Special Containment: SCP-5979 is to be stored in a special containment locker ▓▓▓▓In site ▓▓▓▓ Minimum security clearance is needed to use SCP-5979 due to it’s merely annoying nature and has shown no known threats of any kind to human and non human entities alike.
Description: SCP-5979 is a small blue pendant looking to be made out of clear epoxy about 1cm in diameter, soft in texture with a small cat-like face on the front. The pendant is secured to an ordinary leather band with what looks to be copper wire. SCP-5979 though looking fragile in nature is (unfortunately) indestructible to any and all stress and damage tests, breaking machinery, and ricocheting ammunition of every caliber.
Discovery: SCP-5979 was found in a public library near the buildings manga and comic section on the floor by an agent stationed in the area, when the agent picked it up he began noticing a change in his speech and reported it to the foundation. Upon further testing of 5979, research has found that when worn or held in any way of physical contact SCP-5979 changes the users speech pattern to what we can only call “UwU talk”. This change does not only affect humans, but also other anomalous entities when placed on them and only has this effect until physical contact has ceased.
