Special Containment Procedures: SCP-51XX is to be contained in a 3 m x 3 m x 4 m cell constructed of concrete. If the cell happens to appear damaged, all personnel who, at the time are unconscious, should be awakened and all personnel is highly recommended not to sleep in the facility until the cell is fully repaired.
Description: SCP 51XX: is a small white box of unknown origin, which is 3” x 3” x 3” and weighs about 1 lbs. It also has four flat head screws and German writing on the bottom side. The box has been noted to have a sweet, almost citric smell.When subjects are exposed to SCP-51XX, they report to be content with themselves and everyone around them.
When in contact with SCP-51XX, the subject will immediately black out and experience dreams of what is described to be of humanoid creatures (noted as SCP- 51XXa) in black clothes (varying styles and fabrics) with white plaster-like masks with large, circular, black eye holes. It has been noted that SCP-5037a has no visible eyes. SCP-51XXa's mask also has a large, round, cartoon-like smile and nostrils even though it has been noted that SCP-51XXa is not required to breath oxygen in the dreams.
When subjects are pulled back into consciousness, they appear to be in slight distress and believe that they are still in their dream. When subjects are proven to have left the dream, they are distrustful of white box regardless of the origin or size of the box. Subjects are required to have at least six months of therapy before being exposed to another SCP.
SCP-51XXb is a small fluorescent light bulb inside of SCP-51XX. When SCP-51XX is unscrewed, a small fluorescent light. When the bulb is removed or destroyed, a five hour period of "sleep mode". All dreams of SCP-51XXa will come to a sudden stop and all subjects will regain consciousness. If the bulb is not replaced within the five hours, SCP-51XX will be considered terminated.
Discovery of SCP-51XX: Even though the material of SCP-5037 is unknown, the box’s origin is undoubtedly from Germany. SCP-51XX was discovered in 1938 while British soldiers were raiding a small Nazi laboratory.
