Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5865 No containment procedures have been devised due to the anomalous nature of SCP-5865

SCP-5865 02-A Subject is to be suspended in an anti-gravity chamber and given the basic amenities for daily life alongside a gaming console that is not connected to the internet, several magazines, and other requested form of entertainment. The subject is expected to create their own gravity in order to live alongside and use their basic amenities. Subject can only maintain a single source of gravity at a time. Should the chamber detect a major change in gravitational state, a neutralizing gas will automatically be injected, rendering the subject unconscious for further containment.

SCP-5865 02-B Subject is to be blindfolded at all times with the exception of testing purposes or with a written order from someone with specialized level 4 clearance or above. Subject is to be kept restrained at the hands and feet at all times. During random 4 hour intervals music is to be played at random with no consistency in the genre played. This has been shown to sooth the subject substantially as well as keep the violence of their illusions to a minimum. The intervals are to have no pattern to prevent the subject from keeping an accurate internal clock and prevent further escape attempts. Due to the psychological damage that can be caused through the physical, visual and auditory hallucinations caused by SCP-5865 02-B all personnel in a position to be exposed to the subject must undergo weekly psychological examination.

SCP-5865 02-C Subject is to be contained in a room reinforced with beryllium bronze plates made from ingots that have been put into SCP-914 under the "very fine" setting that are layered at 2 meter intervals throughout the walls.SCP-5865 02-C is to have the same reinforced beryllium bronze casing over the entirety of their forearms at all times. 24 hour surveillance is to be placed on SCP-5865 02-C in the event that their anomalous abilities weakness to beryllium bronze is a ruse for future escape attempts.

SCP-5865 02-D Subject is to be contained in a sensory deprivation chamber to prevent [REDACTED]. The chamber is to be surrounded by 30 guards armed with SMGs, assault rifles, and LMGs fitted with explosive rounds. There is to be no less than 30 and no more than 31 guards in the containment chamber at any given time. A guard rotation will be made every hour to minimize escape opportunities. If the subject is seen outside of the sensory deprivation chamber they are to be killed on sight. Only personnel with level 2 clearance and and below and written permission from someone with level 5 clearance are permitted to interact with the subject at any given time.

SCP-5865 02-E Subject is to be contained in a chamber made of a mix of magnetite and specialized concrete to minimize the effects of from SCP-5865 02-E. 24 hour surveillance is to be placed on SCP-5865 02-E in the case of a world wide technological blackout. Should signs of this occur a neutralizing gas is to be injected into the chamber to prevent all potential containment breaches. While no attempt has been made, it is possible that SCP-5865 02-E could disable all technology in the world for the duration of their lifetime. This event will likely result in an XK Class scenario. Description: SCP-5865 is a separate dimension that exists outside of the laws of reality. The contents of SCP-5865 are empty until it transports an individual that meets a specific criteria into its space. Once an individual enters the dimension, they will be met by a figure who's initial appearance is reported to be a black formless mass that vaguely resembles a human body. The creature is surmised to have eyes that appear emit a colorless light. Reports described the figure as being "made of shadows" and that it "looked through their soul".

This figure will be hereby referred to as SCP-5865 01. SCP-5865 01 appears to be capable of perceiving the thoughts and memories of all individuals within SCP-5865. Every case of an individual being transported into SCP-5865 has happened during times where a person emotionally close to the individual was in direct and near inescapable danger. Once the individual has perceived SCP-5865 01, the dimension begins to shift dramatically. Reports say that SCP-5865 01 disappears, and the deepest fears and traumas of the individual materialize alongside a near indistinguishable copy of the person in danger.

In all cases the embodiment of their fears will then begin to antagonize the one close to them. Shortly after, a door will materialize behind the individual to a place from their memory where they report feeling "the safest". If the individual moves forward with the intention of protecting the other person, both the materializations of individual's fears and one in danger one stop moving and stare at the individual before disappearing.

If they choose to protect them, then SCP-5865 01 reappears in front of them with identical physical features to the individual, with the exception of maintaining its "glowing white" eyes. Reports say that SCP-5865 01 touched their forehead and entered a one way communication without sound. All of the messages are reported to be a kind of acknowledgment of passing some kind of test. The phrases "you passed" and "you did well" are quoted from individuals who made this form of contact with SCP-5865 01 .

The individual is then transported back to their reality with no time having passed for those who were outside SCP-5865. All individuals who were sent back in this way returned with an anomalous ability suited to protecting their loved one. The method that these abilities are transferred or created is currently unknown. All living instances possessing an anomalous ability from SCP-5865 will be here after referred to as SCP-5865 02.

Should the individual choose to abandon the other person while inside SCP-5865, then the door will violently close before they can reach it. At this point SCP-5865 01 becomes hostile and materializes in front of the individual. Upon reaching this stage all methods of capturing video inside SCP-5865 cease functioning. Reports from those still capable of speech after this event say that SCP-5865 01 appeared several inches in front of them with its original black body and eyes identical to the their own. SCP-5865 01 is reported to give a look full of "endless hatred" while excreting a red substance from its eyes. Witness reports stated that it "was crying tears of blood".

The report continues to state that the eyes of SCP-5865 01 where visible regardless of where the individual look, even when they closed their eyes. It is claimed that once they looked into SCP-5865 01's eyes, that it showed them something. No individuals to date has been willing to reveal what they have been shown. All individuals that have experienced this have clawed their eyes out, rendering them blind. All subjects appear to be traumatized and are no longer functioning on a higher level. Treatment as been unsuccessful with any class of amnestics. End of report.

It is suspected that one or all iterations of Dr. Bright may posses an anomalous ability that can manipulate minds from SCP-5865 following the incident that led to his brother [REDACTED]'s SCP designation.

- SCP-5865 02-A is capable of temporarily creating and manipulate a single point gravity with the size and strength of their choosing. Testing revealed its maximum strength to be equivalent to 456,937 metric tons of pressure.

- SCP-5865 02-B can create visual, auditory, and physical hallucinations with no limitation of size or shape within all area visible to the subject.

- SCP-5865 02-C has the ability to cut through all most solid objects with their upper arms.

- SCP-5865 02-D is capable of copying the knowledge of any person within [REDACTED]
