Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-B is to be contained in a 3 M by 3 M carbon chamber, SCP-XXXX is to be held up in the middle of the cell, supported by two identical columns, both columns created by the same material as the chamber. Both columns should protrude from the north and south face of the chamber. Two Krawn Pressure Exertion Units (KPEUs) should be active at all times, both above and below the chamber. Each unit should exert exactly 37276.88 kPa(1) of pressure on subject, the subject effectively being compressed to a safe equilibrium. If the pressure exerted by either of these units alters, both units should be shut down and tended too immediately by onsite technicians.
In the case that either KPEUs malfunction and shutdown is not possible, Project Aite is to be executed.
Description: SCP-XXXX denotes two entities. SCP-XXXX-A is a theological, sub directing, psychological thought construct originating from an extradimensional location. SCP-XXXX seems to be ubiquitous in the minds of every human on Earth, expressing itself as a lament reaction in humans to a sequence of subjective events triggering this reaction and is publicly accepted as such.
SCP-XXXX-B is a black, metallic sphere. Measuring 2.73 inches in diameter and formed of a material similar to glass. SCP-XXXX-B has been concluded to being atomically indestructible(2), with-standing pressures up to 60000.00 kPa(3). SCP-XXXX-B seems to have a direct influence over SCP-XXXX, research suggests that there is a direct correlation between the amount of pressure exerted on SCP-XXXX-B and the intensity of the effect of SCP-XXXX-A. Exerting more pressure on SCP-XXXX-B increases SCP-XXXX-A's strength over other psychological functions, decreasing pressure will mitigate SCP-XXXX-A's strength over other psychological functions. Exerting no pressure at all will result in the termination of SCP-XXXX-A until pressure is exerted again. Events in which SCP-XXXX-A is terminated are designated SCP-XXXX-Prime events.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX-B was discovered in Shaft Number 3 of the TauTona Gold Mine on 04/09/[BlackBox] by miners working at the time. The subject was found encased in layers of granite; radioactive dating has dated back the rock ~75,000 years. Upon taking the object out of the granite, SCP-XXXX-A spontaneously terminated. This event, now the first XXXX-Prime event, lasted 15 days and affected every human worldwide, only ending when pressure was exerted once again. Foundation operatives posted in the town at the time recovered the object when locals attempted to smash it. It took 2 weeks before Foundation personnel was able to apply pressure and discover SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B's influence over it. The event lasted 29 days in total, no amnestiation required as survey has concluded the civilian populous has thought this event to be "normal” and lost all memory of the event.
Addendum 1.1: During XXXX-Prime events, violence rates rise by 190%, and relationships between individuals rise to an 82% chance of failing. These percentiles lower significantly once the event ends.
