Item #: SCP-X
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
This SCP must be destroyed at all costs. Attempts to kill this SCP appeared to be successful at first, but it regenerated itself after several days. SCP-X should be contained in a 10 m x 10 m x 10 m with highly reinforced steel. If the SCP attempts to attack anything, it must be met with full force. If this SCP causes a containment breach, the detonation of an onsite nuclear device will be necessary, as this SCP is highly dangerous and will cause mass destruction if it reaches civilization.
Anyone who attempts to interact with SCP-X will either go completely insane or face death. Only Class-D personnel are permitted to interact with it.
Description:
SCP-X is an entity that can assume the form and abilities of any creature, including other SCPs. The true form of this SCP is unknown. It is extremely intelligent, hostile and powerful, and some people have even said it is the most powerful SCP. It is able to regenerate itself after being "killed". Nobody knows how it does that, but some theories suggest that it cannot be killed, it will simply just regenerate itself over and over again.
Discovery:
The first incident of SCP-X was in ███████, New Mexico. Numerous people were found with their necks snapped in a restaurant named ██████████ ███████. Investigators searched the restaurant, and found a man, likely a waiter, mumbling gibberish in the bathroom. Once the man made eye contact with them, he violently attacked one investigator and was shot in the head. A screaming noise was heard in the kitchen, but investigators decided not to search the kitchen, in fear for their life. However, through the window, they could see a figure resembling SCP-173, who was in heavy containment at the time. After the investigators left, the Foundation was called in, and classified this entity as SCP-X, due to its ability to transform into any creature. It was also given its classification because of how dangerous it is.
Interview with SCP-X, conducted by Dr. █████ ████: 10/19/2004
Dr. ████: So, um, tell me again, how can you transform into other SCPs?
SCP-X: And why would I tell you that? You're just a small fool in this big universe. You are nothing, and I am everything.
Dr. ████: If you speak a truthful answer, nothing will happen to you. If you don't speak, then we will put you back in that cell.
SCP-X: Again, you are a fool. You are dumb, you are stupid. There is no reason for me to give you that answer if you are just a small, dumb fool in a big universe, where you are nothing, and I am everything.
Dr. ████: Give us the answer now!
SCP-X: You are not worthy. Therefore you must die.
At this point, SCP-X starts mumbling what seems like gibberish.
Dr. ████: What the hell is he doing?!?!
SCP-X continues to mumble gibberish, until he lets out a big roar.
Dr. ████ lets out a bloodcurdling scream as SCP-X kills him.

Incident Report: 08/24/2009
At approximately 2:14 AM, a distress call from Site-[REDACTED] regarding a containment breach was received. Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 was dispatched to the site, only to find that all personnel at the site had been killed. The task force reported seeing a figure resembling SCP-682 at the very end of the hallway. However, investigators have concluded that was not SCP-682, as SCP-682 was in heavy containment at a different site almost halfway across the world. The MTF continued to search the site, only to find more dead personnel. When they returned to the same place they saw the SCP-682 impersonator, they were met with an SCP-096 impersonator. They left again, but later they noticed that several people from their group had gone missing. After that, Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 immediately left the site and locked it down. Site-[REDACTED] has been abandoned ever since.
