Item №: SCP-XXXX
Anomaly Class: Safe Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-A are currently contained separately in Neptunian Orbital Safe Object Containment Station NOSOCS-II. SCP-XXXX is kept in NOSOCS-II Containment Vault 9, Storage Sector 3. SCP-XXXX-A has been outfitted with a standard 8.0 L V16 engine for testing purposes and is kept in NOSOCS-II Containment Vault 8, Storage Sector 4.
As of Incident XXXX-03/12/20██, containment for SCP-XXXX-A has not changed. The core of SCP-XXXX has grown too large to attempt retrieval of SCP-XXXX from its current location, High-Energy Anomaly Research and Containment Station HEARACS-IV, at this time. HEARACS-IV currently maintains a stable orbit over Neptune, but can be course-corrected remotely should this change. All essential research and most anomalous objects formerly in containment on HEARACS-IV have been moved to other high-energy containment stations.
Personnel are not to board HEARACS-IV for any reason.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a 2011 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport. Apart from its location of discovery and immunity to the damaging effects of FTL travel, SCP-XXXX-A appears to be non-anomalous.
SCP-XXXX is an engine similar in outward appearance to an ordinary 8.0 L V16. In spite of this, SCP-XXXX's internal workings are completely inconsistent with any internal combustion engine. Instead, it seems to run on some form of solar power, with solar panels lining its inner shell, and what appears to be a miniature sun approximately 4 centimeters in diameter kept suspended in its center by unknown means. Attempts to safely remove this entity from SCP-XXXX in an effort to study its composition have been unsuccessful thus far.
When properly installed in a vehicle, SCP-XXXX enables stable FTL travel. Large vessels, such as the Mnemosyne, are able to safely reach speeds of up to 2.9998c. Smaller vehicles, such as personnel carriers, when outfitted with SCP-XXXX, can reach 15.4999c. As SCP-XXXX-A is much smaller, being designed to carry a maximum of four persons and a small amount of cargo, outfitted with SCP-XXXX, vehicles of similar size have been observed to reach [REDACTED], far in excess of the newest Bifrost Engine models, and without the drawbacks of Bifrost Engine use.
It is currently not fully understood how SCP-XXXX allows vehicles not built for FTL travel to achieve such speeds, though preliminary tests suggest that gravitational time dilation may be a factor.
Testing Provisions: Installation of SCP-XXXX in small vessels approved for FTL travel must be approved by the senior researcher in charge of Containment Vault 9. SCP-XXXX is not to be re-installed in SCP-XXXX-A.
Disassembly of SCP-XXXX must be approved by the senior researcher in charge of Containment Vault 9 and must take place off-site and only on a station approved for testing highly volatile energy-emitting anomalies. Full reassembly of SCP-XXXX must be completed before returning SCP-XXXX to NOSOCS-II.
As of Incident XXXX-03/12/20██, testing on SCP-XXXX is postponed indefinitely.
Incident Report XXXX-03/12/20██: Incident XXXX-03/12/20██ took place during routine internal maintenance of SCP-XXXX, performed aboard HEARACS-IV in Containment Area 3, Cell 304. Per standard operating procedure, Cell 304 was chosen because all neighboring cells were vacant, allowing for an energy buffer zone, to avoid any unexpected interactions with anomalies currently in containment.
0411 Hours: SCP-XXXX's outer casing is removed. Core is measured and found to be 3.98cm in diameter. Core temperature is measured and found to be 64.21°C. Both measurements are within expected tolerance. Maintenance proceeds.
0434 Hours: Technician Emil Tolvestoy notes that SCP-XXXX's core seems to have increased in size. Core is measured and found to be 12.03cm in diameter and continuing to expand. Core temperature is measured and to be 83.99°C and rising.
0458 Hours: Cell 304 is evacuated as SCP-XXXX's core continues to increase in both diameter and temperature at a roughly linear rate.
0603 Hours: SCP-XXXX's core has grown large enough and hot enough to melt through the walls of Cell 304 and adjacent cells. Containment Area 3 is evacuated and all anomalies stable enough to be moved are moved to Containment Area 2.
0824 Hours: SCP-XXXX's core has consumed the entirety of Containment Area 3, including two anomalies too unstable to be moved. A station-wide evacuation order is issued as the core's expansion begins to slow.
0858 Hours: Evacuation of HEARACS-IV is completed, with only 23 personnel members and ██ anomalies unaccounted for (not counting the two confirmed to have been consumed by SCP-XXXX's core).
1032 Hours: Thermal scans of HEARACS-IV confirm SCP-XXXX's core has stopped expanding and is holding at a steady temperature.
Since Incident XXXX-03/12/20██, thermal scans have shown SCP-XXXX's core has begun to gradually decrease in size and temperature. By all estimates, at the current rate, the core will return to its original size and temperature by 22██.
Item №: SCP-XXXX
Anomaly Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Civilian craft are to be diverted away from SCP-XXXX. All exits of SCP-XXXX are to be under constant surveillance. Hostile craft exiting SCP-XXXX are to be disabled and boarded and the crew are to be detained and questioned.
Description: Each instance of SCP-XXXX is a triangular pyramid composed of an unidentified black metallic substance. Each "face" of SCP-XXXX is an equilateral triangle 1500 meters in height. Three faces of each instance contain a triangular opening 1400 meters in height in the center of the face. The remaining face (hereafter referred to as the "base") is completely solid. The inner workings of SCP-XXXX are still unknown. All attempts to breach the base of an active instance have been unsuccessful.
The opening in any given face of any instance of SCP-XXXX does not lead to the center of that instance of SCP-XXXX. Instead, it appears to be "linked" to an opening on a different instance of SCP-XXXX, allowing for instantaneous travel between the two, even across distances of more than 1,000 light years. There are 82 currently known instances of SCP-XXXX, which form an extensive network spanning [REDACTED]. Below are the locations of several known instances of SCP-XXXX as well as the destination of each opening.

Approximately 15 light-minutes from WR-22. |
1. XXXX-03
2. XXXX-11
3. XXXX-15 |
As WR-22 contains two of the most luminous stars in the galaxy, measures have been taken to prevent explorations near Proxima Centauri b from observing any light that might be perceived as originating from the planet's surface. Similar measures have been deemed unnecessary for the other two connected instances, as SCP-XXXX-11 is subterranean, and the location of SCP-XXXX-15 has only been visible from Earth once in recorded history, in 199█, and is not projected to be visible again until 438█. |

Addendum XXXX-01: SCP-XXXX-02 and SCP-XXXX-06 have been found to emit a unique, hyper-specific band of electromagnetic radiation within the low gamma range. While in itself not inherently indicative of anomalous activity, the frequency being emitted by both instances at any given moment have been found to match within one-half nanometer. This phenomenon is most likely linked to the missing opening on both instances, meaning that tracking the frequency may lead to more similar instances.
Addendum XXXX-02: One previously available opening on SCP-XXXX-28 disappeared without warning yesterday (03/07/20██). The disappearance of the opening rendered one probe inoperable and terminated its data feed, but the probe managed to send final coordinates before going offline. The location of the newly-discovered SCP-XXXX-36 is [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-XXXX-28 has since begun emitting radiation within the Hellion Band, like SCP-XXXX-02 and SCP-XXXX-06.
Addendum XXXX-03: SCP-XXXX-36 was found destroyed, like SCP-XXXX-10. It is possible that whatever destroyed it is a hostile entity. Effective immediately, security is to be heightened around all known instances. The SCP-XXXX network is currently the quickest method of long-distance transportation available to the Foundation, and any further loss of instances poses a significant threat to Foundation control.
Addendum XXXX-04: The Sojourn probe has detected a Hellion Band signature at [COORDINATES EXPUNGED]. An exploration of the planet has been authorized.
Addendum XXXX-05: [REDACTED]
Addendum XXXX-06: Following the SCP-XXXX-77α Incident, there are to be no further explorations of SCP-XXXX-77α. SCP-XXXX-78 and SCP-XXXX-79 are to be destroyed as soon as a suitable method of doing so is found. Until then, security forces surrounding SCP-XXXX-80, SCP-XXXX-81, and SCP-XXXX-82 are to eliminate any entity seen exiting these instances with extreme prejudice.
