Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4177 is to be kept in a steel, Kevlar padded room of dimensions 4x3x3 meters at all times. It is known to attempt escape by scratching at multiple containment surfaces and it is theorized to be sentient.
SCP-4177 is to be watered with H2O:HCl every two days by D-Class personnel, and it is to be contained in acid sulfate soil, which it needs to survive. Level 2 clearance is needed to access the containment cell. Every two days, SCP-4177 must be disabled by N2O vented into its cell for routine checks, and watering.
Description: SCP-4177 is an Aloe Vera ( Aloe Barbadensis ) plant that is about 3 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and 4 meters in height. It has several scratches on its leaves and stem.
When in range of SCP-4177, it will "whip" its leaves at the subject with incredible amounts of force, which is capable of ripping the subject's skin immediately after contact. SCP-4177 was found in ███████, Saudi Arabia, on a routine check of the area. It was seen hunting small animals for no discernible reason. The plant was then confiscated by the Foundation immediately.
Addendum 4177-1: Two (2) D-Class were assigned to test SCP-4177's whipping capabilities. As soon as they entered the chamber, D-Class-4564 immediately got pushed with immense amounts of force, severely injuring him. Seeing this, D-Class-9542 tried to escape it's reach, getting hit by its leaves. When SCP-4177 was incapacitated shortly after, D-Class-9542 suffered deep wounds to his left forearm, right thigh, and neck, while D-Class-4564 suffered spinal fractures and slashes all over his torso. After the experiment was concluded, SCP-4177 immediately tried to escape by scratching at the door.
Further testing might be needed.
