Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept alone in a standard concrete medium animal containment room with a metal grate floor. Underneath said metal grate is a second room, identical to the one above it, but with standard concrete flooring. The second, bottom room is to be manually cleaned hourly by several D-Class personnel. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 should be collected and transported to appropriate locations, while blood, fluids, and feces should be removed to prevent odor. Class-D personnel are instructed to be careful to separate SCP-XXXX-1 from waste products and keep SCP-XXXX-1 away from cleaning chemicals if possible. The top room must also be cleaned daily by D-Class personnel. Any doors leading into SCP-XXXX’s containment area are to be in a second, airtight room where hazmat suits will be stored and bleaching supplies kept. The ventilation system in and around SCP-XXXX’s containment area is to be monitored at all times in case of a blockage by SCP-XXXX-1.
A handler is to be assigned to SCP-XXXX to prevent it from becoming disdainful or aggressive towards foundation staff. SCP-XXXX’s handler has the responsibility of feeding, exercising, and providing companionship to SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is to be fed 2 cups of ‘Science Diet: Adult Large Breed’ dog food twice per day, and is permitted to have an additional half a cup per day as treats if it’s handler chooses to do so. SCP-XXXX’s handler is required to spend at least an hour a day with SCP-XXXX, which should be used to exercise SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX’s handler is permitted to bring toys for SCP-XXXX, but they must be removed from the room when SCP-XXXX’s handler is not present to prevent the buildup of SCP-XXXX-1 in the top room.
SCP-XXXX’s handler and those cleaning SCP-XXXX’s cell are required to wear the provided hazmat suits when entering the containment area. The hazmat suits and any other items that may have come in contact with SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1 are to be soaked in bleach for a minimum of 3 hours after exiting the containment area. Additional items that need to be sanitized include cleaning materials, toys, and identification cards worn outside of the hazmat suits. Those in contact with SCP-XXXX are not permitted to shave or pull the hair out of SCP-XXXX unless it is for medical or scientific purposes. Grooming or brushing SCP-XXXX is not allowed under any circumstances and handlers should avoid petting SCP-XXXX to prevent the spread of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX should never leave it’s container except in emergency situations for sanitary reasons. Failure to follow these procedures is punishable by relocation to more hazardous SCPs (D-Class only), being removed from the position of handler, and/or demotion.
