Object Class: Euclid Neutralised

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-██ is to be held inside a 1m x 1m x 1m moveable aviary, with a single perch to sit on. Neither water nor food needs to be provided. The enclosure is to be enveloped with a non-transparent, dark blue cloth at all times and kept inside an empty room with a single camera, facing the back of the cage. Removing the cloth and looking into the entities eyes is strictly forbidden. Only few personnel, having undergone special mental training, is allowed to enter SCP-██'s room, to ensure as little incidents as possible.
The following routine is to be repeated daily, to keep SCP-██ from disappearing:

  • The specimen needs to rolled through the facility, preferably to the infirmary, until it starts moving and faces towards a living organism.
  • This being needs to be placed inside SCP-██'s room with the cage facing towards it, but with the back still towards the camera.
  • The cloth is then to be removed with personnel facing towards the camera.
  • If the chosen organism has looked inside SCP-██'s eyes and has peacefully died within the next 5-7 hours, the procedure has been succesful and SCP-██ will return to it's prior state. The cage is to be cloaked again and all organisms are to be removed from the room.

Description: SCP-██ is an adult raven of average size, with ghostwhite eyes, supposably blind. Though not physically distinguishable from other members of it's kind, the specimen shows no natural behaviour, as it does not consume food nor water and hasn't made a single sound since it's first sighting. Though being in good condition, the specimen weighs only about half of a normal raven it's size. When checked by Dr.█████, research showed that SCP-██ was missing it's skeleton, as well as as inner organs and blood. When trying to take a blood sample, the tube was filled with black thick smoke.

SCP-██ was first sighted inside a hospital in [DATA EXPUNGED]. Personnel claimed, that it would randomly appear on patients laps and stare into their eyes, during which patients would begin to smile and ignore their surroundings, seemingly drugged. Every person visited by SCP-██ has died a peaceful death within [DATA EXPUNGED] hours after their first encounter, even when showing no sign of passing away before. However, when the entity and it's chosen subject are seperated before death occures, the subject will show strong signs of withdrawal and die in vain. SCP-██ will disappear once it has finished it's procedure and search for a new victim about 24 hours later.

The foundation first took notice of SCP-██, after encountering an internet article about the reincarnation of death, residing in [DATA EXPUNGED] hospital in the body of a raven. When Agent █████ and Agent ███ arrived at said place, the entity was already caught by personnel inside a small bird cage, covered with a dark blue blanket. A nurse claimed, that the blanket was consecrated and would keep the specimen inside the bird cage, when given a life every 24 hours. Agent █████ took note of said procedures and SCP-██ was taken in custody, along with the cage and blanket.
