So like I woke up today after dreaming about some super weird creature thing. Like its hard to describe but essentially it looked like a bunch of animals frankenstiened together.

So anyway after I woke up, I got a text message from my number of a picture of this thing. I dunno what the fuck but it was weird

Oh, this reminds me. One evening when my daughter was over at a friend's house, I decided to have a me night. I poured a glass of wine, turned down the lights, and popped on HorrorChannel. It was quite fun for a bit. About four hours in, I received a text message. The sender was listed as "me". I checked the number, and it seemed familiar. I then checked what my phone number is, and sure enough, I received a text message from myself.

What were the contents? It was a picture of myself. The perspective of the photo looked as if it had been taken from someone standing crouched down in front of my television. The movie playing at the time happened to have a main character that was a photographer.

It scared the shit out of me. I called up a friend and talked away the rest of the night. But what had happened was still in the back of my mind.

Oh my. Your odd occurrence remind me of something that happened during one of my dreams; technically it's the same dream overnight, but it's like life, different things happen. I was sitting in the room the dream takes place in, just staring out the window. I usually never saw anything from the window, but for a split second, I swear I saw myself, standing next to something/one I couldn't identify. I blinked and it was gone. Maybe I hallucinated within the dream? I'm not sure.

You should so post more about that dream, Sheep

I might. But at the moment, nothing of note has occurred, besides that. It's just the same lucid dream everynight.

Would any of you be interested in hearing about my experiences with a recurrent lucid dream I’ve had for a while?

This post has been made as a follow-up to my last post.

For three years, I have had the same dream every night. A small hospital room that leads to a long, dark hallway. It’s always a lucid dream; in fact, it hardly feels like a dream, with an exception of the eerie calmness that always looms over the room. Some nights I stay in the bed and stare out the window at the night sky. Once, I saw myself and an unidentified object/person staring back up at me. But, it is typically just the stars. Sometimes I explore to see what lies beneath the surface of the room.

For a reason I can’t explain, I’ve always been afraid to go down the hallway. Each time I thought about exiting the room, going past the door frame, fear would nip and nag at me, pulling me into the safety of the small room. One day, I decide to go down the hallway.

As I exit the room, I feel the same fear pulling me, calling to me to stay, but I simply ignore it. Three years of curiosity finally won. The first thing I notice upon walking down the hall are the doors. There are lots and lots of doors. I then notice that besides the doors, there is no end in sight; it seems infinite. Each room I see has the door closed, just as it is in my room. After a few minutes, even through the closed doors, I hear singing. I let the sound guide me forward, until I can hear the singing more clearly. I gently knock on the door, which is swiftly opened by a young man. The man greets me, and makes a statement that both answers and creates questions:

“It’s not your first night here, I see.”

It feels like more than a dream. It's like a separate reality.

Yo was that dream with the guy last night? If not what else has happened since?

I suppose I can begin a thread where I log my dream experiences, any interesting experiences, that is.

To answer your question, that dream did occur the night before I made the post, yes. I have had another dream tonight that will start off my dream thread.

On this thread I will be logging all of my interesting experiences with my reoccurring dream. I will start off by telling the story of what happened in last night's dream.
