Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained inside a 13x28cm case at normal times. Usage of SCP-XXXX may be used to increase work staff production not be used any time outside of testing.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a silver hand mirror with different decals on it's handle and mirror edges. On the back of SCP-XXXX is a note that reads, "Getting rid of your worst self, one life at a time." During normal day time hours, SCP-XXXX shows no apparent anomalous effects. However, during sunset or sunrise hours, SCP-XXXX will become open to performing its anomalies. This is done by the shining of any light behind or in front of an entity to where a shadow can be formed. Approximately 1-minute after "activation" of SCP-XXX, the observed shadow will manifest into a two-dimensional entity known as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 seems to show normal characteristics until after 2 minutes after SCP-XXXX activation.
At this point, SCP-XXXX-1 will deviate from normal reflective properties and will show a measure of sentience. Actions at this point remain relatively friendly such as waving. After about three minutes of activation, SCP-XXXX-1 will then proceed to display or perform various actions that relate to habits or tendencies of the subject. Most of these displays focus on negative habits such as drinking, domestic violence, or homicide. However, rare cases have shown that SCP-XXXX-1 will perform good habits that the subject has in order to boost its self-esteem, this particularly happens when the subject is recovering from a traumatic event, or struggle from other various disorders or illnesses. However, SCP-XXXX-1 has not shown any memetic effect, and while it's implied purpose is to benefit the subject, people may choose to ignore SCP-XXXX-1.
After approximately 25 activations from the current subject, SCP-XXXX-1 will slowly start to cease active displays of targeted habits. This will be replaced with SCP-XXXX-1 starting to perform negative body language movements such as hanging its head and holding its face in its hands. After 25 more activations by the current subject, SCP-XXXX-1 will start to display pleading body language and more radical attempts and displaying the subject's targeted habits. After 50 activations by the current subject, SCP-XXXX-1 will be in a permanent pose which has been implied to be sobbing.
Upon a new subject activation SCP-XXXX, the normal anomalous activity will resume with the same procedure following if there is no change. However, if the current subject begins making changes or significant progress, SCP-XXXX-1 will employ jumping or attempts at high-fiving the subject.
