SCP-XXXX in its dormant state, with its pendulum at rest.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a sealed container no larger than 65 centimeters tall by 10 centimeters wide. A mechanism for holding the pendulum attached to SCP-XXXX at rest is be attached to the inside of the container.
The container is equipped with recording equipment, to monitor for ticking within its containment. Ticking of any type should be reported to the site administrator.
Access to the box is restricted, and the pendulum should only be operated by Class D personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid, female figure measuring 31 centimeters tall. It is mounted on top of a pedestal, measuring 29 centimeters tall, and is adorned with a clock. The pedestal appears to be formed out of wood, with patterns engraved in it. No access to the internal mechanism of the clock is apparent.
The figure remains at rest unless the pendulum begins swinging. This event can occur spontaneously. Following this, a ticking noise will emanate from the base of SCP-XXXX, and the figure will reanimate, turning its head to stare at an object within eyeshot. (Testing reveals that the range of eyesight of SCP-XXXX is that of an adult human. The object that it picks seems to be at random, though SCP-XXXX seems to have a preference for the living versus the inanimate.)
Upon acquiring a target, the clock hands of SCP-XXX will begin to spin, and the local time of the target will begin to change in accordance with the hands of the clock.
Addendum A: Attempted communication with SCP-XXXX on █/█/201█, conducted by Dr. ███. Papers with YES and NO were placed in the vicinity of SCP-XXXX, and the answers were recorded based on the gaze of the anomaly.
Dr. ████: Can you understand me?
SCP-XXXX: YES
