While observed at unlit conditions SCP-5120 will cause nausea, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and the urge to come close to the mirror resulting in the observer to get more tired. Subjects seem to suffer from a cardiac arrest before they can touch it. After 5 minutes of constant observation, viewers will suffer from cardiac arrest. These effects can be prevented and stopped by ending observation of SCP-5120 and or light entering the room. SCP-5120 seems to block outside communication while observed.

Doctor Daniel Kowalski: Can you tell me what you experienced during observation of SCP-5120?
D-5735: Oh. Let me see. After some time I started seeing shadows behind me but when I turned around they disappeared into thin air! I started coming towards it to see if anything other was inside but I got tired trying to. Then I started feeling nauseous and the shadows came back I knew better than to turn around. They came closer and closer and when they were about to come close I turned around again and saw nothing. And then you guys turned the lights on again.
Doctor Daniel Kowalski: Did you hear us talking to you over the intercom?
D-5735: Wait you were talking to me while all of that was happening? Wow, I didn't notice really.
