Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a windowless cell at site 135 at all times. The walls of the cell must incline inwards at an angle no less than fifteen (15) degrees and the floor must be constructed out of multiple uneven flagstones. A single fluorescent light strip placed in the ceiling is to flicker on six (6) second intervals.

All eye contact with SCP-XXXX is strictly prohibited.

SCP-XXXX may only be provided with very basic nutrition via a hatch in the object's cell door. Once every three (3) days, two (2) D-Class personnel, accompanied by one (1) security officer, are to pressure-wash the cell and SCP-XXXX of waste as a consequence of it's containment.

Requests for amenities and items from SCP-XXXX may only be granted by site 135 administrator Dr Max Rammrool.

SCP-XXXX is to be monitored closely by Foundation staff for changes in mood, while concurrently assessing broadcasts and online feeds for instances of SCP-XXXX-A. Should SCP-XXXX's mood improve, or SCP-XXXX-A instances manifest, SCP-XXXX Recovery Protocol is to be carried out immediately.

When experiencing comfort, safety and an improved general sense of well-being and/or high self esteem, one or more instances of SCP-XXXX-A may manifest in the region surrounding SCP-XXXX up to a distance of [REDACTED].

SCP-XXXX-A refers to a variety of different anomalous objects/entities that move towards SCP-XXXX at a rate of █.█kmph. If SCP-XXXX asks after a 'Melanie' or provides staff with a hand-written letter, SCP-XXXX is to be informed that phone service is still unavailable.

SCP-XXXX is to be monitored closely by Foundation staff for changes in mood, while concurrently assessing broadcasts and online feeds for instances of SCP-XXXX-A. Acquisition of SCP-XXXX: SCP-XXXX was initially discovered during what was initially believed to be the early onset of a CK - Class End of World scenario, located in [REDACTED], UK. When MTF-Psychosocial arrived however, it was discovered to be several different anomalous effects occurring simultaneously. SCP-XXXX was found to be at the epicentre of the event.

Upon SCP-XXXX's containment at site 135, the anomalies moved towards the object's location at Site 135, at a rate of █.█kmph, whereupon the various instances of SCP-XXXX-A were independently secured.

During follow-up investigation, it was determined that the object's anomalous ability to manifest whole new anomalies spontaneously based on it's emotional state had never previously occurred. The exact nature of the triggering event is still unknown.

ethics guy says yes technically we are deliberately not containing this anomaly, but it's all about the numbers. This helps us to secure objects. Check the name securing comes before containing and protecting.

max is extra concerned that this new 'recovery' protocol involving whiskey will only exacerabate his anomolous properties but the ethics guy confirms that this is the point.

max says that he's going to at least give the guy a blanket. he's not a monster.
