I ever tell you what I hate about this place? The lawns. And the effort people put into maintaining them. There's lawns upon lawns upon lawns here, and they all look the same. So irritatingly perfect. I'll raise you this: you can get fined for not properly maintaining your lawn here. All that effort. So I say this: your lawn can be as perfect as you want it to be, nobody's going to want to live there if your house is on the verge of collapse. Well the same thing counts for the people living in those houses. They all try to hide their little quirks behind that perfect lawn. Keeping up appearances, as they say. Everybody's doing it, right? People nowadays are so obsessed with maintaining their lawns that they don't realize the lawn is uglier than those quirks they have. People enjoy lying to themselves I suppose. Well, I'm not like that. I always say that everyone has their little quirks, even me. And in the end, honesty lasts the longest.
Although, if I had always been honest to everybody I meet, I wouldn't be able to tell you what I'm about to tell you.
