Item #: SCP-4000

Object Class: Euclid Neutralized

Special Containment Procedures: MTF Psi-7 are to be stationed on SCP-4000-1 and SCP-4000-2 at all times and are to preform routine exploration of both areas. Any instance of SCP-4000 on SCP-4000-1 or SCP-4000-2 are to be immediately contained on Lunar Area-32. Surveillance of SCP-2399 must be improved. Should Foundation personnel, stationed on satellites above SCP-2399, come within probing range of SCP-2399’s repair drones, personnel are required to probe said drone. If probing is accomplished, immediate “dissecting” of the drone is to be initiated. Should the metal or technology of the drone match, or have similarities, that of SCP-4000-1 and SCP-4000-2, SCP-2399 is to be confirmed the current home of SCP-4000.

Description: SCP-4000 is a were large, incredibly intelligent creatures of unknown origin. SCP-4000 were capable of creating highly complex, technological weaponry, (currently defective due to age) which could, seemingly, fire across the solar system. SCP-4000 is believed to have lived on the rings of Saturn, dubbed SCP-4000-1.
SCP-4000-1 are large, militarized structures with previously mentioned weaponry inside. Each instance of SCP-4000-1 have doorways about 2.74 meters in length leading to a large room with a large weapon, facing upward to a fake, metal sliding door that would open up allowing easy fire into space. Use of radiocarbon dating shows that the metal of SCP-4000-1 originated back to 1 million B.C.
SCP-4000-2 is a massive, spherical ship disguised as an asteroid, currently revolving around Earth. Foundation personnel discovered SCP-4000-2 while attempting to construct Lunar Site-79. Further testing of SCP-4000-2 shows the same metal and technology of SCP-4000-1. Radiocarbon dating shows that SCP-4000-2 is about the same age as SCP-4000-1. After [REDACTED] years of exploration of SCP-4000-2, it was deemed abandoned. No instances of SCP-4000 were ever found on Earth and was deemed neutralized. Dr. [REDACTED] was studying SCP-2399 when he theorized that SCP-2399 could be the current home of SCP-4000. As of right now, it is unknown if this is true.
