Description: SCP-XXXX is a 16,5 cm x 23,5 cm sized hardcover book titled "A complete guide to Mental Terminators". No publishing company or date is found in the book. When viewed, the subject experiences hunger, which lasts approximately 2 minutes. The book itself describes so called "Mental Terminators", which share a resemblance to the Foundation's Memetic Kill Agents.

The following text is lifted from the book. Any attempt to view SCP-XXXX without proper inoculation will result in immediate expiration.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was first discovered when foundation operatives in the Los Angeles bay area found rumors about a "Killer Book" while undercover. SCP-XXXX was quickly apprehended and all subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX terminated or amnesticized with Class-A amnestics. It is theorized that this document comes from a potential group of Interest. Further study of the anomaly is restricted under O5 command.

Introduction and Classification

This book will contain all relevant information about the history, creation and uses of Mental Terminators (Hereby referred to it as MTs)

Classifications:
All MTs receive a rating depending on the effectiveness and lethality of said terminator.

Lethal Ratings: White - Green - Orange - Red - Black
Effectiveness Rating: Alpha - Beta - Gamma - Delta - Omega

A White-class mental terminator causes minor damage to the subject while a Black-class mental terminator causes lethal and irreparable damage to the body or psyche

Alpha-class mental terminators act between 1 year and onward. Omega-class mental terminators can activate in 3 nanoseconds.

While white-class MTs are not lethal; however viewing said terminator without proper inoculation is ill advised and is punishable by demotion. Distributing any terminators is strictly forbidden and is cause for termination

History

The Idea of Mental Terminators date back to ancient times, but it was first created in 1967 and Cambridge IV by Barryman Langford. The late Barryman was researching the concept of Mental Terminators in the 1960's. In 1967 Barryman successfully created the first documented case of MTs. In 1968 Barryman Langford expired due to frontal cortex shutdown when viewing the Terminator. 4 researchers expired while trying to examine Barryman's computer

Non-Lethal Mental Terminators

All mental terminators are dangerous and is to be handled with precaution.

While creation of a Mental Terminator by accident is rare, it is possible to create one, as outlined in accident report MTa-01 to 23

Recorded instances of Mental Stimulation created by MTs include but not limited to:

1. Hunger
2. Thirst
3. Irrational fear
4. Temporary and permanent blindness
5. Temporary and permanent deafness
6. Loss of consciousness

Lethal Mental Terminators

Majority of mental terminators are lethal, compromising about 80% of our database. These include visual MTs, but it is not limited to sight. 41 cases of non-visual terminators has also been documenting, including cognitive hazards, audio hazards, emanation hazards and hallucinatory hazards.

Cognitive hazards include Anomaly-752 (Roko's basilisk), Anomaly-314 (Waterbodies) and Anomaly-023X (McCollough effect). Creation of mental terminators are outlined on page 36.

Creation of mental terminators

Using the formula below, the resulting image will be a Orange-Gamma type mental terminator. Creation of any new mental terminator is to be signed unanimously by the Global Directors. Creating mental terminators without approval will result in termination and any benefits removed from subject's family

3. Replace j with positive fraction
4. Solving this formula for R will result in an odd number
5. Than use (R*π)/theta
6. The resulting number using Berryman-Circlespace can be turnt into a Mental Terminator
