item #:SCP-XXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX is to be kept in an 80% nickel-alloy lock box on site-███. Any and all further testing must be reported to Dr. ██████ for approval. No personnel with surgically implanted magnetic pins are to be stationed within 50 meters of SCP-XXX. Any foundation member attempting access to SCP-XXX are on grounds for immediate termination.
A 14,000+ Gauss magnet is to be kept inside SCP-XXX's lock box at all times. SCP-XXX is to be checked every 30 days for a reduction in the strength of the magnet present in SCP-XXX's lockbox or speech originating from SCP-XXX exceeding its standard 20 dB.
Description: SCP-XXX seems to be a Hasbro's "bop it." SCP-XXX is standard in appearance to other models of the popular game. SCP-XXX is however, extremely worn, and no longer emits the standard sounds of other models, most likely due to the immense strength of the magnet located within its center. The magnet at its center is measured to have a strength upwards of 50,000 Gauss(standard MRI machine)
Audible speech can be heard originating from the center of SCP-XXX. Sound insulation is not effective against the sounds originating from SCP-XXX. The speech seems to be voiced by the original voice actor for the bopit franchise. the standard lines originating from SCP-XXX are:
"Bop it to start!"
"Please come and bop it to start!"
"I demand that you please Bop it to start!"
"Bop it to start! you won't regret it! you will regret not Boping it to start!"
"<name of nearest person to SCP-XXX> Bop it to start!"
Interviews with Mr.██████, the original voice actor for non anomalous models of "bop it", find that they have never voiced any of the lines or other lines heard after SCP-XXX reaches a human host.
Subjects with physic resistance scores of 70 or less are drawn in by the "voice" of SCP-XXX. In 10% of cases, subjects will instead lose control of their body and begin attempting access to SCP-XXX whilst the subject exhibits extreme distress. often subjects will voice their inability to stop moving their own body.
