Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be protected by an electric fence, no less than 2.5 m high and 65 m wide in diameter. At least two cameras must be placed along the perimeter at all times. Several signs claim of water contamination, hence the tight precautions. Any subjects attempting to reach SCP-XXXX must be given to local authorities.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a hand-dug well, measured to be 8 meters deep and 2 meters wide in diameter. It is primarily composed of standard concrete, with trace amounts of iron and copper. Moss is known to grow on the concrete rings. SCP-XXXX is located in the outskirts of [REDACTED], Belgium. SCP-XXXX has the anomalous ability to complete most “wishes”, with an unquantifiable limit. Subject must be within a diameter of 50 meters of SCP-XXXX in order for said ability to manifest. SCP-XXXX is activated when a subject audibly recites a “wish” within its area of effect. Any “wishes” with malicious intent are known to be ignored or otherwise uncompleted. All suitable “wishes” will be completed in an unfavourable manner within 30 days. SCP-XXXX was first discovered in 19■■ when operatives visiting the area heard increasing rumors of a magic well that grants wishes in the forest of [REDACTED]. Several resident interviews confirmed these suspicions. Class-C amnesiacs were then administered to all interviewed residents. Upon further investigation, it was discovered the well was hand-dug in 18■■ and later fortified with concrete in 19■■. Whoever constructed the well remains unknown. Any documentation of SCP-XXXX before The Foundation’s discovery has not been discovered.

Test Log (SCP-XXXX)-■: D-XXXX was sent into SCP-XXXX’s effective range, and was instructed to wish for [REDACTED]. Two weeks later, D-XXXX was found in his cell having major discomfort while respirating. Upon further inspection, [REDACTED] was found permanently lodged in the subject’s esophagus. All attempts to remove [REDACTED] have failed.

Test Log (SCP-XXXX)-■■: Multiple D-Class personnel, consisting oF XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, were sent into SCP-XXXX’s effective range. All were instructed to wish for “a miracle.” Three days later, XXXX’s cell erupted in flames. Site ■■ was evacuated, and the cause of the fire remains unknown. XXXX expired shortly after the fire due to multiple third degree burns. XXXX was found in their cell eight days later, experiencing extreme discomfort from their upper back. Within four hours, two wings sprouted from XXXX’s back. Further tests were conducted, and the wings were found to be completely nonfunctional. Attempts to remove the wings have failed. XXXX was found missing from their cell seventeen days later, after screams were reported from their cell. Despite multiple search attempts, XXXX’s whereabouts remain unknown.Twenty-seven days later, XXXX woke up in their cell missing their right arm. The circumstances under which XXXX’s right arm was removed is still unknown, despite being monitored by multiple cameras in their vicinity all times.

Notes: [REDACTED], a local resident wished for a fortune, and later received five million euros acquired during a bank heist. [REDACTED] was later tried and deemed guilty of theft, among other crimes. A tourist, identified to be [REDACTED], wished for global fame. [REDACTED] was later found to be the carrier of an otherwise unknown strain of bacteria. This incident made it to various global news networks before [REDACTED] expired two weeks later.
