Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX is to be electromagnetically suspended inside a 30-inch equal-sided cube of concrete, reinforced with 2-inches of lead on all sides, or
until radiation emitted from SCP-XXX is deemed safe by medical staff.

SCP-xxx's containment unit is to be stored in Site- ██'s vault number 1█-Y31k.

Due to SCP-xxx's unexplained proprieties, tests relating to SCP-xxx's "messages" (see Binary Test Nº1) are deemed high risk and inadvisable. Further research on SCP-xxx is only to be carried out with explicit approval from 2 Level 4 personnel.

Description: SCP-XXX is a 4-inch black, metallic ball. It's metallic alloy is presumed to be plutonium and an unknown element. Radioactive emissions appear random, usually between 70 keV to 190 keV.
SCP-XXX will rotate 360 degrees either clockwise or counter-clockwise along it's Y axis at a speed of 11200 rpm, not accelerating, but rather instantly snapping to it's usual speed. It will then come to a stop for 1 second, and repeat. Sometimes SCP-XXX will remain motionless for 5 seconds, this was later identified as a blank area that separates letters (see Binary Test nº1).
Where SCP-XXX gets its power to move is still unexplained.

SCP-XXX's origins appear to be at Foundation Radioactive Disposal Site P-██ in 2007, categorized as "Byproduct of experiment 1.14B regarding [DATA EXPUNGED], experiment was an astounding success". There is no piece of media in any Foundation database as to experiment 1.14B, with the exception of a single audio file titled "You should really take a look at this", authored by Dr.████. The Foundation did not employ any staff under that name at the time.

After identification of it's anomalous nature, SCP-xxx was sent to study and testing at Site-██ under supervision of Dr.Phillip ████. The tests performed by his orders are listed in Addendum Y31k-1. Dr.Phillip's most pertinet test was Binary Test Nº1.

Binary Test Nº1 Report

Procedure: SCP-XXX's rotations were given a value of 1 for clockwise and zero for counter-clockwise. Stoppage for longer than 1 second in between rotations was to be considered a space.

Results: For 27 hours of measuring, SCP-XXX displayed a random assortment of stoppage, and rotating, with no coherent message displayed, some time around the 28th hour of measuring, SCP-XXX displayed the coherent phrase "TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH FUCKERS" and remained without activity for 100 hours.

After 100 hours, SCP-XXX started moving again. Binary decoding ensued, the phrase "PAY ATTENTION I CAN ONLY SAY THIS ONCE" was broadcast by SCP-xxx.

The next hours of communication between Dr.Phillips's team and SCP-XXX are speculative, but what is known is that after 24 hours of failing to report to his Class A superior, Mobile Task Force Beta-7 was dispatched to investigate Dr.Phillips's lab at Site-███. MTF Beta-7 team 601 found the lab empty, with Dr.Phillips missing along his 4 junior researchers.

SCP-XXX was found at his testing cell, not moving from his previously reported location.
