Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Charging ports and cooling fluiducts have to be installed at least 10m of each other to make sure that SCP-XXXX does not overheat or run out of charge.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is an anomalous object which is split into two parts. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. These pieces together form a humanoid robot which is able to make sentient and moral decisions. SCP-XXXX has been nicknamed "Andy" by the personnel. SCP-XXXX has the ability to make an exact copy of any non-living object provided that there are no organic materials included.

SCP-XXXX-1 is the part of the robot which starts from the waist up. This part contains its' cooling fluid pump, its' knowledge banks as well as other vital subsystems. Despite this, SCP-XXXX-1 cannot sustain itself for long without SCP-XXXX-2. Because of this, they are usually attached with a very powerful magnet.

SCP-XXXX-2 consists of the remaining parts of the robot. Although SCP-XXXX-1 contains most of the vital components, SCP-XXXX-2 contains the "battery" of the robot. SCP-XXXX-2 cannot make sentient choices by itself.

SCP-XXXX-2's battery is comprised of two parts. The first of these is a system comprised of two substances not encountered anywhere else. It is said that these batteries can store enough power to keep SCP-XXXX sustained for at least 1 year. The second part is a circuit board containing several MOSFET transistors which handle the power switching between different modules of SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX is known to wander the halls of the facility and often interacts with many of the personnel. Due to its' wide vocabulary it has developed speech patterns which sometimes confuse the personnel due to their complexity. SCP-XXXX has been proven to have feelings and often displays them using the LCD screen which is part of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX often displays annoyance when it is not understood or misunderstood by the personnel. It is widely believed among personnel that SCP-XXXX is very friendly in its' intentions towards personnel but it can percieve hostility as a threat to its' survival, this activates a phenomenon which is nicknamed by many of the personnel as "Bit Rage" whereby SCP-XXXX will attack any personnel that comes within 2 metres of itself. While in "Bit Rage," SCP-XXXX cannot be talked to and it does not operate on reason. It can and will kill anything in its' path to end the life of the agressor.

When separated, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 will often try to reattach. If they do not reattach within 30 minutes or by depletion of emergency batteries in SCP-XXXX-1's core, SCP-XXXX-1 sends a radio signal to SCP-XXXX-2 to disable its' subsystems, whereby both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 go into what the personnel calls "Deep Sleep." When in "Deep Sleep," SCP-XXXX-1 releases trace amounts of electromagnetic energy. If this is picked up by SCP-XXXX-2, it will re-enable its' subsystems and reattach to SCP-XXXX-1. Upon reattachment, the complete SCP-XXXX will ask for the current time and date.

Addendum:
Test A - 23/2/████

Subject: SCP-XXXX (SCP-1038)

Procedure: SCP-XXXX was handed SCP-1038 and asked to make a replica of said SCP.

Results: SCP-XXXX was not able to clone SCP-1038.

Analysis: Although SCP-1038 is not an organic object and is non-living, something is disabling SCP-XXXX's ability to produce a copy of it. Further investigation needed.
