Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are to be contained within a 2ft x 1ft box of half inch thick sterling silver containing no traces of the element carbon. All objects infected by SCP-XXXX-A or SCP-XXXX-B's anomalous effect are to be classified as SCP-XXXX-1 and are to be incinerated.

Description: Mobile Task Force Sigma-6 "Lumberjacks" (assigned to the Congo river basin to discover possible anomalies caused by the escape of SCP-████) discovered, in the African village of ███ █████ ████ under the ownership of a self proclaimed Shaman residing in the village. The Shaman, now classified as SCP-████, was determined to be the creator of SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B. [See Interview A]. [See Addendum 1].

The origin of SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B is currently unknown. SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are two feet from two seperate humans of the Luba ethnic group dated back to 1833 and 1856 respectively which, when in contact with a carbon based lifeform, causes the rapid and fatal removal of all carbon atoms in the organism which it touches with the exception of humans of African descent. [See Test Log 3]. This anomalous effect appears to only activate when either SCP-XXXX-A or SCP-XXXX-B are in contact with an carbon based organism that is sentient. The carbon that is removed from the organism through the appendage area used to touch it and is formed into a cluster of boart diamonds.

Addendum XXXX-1: After continued interrogation of "the Shaman" ordered by Head Researcher Ferrius, it was concluded that he was not infact an anomalous humanoid and was only using an artifact that he had found. MTF Gamma-5 "Red Herrings" was dispatched to scrub the local culture and religion of any reference to SCP-XXXX. The Shaman was given Class F amnestics and was reprogrammed and relocated to the town of █████, ████████.

Test: D-495367 is ordered to touch SCP-XXXX-A with his dominant hand
Result: D-495367 loses consciousness in 13 seconds as his right hand turns black with a high concentration of carbon. The carbon begins to seep out of D-495367's fingers and condenses into a cluster of boart diamonds.

Test: D-495367 is ordered to touch SCP-XXXX-B with his dominant hand
Result: D-495367 immediately loses all of his extremities. It was derived that the hands and feet
of D-495367 were cleanly cut off by an unknown force, not dissimilar to SCP-330.
D-495367 suffers through the regular process of creating a cluster of boart diamonds.

Test: D-49781 is ordered to touch SCP-XXXX-A with his dominant hand.
Result: D-49781 reports that SCP-XXXX-A is vibrating violently, as if it was being
introduced to an electrical current. A mass of carbon can be seen forming into a 31 carat diamond.
Note:
It is not yet known where SCP-XXXX-A acquired this carbon.
