Special Containment Procedure:
SCP - 3948 is to be contained in a 15 cubic meter sound proof container. The Containment area should have a small man-made spring running through it after such a request was granted.
Description:
SCP - 3948 is a humonoid male of Scandinavian decent roughly 1.6 meters tall. SCP - 3948 was discovered in [DATA REDACTED], Sweden.
SCP - 3948 is compleatly naked. Test has shown his skin is similar to fish scales despite looking human-like. SCP - 3948 is Always holding a violin, dedicated SCP - 3948-A. 3948-A has the style of a simple violin with no remarkable feature is that 3948-A is compleatly inperveous to physical damage. This includes, mold attacks, water damage, kinetic force, and fire damage.
When SCP - 3948 plays on SCP - 3948-A, the music will cause anyone who heard it to try the best to find the source. Testing shows that, once they have found the source, SCP - 3948 proceeds to [DATA REDACTED] and kill the victim. SCP -3948 will then return to his playing until another victim comes within earshot. SCP- 3948 prefers to play his music in deep lakes where the victims can be talked about as if they had drowned. Preferable hunting grounds are Lillypads.
SCP - 3948 has on occasion stepped out of the water to converse with staff of the foundation. Interviews with SCP - 3948 has given more insight. See log SCP - 3948-1. In these interviews, SCP - 3948 has been given permission to leave Containment on the condition that the violin should be left. The request was denied at first but once SCP - 3948 had Contact with D-7750 during the first experiment, 3948 became more talketive.

3948: Please, call me Näcken.
Dr.: Any reason for that nickname?
3948: It is what the Swedes call me. I am a bit of a legend in their eyes. They do paintings of me, errect statues. Even named a flower after me!
Dr.: Intresting… How long have you existed?
3948: I have been around for… At least since the big ice moved away from my homeland. I have no need to count the years.
Dr.: That is quite a long time. Tell me, what is with the music?
3948: You mean my art? It is so beautiful that people wants to know where it is from. I use it to lure my prey into the water where I can do my stuff. Young boys are Especially Good.
Dr: Young boys? Care to elaborate?
3948: Young boys are generally more curious than girls, and willing to take the risks to dive into unknown Waters. They also don't scream as much and gets easily tired. [DATA REDACTED 10 SECONDS]

3948: My sister lives in the Swedish Forest. I miss her a lot, such a beautiful woman.
