Last Known SCP-5967 hand image.
Item #: SCP-5967
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: No reflective surfaces nearby. If this SCP sees a picture or reflection of itself; it loses control and acts out of anger. Two Level-4 Staff must be nearby at all times in the eventuality of a containment breach.
SCP-5967 must be in a 3m x 3m cell at all times. SCP-5967's cell must be pitch black/dimly lit to avoid it seeing itself.
All staff must be wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times while being around SCP-5967, to avoid infection from 5967's claw scrapes.
Description: SCP-5967 used to be a scientist at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Named Hanz Zlephernacd, Age 45. Doctor Zlephernacd was exposed to an experimental form of Nerve Gas that he was working on at the time. This exposure gave him an extreme mutation that formed him into SCP-5967.
The SCP Foundation was first alerted to SCP-5967 three days after the first exposure of the Nerve Gas once Doctor Zlephernacd started killing his fellow professors and students. 5967 was contained and brought to Site [RESTRICTED TO THE 05 COUNCIL] where they are currently in containment and safe.
That isn't it though.
The people who don't survive the infection caused by SCP-5967's claw scratches are now classified as SCP-5967-A, an Apollyon class SCP that has the potential to cause a K-Class Scenerio.
SCP-5967-As have the ability to manipulate people to do whatever 5967 desires. Nobody is immune to this, but Site [REDACTED] staff take a course on how to avoid this.
SCP-5967-B are classified as people who survived SCP-5967's scratches and infections with no recall as to what happened on that date/time.
SCP-5967-Bs are held in containment for 14 days in a separate containment cell from SCP-5967 to clear them of infection. They are then let out of containment and given a choice to go back into the world or to work for the SCP foundation to help contain SCP-5967 and other Keter class SCPs.
