Item #: SCP-4156
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4156 is contained in a small, soundproof empty cell with no windows. SCP-4156 does not require to be fed to be sustained and has shown no interest in the consumption of either organic or non-organic material.
Description: SCP-4156 is a humanoid creature standing at 2.2 meters in height. Its body structure is similar to that of an adult human male's, as the subject is entirely symmetrical to the former. The noticable feature that differs the two is the complete lack of body hair and the non-existent face, a blank pallid space in its stead. The subject is dormant and capable of standing in its cell without movement for an indefinite amount of time.
SCP-4156 displays its anomalous properties when it is made aware of a factual inaccuracy by means of hearing or observation, so its range extends both to writing and spoken language. When it is cognizant of such a thing, it will enter a stage of abrupt activity, acquiring sudden speed of at least ten (10) kilometers per hour, the actual number dependent on the severity of the misconception.
If within unblocked vicinity to the victim, or blocked by obstacles it deems passable, SCP-4156 will accelerate towards its target and attempt to ram into them. At low severity of the factual inaccuracy, it has been observed to smash through wooden crates, whereas at higher severities it has been seen tearing iron and steel obstacles in half during its charge. It has been theorized that if the subject's properties are triggered on a certain level, it will become incapable of being impeded by any solid matter.
In most cases, the victims suffer fractured bones and severe bleeding from the impact. SCP-4156 shall only
charge once per inaccuracy, so its motive is to attack the target, not kill it, although it can easily achieve speed enough to eliminate victims in such a way, and has done so on several occasions.
There has been speculation that it posseses some form of sentience, for SCP-4156 is most drawn by inaccuracies of grammatical nature, and as such most of the higher severity cases stem from these kinds of misconceptions.
SCP-4156 can also be used as a semi-objective respondent for questions of interest to the Foundation, see observational log 4156-3 and higher.
OBSERVATIONAL LOG 4156-1:
D-94689 is instructed to trigger SCP-4156 by declaring an incorrect date for the death of Julius Caesar, while within clear and unblocked view of the subject. SCP-4156 propels forward with a speed of 12 k/h and knocks down the target. No permanent injuries.
OBSERVATIOMAL LOG 4156-2:
D-94690 is instructed to trigger SCP-4156 by breaking the basic rules of grammar through writing on a blackboard, within view of SCP-4156, blocked only by a wooden door. SCP-4155 accelerates with a speed of 86 k/h, obliterating the door and D-94690, breaking his neck from the impact.
OBSERVATIONAL LOG 4156-3:
D-94689 is instructed to to declare that God is real, within unblocked view. SCP-4156 is unresponsive.
OBSERVATIONAL LOG 4156-4:
D-94689 is instructed to declare that the Bible depicts true events that have occured. SCP-4156 accelerates with a speed of 20 k/h, smashing into the target.
OBSERVATIONAL LOG 4156-5:
D-94691 is instructed to declare that SCP-4516 is sapient while enclosed in a steel cell, unobserved by the subject, but within hearing distance. SCP-4156 accelerates with a speed of ██, smashing through the walls and crashing into the victim. D-94691 is reported dead instantly.
Addendum 4156-1: Observational log 4156-5 implies that SCP-4156 might be more than what it simply seems like and is reacting negatively to the open knowledge of its awareness.
Addendum 4156-2: Since the conduction of Observation log 4156-5, SCP-4156 has been noted to pick up more minimal speed and is, in rare cases (approximately 2%), capable of using teleportation in favor of acceleration. Whether this was simply a dormant ability just recently made active or if SCP-4156 is acquiring new abilities, is unknown.
