCP-XXXX had not displaced, however was solid and clumped at the bottom.
Notes: Right, back to proper testing. And if it can become a solid, maybe use a container not a vial? - Dr Gerias
Item: A lead glass vial containing 300ml of SCP-XXXX
Intent: Observe exposure of SCP-XXXX to water
Result: Was poured into a lead glass container of three litres of water. SCP-XXXX floated above the water for 5 minutes and 32 seconds before becoming a solid and descending to the centre of the container. It remained here till it was extracted, 15 minutes later.
Item: Two 400ml samples of SCP-XXXX and a lead glass container of dimensions 50 centimetres x 50 centimetres by 50 centimetres
Intent: As SCP-XXXX had never been recovered in a mass exceeding 400ml, discover if it is safe to contain more than 400 milliletres of SCP-XXXX in the same container
Result: The two samples were placed in the container and supervised for 1 hour. Nothing yet that had not yet been described about SCP-XXXX occurred during that time.
Item: Two 800ml samples of SCP-XXXX and a lead glass container of dimensions 50 centimetres x 50 centimetres by 50 centimetres
Intent: Discover if it is safe to contain more than 800 millilitres of SCP-XXXX in the same container
Result: The two samples were placed in the container and supervised for 3 and a half minutes. During this time they began to emit an orange light which increased in intensity. Dr Fuller who was supervising this test experienced the cognito-hazardous effects of SCP-XXXX as if he had been exposed for four hours and the test was terminated by the removal of 800 millilitres of SCP-XXXX.
Notes: Make sure Dr Fuller gets some rest, we'll do some more practical tests for now - Dr Gerias
Item: A 600ml sample of SCP-XXXX
Intent: Discover the effects of exposing SCP-XXXX to a vacuum
Results: The SCP-XXXX sample was placed in a Airlock Vacuum Chamber, which was pressurized and removed of matter except SCP-XXXX over the course of two and a quarter hours. SCP-XXXX then diffused into a gas to take up the entire room and showed no other properties. The chamber was depressurized and air was added back to the chamber, at which point SCP-XXXX became a solid and floated near the left corner before being extracted.
Notes: It occurs to me that its non-toxic, get a D-Class we'll see if it kills him - Dr Benyal
Item: A 300ml sample of SCP-XXXX and a D-Class Personal, D-685-327
Intent: Discover the effects of ingestion of SCP-XXXX by a human subject
Results: D-XXXX-1 ingested the vial of SCP-XXXX after being told it was an experimental hallucinogen. D-XXXX-1 began to emit a dim orange glow with no other effects for 35 seconds. D-XXXX-1 then reported the manifestation of the doorway, after which he was encouraged by Dr Benyal to enter. This resulted in D-XXXX-1 disappearing causing on site panic for 4 hours as communication was attempted to be re-established with the D-Class before he reappeared on the testing room floor. This is known as Incident XXXX-A-1. After D-XXXX-1 woke 11 hours after reappearing, an interview was conducted.
Audio Log from Interview XXXX-1:
Interviewer: Dr Benyal
Interviewed: D-XXXX-1
<Begin Log>
Dr Benyal, Russian accent: D-XXXX-1, during the test conducted yesterday you disappeared for 4 hours after being administered SCP-XXXX, tell us where you went if you are able.
D-XXXX-1, German Accent: Sheesh, my name's Brandon you could say that. Any niceties like "How's your head" or "Do you need medical treatment"?
Dr Benyal: D-XXXX-1 we are not here to record those statements, this is a warning.
D-XXXX-1: Alright alright, uhhh… I was uhhh, I saw the doorway which I told you guys
Dr Benyal: We were unable to see the doorway, what did it look like?
D-XXXX-1: It was old, made out of wood I think? There was a handle and after you told me to go in I pulled the handle and went through… couldn't grip too hard though it was delicate.
Dr Benyal: At which point you disappeared.
D-XXXX-1: It felt weird going through, like I was floating for a second and then I was in the Delicate Room.
Dr Benyal: The "Delicate Room"?
D-XXXX-1: Yeah I uhh D-XXXX-1 shifts slightly in his seat I don't know how but I know that's what it was called. It was an old fashioned courtyard, not even a room really.
Dr Benyal: Continue. Begins taking notes
D-XXXX-1: Now looking slightly uncomfortable Well it was quiet, there wasn't anyone else. It wasn't too big and there were a couple of doors around, but they were all fake doors that didn't open He instinctively moves his hand towards his head, seemingly cradling it.
Dr Benyal: Anything else of note?
D-XXXX-1: Nothing felt right there… it was all too delicate… There was a fountain at the centre, didn't work at all- Ow my head-.
Dr Benyal: D-XXXX-1 do try to focus on the subject at hand.
D-XXXX-1: I'm trying, uhhhh… Oh yeah, after a while I started to get a headache in there and I got really tired. I laid down for a second and then bam I was back in the chamber Now clutching his head with both hands C-Can I get some water?
Dr Benyal: Someone take him to the infirmary, we're done here.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: D-XXXX-1 was taken to the infirmary and slept for 5 hours after being administered painkillers. D-XXXX-1 made a full recovery. Dr Benyal was reportedly in a better mood than usual after the findings. "The Delicate Room" was later given the designation SCP-XXXX-3
Incident Report for Incident XXXX-A-2:
Foreword: After the discovery of SCP-XXXX-3, all researchers were encouraged to explore SCP-XXXX-3 to discover any anomalous properties. Site Command later admitted that they were persuaded by Dr Benyal to lift any restrictions that would have been put in place. 16 days after SCP-XXXX-3 was discovered, Incident XXXX-2 occured.
Report: At 1632 EEST, A Junior Researcher exited SCP-XXXX-3, reappearing in the Testing Chamber. Dr ████ and three On-Site Guards were observing the testing chamber through the reinforced lead glass window in the side. As the Junior Researcher becomes re-acclimatized to normal reality, Dr Benyal materializes behind them. Dr Benyal is coated in SCP-XXXX sprawled across the floor, appearing to be having difficulty breathing. Dr ████ screams and activates the alarm declaring a low level security breach. Dr Benyal later succumbs to asphyxiation. The Junior Researcher was debriefed and revealed that Dr Benyal had spoke to them before his demise as well as handing him two items. Dr Benyal said to the Junior researcher "Read the Notes… Beware the Room…". The first object was a clock that told accurate EEST time, however did not have clockwork internal components. Instead, a set of modified lungs tested to be genetically identical to Dr Benyal's powers the clock anomalously by breathing. This is labelled Item XXXX-1. The second item is a scrawl of notes written in Russian in Dr Benyal's hand, presented below and translated for viewing.
My friends, I am likely not long for this world, as it is when you mess with the ambrosia, so I may come clean. I already knew the things we have discovered together, I'd been waiting for us to discover Nebo, which you know as SCP-XXXX-3, so I could continue my experiments. I planted the tips that led to the discovery of Alus and Zun because I knew what they could do. My mentor and his mentor before him worked tirelessly, but I did what they could not. I sparked the life of the Ambrosia and finally our dreams can come to fruition. I know that you will be deterred by my death, but I beg as my final wish, continue our legacy.
The Fruits of Life come through Effort
Endless 17, Dr Benyal.
Aftermath: Against Dr Benyal's wishes, security on SCP-XXXX-3 has been increased which resulted in the current containment procedures of SCP-XXXX-3

Incident Report for Incident XXXX-B-1 and Incident XXXX-B-2
Foreword: Dr ████, Dr ██████ and Dr Gerias had been spending more time inside SCP-XXXX-3 than outside and using an abnormally high quantity of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2's activity had increased to an all time high which has been theorized to be an act of compensation.
Report for Incident XXXX- B-1: Dr Gerias was recovered from the waking chamber with Rigor Mortis already setting in. Dr ████ appeared within the waking chamber soon afterwards, wrapping their arms around a humanoid figure, henceforth labelled XXXX-11. Dr ██████ followed shortly clutching XXXX-12. XXXX-11 and XXXX-12 are two almost identical human-like objects, however they do not exhibit any signs of life. Their outer layer appears like skin visually, however is more abrasive to the touch despite being made of the same material. They posses eyes which are puss-filled orbits which have no nerve endings. Their internal structure is held together by a flimsy plastic sheet. XXXX-11 and XXXX-12 contain organs that are genetically identical to Dr Gerias though they do not resemble human organs in any shape or form and are filled with a black ooze which exhibits similar cognito-hazardous properties to that of SCP-XXXX but no other anomalous properties. A brain case plastic sheet is present and is anomalously resistant to physical damage.
Due to the nature of the items present and the implications of the attempted creation of human beings, Dr ████ and Dr ██████ were heavily reprimanded by Site command and all activity within SCP-XXXX-3 was ceased to allow further investigation of XXXX-11 and XXXX-12.
Report for Incident XXXX-B-2: An X-Ray was performed on XXXX-11 to see into the plastic brain case. A fully formed brain that was identical in structure to that of a human was found inside through the X-Ray. At this time, SCP-XXXX-1 was seen crying by On-Site Guards and video recording, an activity that has only been observed during this incident. An MRI was performed on XXXX-11 shortly afterwards and despite the lack of life from XXXX-11, brain signal's were observed during the MRI. SCP-XXXX-2 instantaneously manifested at the eastern door on the inside of the hazardous substances laboratory and vocalised in Russian. SCP-XXXX-2 said "Bring our children back to us". When questioned by Dr ████ about what it meant by this, SCP-XXXX-2 became hostile and [REDACTED] showing inhuman physical capabilities and resulting in 7 deaths and 16 injuries before SCP-XXXX-2 approached both XXXX-11 and XXXX-12 and [REDACTED] leaving only a small puddle of SCP-XXXX before returning to a passive state.
Aftermath: SCP-XXXX-2 willingly allowed itself to be restrained and attached to a collar that would deliver 600 volts at the press of a button on a remote. An Interview was then conducted with SCP-XXXX-2 by Site Command.
Audio Log from Interview XXXX-2:
Interviewer: Site Command
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-2
<Begin Log>
Site Command, spoken in russian: Site Command's voice has been digitally and anomalously distorted to hide their Identity SCP-XXXX-2 you are being asked to explain your actions. As we know you are capable of communicating in Russian we will operate under the assumption that you are able to unders-
SCP-XXXX-2: You do not care.
Site Command: Excuse me?
SCP-XXXX-2: You know my true name, yet you talk with designations.
<Site Command motions to Dr ████ who approaches. They talk inaudibly for a few seconds before Dr ████ returns to their position>
Site Command: Zun, you are being asked to explain your actions. Failure to comply will result in the administration of a controlled shock via the collar you are wearing.
SCP-XXXX-2: You took the fruit of our labor. You turned it sour and rotten. We must fix it.
Site Command: Who is the "We"?
SCP-XXXX-2: Mumbles Inaudibly
Site Command: Zun this is a warning.
SCP-XXXX-2: Alus. Zun and Alus belong together, the fruits of our labor spark life. You sparked rotten life SCP-XXXX-2 turns to look at Dr ████ who stares back for a second before shrieking and losing consciousness
<Other researcher's quickly approach Dr ████ and check for signs of life, Site command reaches for the remote that would shock SCP-XXXX-2>
SCP-XXXX-2: She passed out from fear, not my abilities.
<One researcher confirms that Dr ████ is alive and has a quickened pulse. Site Command nods and places the remote back down>
Site Command: Zun. What will you do with XXXX-11 and XXXX-12?
SCP-XXXX-2: Spark life again.
Site Command: Please elaborate
SCP-XXXX-2: I will only say more when none but I and you are within the room and nothing is being written. SCP-XXXX-2 motions to the audio recording device that is recording this Interview
<Site Command motions for a senior researcher to come over. They discuss something inaudibly briefly before the researcher takes the recording device and tells everyone to leave.>
<End Log>
Closing Statement: After the room was evacuated and sealed off, as per Site Command's orders the Senior Researcher put the site into a low level state of emergency until Site command and SCP-XXXX-2 left. SCP-XXXX-2 and Site Command conversed in the room for 6 and a half hours, and when Site Command left, the Senior Researcher noted that they looked "Physically Tormented".
Aftermath: Site activity returned to normal, all personal were told it is strictly against orders to attempt to communicate with SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. Four days after Incident XXXX-B-2, Site command was found dead in their office, having administered an approximated 6 gallons of SCP-XXXX and died while in SCP-XXXX-3. A single note clutched in their hands read in Russian as presented below.
I must find the spark of life
The Fruits of life come from effort.
Endless 18.
