Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4607 is to be contained in a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m x glass pool with removable ceiling, located within Area-██. Level III access is required to test and enter SCP-4607 containment cell and is to be monitored by 1 armed guard.
Any attempts to remove SCP-4607 from its containment cell without approval from Level IV staff will result in immediate termination. All sample's from SCP-4607 muste be taken by a drone.
Description: SCP-4607 is a standart muddy water with brown, bone like sharp spikes only to pop out of the water when any living being gets enaugh. Anly living being that gets close will result in SCP-4607 spiking the living being and dragging it in the water.
SCP-4607 can survive in any water temperature, saltyness and dirtyness and is still able to hunt when water in which its contained is fully frozen. its current strenght is unkown.
If water in which SCP-4607 is located inside contacts bigger form of water, it will adapt to the bigger form of water making it muddy and essentialy spikes will grow bigger and sharper.
Multiple x-ray’s show spider like creature laying in the bottom of the water, what looks like looking like daddy long leg bone structure with uncountable amount of legs which are used as spikes to drag down victims and eating them while they are alive/dead.
Theory by Dr.███ if SCP-4607 contacts ocean waters then XK-Class end of the world scenario could happen. See addendum 4607.4.
Addendum 4607.1: discovery
SCP-4607 was first discovered in a small pond after 2 911 calls by the victims of SCP-4607. Operators thoath those all are young group of teenagers seting a prank until SCP foundation send one agent who went missing. Drone was send out to deal with threath and didnt saw anything suspicios. Multiple other agents were send out , one of the agnets died from SCP-4607 and were evacuated. Small base was created around the pond. Doctor ████ discovered that the SCP-4607 can be safely transprted to a diffrend body of water with just one sample, 05-17 made the decision to transport it to Area-██ and destroy the pond.
Addendum 4607.2: Small water sample from SCP-4607 is taken by D-9579. After 2 minutes SCP-4607-A grew inside the sample of water. D-9579 was forced to pour the sample back in the pool with SCP-4607. SCP-4607-A mysteriosly vanished when poured back with SCP-4607 and is now concidered to be eliminated by SCP-4607.
Addendum 4607.3: 3 cm x 3 cm x 1 dm tube containing SCP-4607-B is poured inside 30 m x 30 m x 3 m x body of water. SCP-4607-B fully adapted to water. D-9585 gets spiked by SCP-4607-B. Pool in which SCP-4607-B is blowed up, terminating SCP-4607-B.
Addendum 4607.4: 3 cm x 3 cm x 1 dm tube containing SCP-4607-C is poured inside 5 dm x 5 dm x 20 m pipe. SCP-4607-C didnt show any activity when introduced to D-9587. X ray scan show SCP-4607-C crushed by water pressure.
Addendum 4607.5: D-9588 who is accused for murdery of 3 people was forced to approach SCP-4607 with ropes attached to him in case when he's injured and needs to be pulled back. D-9588 was stabbed with multiple spikes and roup's weren't strong enaught to pull him back for 3 minutes. Agents recovered D-9588's body, finding 572 stab wounds.
Addendum 4607.6: Sample from SCP-4607 is taken and putten inside a small tank. D-9565 who is accused for torturing local police officer while drunk was forced to approach SCP-4607-D. SCP-4607-D stabbed D-9565's hand 16 times before D-9565 was retreated from SCP-4607-D succsesfuly. SCP-4607-E grew inside D-9565's blood vessels and after 3 minutes SCP-4607-E splitted D-9565, leaving blood puddle in which SCP-4607-E was located. SCP-4607-E was shot by multiple gunshots from Agent █████.
