An entrance to SCP-47XX.
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-47XX is to have an exclusion zone with a radius of at least 20km centered on the hilltop clock tower. This exclusion zone and the relative foundation facilities within it shall be designated as Armed Containment Site-34, and requires level 4 security clearance to access. The area is to be designated as a no-fly zone up to 50,000ft. Entrances to SCP-47XX are to be monitored at all times with a seismograph and acoustic ground microphone to monitor any movement within the tunnels below. Entrances to SCP-47XX should be covered ONLY with the specially-designed radial-locking, airtight blast covers. Within one (1) hour of an entrance shift, the new location should be located, covered, and have monitoring equipment set up. If the new entrance location is not found and covered within one (1) hour, MTF Epsilon 23 should be activated and sent to secure the entrance location in level B P.P.E. If a breach of SCP-47XX-2 occurs, Alpha-2 containment procedures should be activated. If a breach of SCP-47XX-1 occurs, a 1 km radius should be evacuated for three (3) hours so it may dissipate.
Description:
SCP-47XX is a network of active steam tunnels running underneath the state university located in ██████████,██, USA with a shifting, Non-Euclidean geometry. It has fifty (50) entrances located in a 9 km radius of a small, obelisk shaped clock tower located near the center of campus that will all change their location at random with the exception of one (1). While the significance of the clock tower specifically is unknown, it is in close proximity to the only static entrance of SCP-47XX which is located in a maintenance room in the G15 parking garage. Due to the non-euclidean nature of SCP-47XX, it is impossible to know its exact size; however, the furthest tunnel is only ever located no more than 10 km from the clock tower.
