Special Containment Procedures: SCP – 6623 is to remain sealed in an air/watertight .5 M diameter hollow tungsten sphere with a thickness of ████████cm. The tungsten sphere is currently located inside of an armed nuclear warhead to assure its destruction in the event of nuclear war or other required use. The warhead is especially fitted to keep the parcel from making direct contact with any medium other than metal via vacuum and electromagnetic suspension. Upon detonation, the object is believed to be vaporized. Or so humanity and all living organisms in the SOL system should pray. Pictures of SCP-6623 are strictly forbidden without approval from Dr. █████, Dr. ████████, Dr. ████████, O5-█. The nuclear warhead is currently under ownership of ██████████. The ████████ government and personnel are not aware nor capable of breaching SCP-6623's cell. Undercover personnel keep tabs on the warhead at all times and unauthorized personnel who interact or tamper with SCP-6623's cell are immediately terminated for the safety of all life in the immediate star system.
Description: SCP-6623 Appears to be an aura of self-contained gamma radiation under electronic and instrumental observation translated to numerical data on paper. Visual, Auditory, and Physical interaction/perception of any kind causes viewer's atoms to emit large bursts of gamma radiation. These victims are classified and contained under the ID syntax: SCP-6623-G_#. ████████████ ████████████ █████████ ██████ █ ████████████ ███ ████████████
Upon physical acknowledgement, the victim will emit a 34hz and 17142hz pitch, "indescribably horrific pulsing noise" as stated by the single containment personnel that survived the only recorded breach. The "Shattered" person(s), as LCP ███████ described, seemed to be conscious and experiencing immense physical pain. LCP ███████ describes seeing all nerve endings in the shattered (SCP-6623-G_13, SCP-6623-G_61, SCP-6623-G_4) glowing through their skin. (NOTE: LCP ███████ has had 15 seizures over a 4-hour time span after asked to thoroughly recall and describe what exact sounds and exact colors SCP-6623-G_13, SCP-6623-G_61, SCP-6623-G_4 was emitting rather than a generalized description.) ███████ █ ███ ████████ ████████ ████████████ ███████ ███ ████ The shattered were dismembered and reassembled several times per second. Each dismemberment is faster and louder than the last and every pulse causes the next closest individual to glow and dismember.
All security video feed that was since destroyed after the incident as the physical recordings caught fire as soon as they were saved/printed onto film. LCP █████ viewed the incident from 100 M away before locking himself behind a blast door and causing a controlled collapse around the door. SCP-6623-G_13, SCP-6623-G_61, SCP-6623-G_4 vaporized their way through the door and after 6 minutes post perception, ejected upwards out of earth's atmosphere towards the sun causing a solar flare. It is speculated that breached containment may result in a solar flare that could wipe out all life on earth as the shattered spread upon close interaction with exposed individuals, causing a rapid burst of solar winds.
The origin of SCP 6623 is via Chernobyl's infamous "Elephant's Foot" or Corium deposit has melted through the basin of of the nuclear power plant and reached a water source, causing an explosion. Anomalous activity was reported to the foundation shortly after a disaster recovery team was assigned to investigate. SCP-6623 responds to any and all probes and human initiated contact, beckoning those experimenting to get a closer look beyond the data provided from experiments. 05 command has explicitly stated that all scientists that work on or within proximity of SCP-6623 must receive amnestic treatment.
