SCP XXX is a male Black Labrador. weighing the standard weight of its canine sub species, weighing 68 pounds. It has yellow eyes with black fur, and has been described by multiple personnel as adorable.
SCP XXX has the mind of an average dog requiring food, water and daily cleaning of its containment cell. SCP XXX has only one anonymous property, that being that its saliva causes any who come in contact with it will immediately explode sending blood and other meat like derbies in every direction. SCP XXX seemingly has no control over this effect. Through testing on d class its been discovered that the effect only works on saliva on skin contact and is negated by clothing and standard bio hazard suits.
Containment procedures: SCP XXX is to be encased in a containment cell made to mimic a average american living room with wood flooring. There must be a constant human watch in different shifts, the watch should be wearing hazmat suits to prevent the anomalous effect. the human watch has access to a television and computer in the cell to pass time while allowing the SCP to sit with them on the couch.
Recovery: SCP XXX was retrieved from Vancouver Canada, on April the third 1987 the neighbors had reported a foul stench originating from the couples house. police investigated to find the dog in the corner whining as the couple had been spread across the wall, floors, and ceiling. the Foundation was notified soon after to investigate taking the dog.
Incident Report "Exploding Dino"
due to a containment breach SCP 682 had successfully escaped, Along with SCP XXX, the dog licked 682 causing an explosion of innards blood and scales, the most vital parts of 682 such as bone scales and its brain bits were brought back into the containment cell for it to reform.
SCP XXX was awarded a big dog bone for its work before being sent back to its cell.
