Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX is currently considered completely immovable by any known means. As this is the case, SCP-XXXX is to remain located at its current location in ██████████, ██, USA under 24 hour surveillance by both automated and human based systems. All personnel within the containment site are to be armed with a standard foundation 9mm pistol sidearm and/or a standard foundation 5.56x45 NATO carbine rifle for both their personal protection and the protection of the containment site in the event of a possible SCP-XXXX-A1 breach. No personnel outside of the members of ATF-Rose-1 are to enter SCP-XXXX for any reason. At no time are any personnel able to interact or enter SCP-XXXX without explicit permission by Dr. ███████ C██████ or a member of the O5 Council. Failure to comply with this directive will result in immediate disciplinary action and/or termination of the offender(s)¹.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is a trans-dimensional anomaly of unknown origin located in an abandoned coffee shop in ██████████, ██, USA that is currently intrinsically linked to a red painted steel door of standard size (197cm tall, 80cm wide, 3.175cm Thick) mounted on a wall in what would have been previously a storage area for the defunct business. The door itself, while generally considered physically non-anomalous, has been proven to not be connected to either the wall nor building but rather the trans-dimensional portal leading into SCP-XXXX-A1, as all efforts to remove the door and/or frame from its current location have proved impossible by all Foundation capabilities.

SCP-XXXX was discovered on January ██, 20██ by the ████ ██████ Contracting Company sent to remodel the building. The Foundation was alerted of SCP-XXXX by a planted agent embedded in the local law enforcement after a call of multiple mysterious disappearances of construction workers at the site were reported to authorities. Class-C amnestics were administered to all civilian and law enforcement personnel involved with the discovery of SCP-XXXX, and the building was quickly closed off with a containment area immediately constructed around the site. ATF-Rose-1 “Falsches Übel” (False Evil) was formed shortly after SCP-XXXX’s containment, and subsequently deployed for further exploration of the anomaly².

Between 0███ and 0███ UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) on any given day, the anomaly is considered to be in an “active” state, allowing the free entry and exit of both living and non-living entities through the anomaly. Outside of these times, the anomaly is considered to be in an “inert” state, and the door is considered non-anomalous (besides the previously mentioned connection to the trans-dimensional portal) and opens to bare drywall.

Upon entering through the anomaly, entities are transferred into an abandoned subway system located in what would be modern day Berlin, Germany on a parallel Earth to our own. This version of Earth, designated SCP-XXXX-A1, shares identical composition and history with our universe up until the year 1944CE³. The timeline of SCP-XXXX-A1 diverges from our own when on Wednesday, March 15th, 1944 “Das Großdeutsche Reich” (DGR) (The Greater German Empire; also known as “The Nazi Empire” or “The Third Reich”) unexpectedly detonated five nuclear bombs (estimated to have been approximately 60kt yield each) in the following locations and recorded times⁴(recorded in what we know as Central European Time):

• London, British Empire - 0144 CEST (0044 Local)
• Moscow, USSR - 0212 CEST (0412 Local)
• Tokyo, Empire Of Japan - 0255 CEST (1055 Local)

These detonations resulted in an SK-Class “Orwellian Shift” Scenario, as by Friday, March 17th, 1944 at 1200 CEST the unconditional surrender of all affected nations to German rule was finalized, where the DGR, and later “Das Globale Dritte Reich” (GDR) (The Global Third Reich), then became the dominant civilization on Earth.

The GDR expanded beyond our modern scientific advances rapidly between 1945 and 1984 (39 Years), colonizing both the Earth’s Moon (1970) as well as Mars (1978) and mastering efficient sub-light space travel and commerce between inter-celestial colonies. Sometime in early June 1984, scientists within the GDR’s PFV⁶ had a technological breakthrough from their “Unendliche Adler-Kampagne” (Infinite Eagle Campaign) that has since allowed them to actively observe and enter parallel Earths in nearby universes. Once regular observations began to take place however, an unusual pattern began to show, as it was discovered that between 42%-47% of nearby Earths were not under German Nationalist control, but rather worldwide Soviet control.

This discovery was distinctly unusual, as on all of these parallel Earths (barring SCP-XXXX-B1) the Soviet forces were seen and treated as an occupying military force rather than a social norm. This lead to the discovery of a parallel Earth, designated SCP-XXXX-B1, that has since been confirmed to be the homeworld of the invading Soviet forces known as the “Истинный социалистический союз” (ICC) (True Socialist Union). In this universe, much like the German forces of SCP-XXXX-A1, the USSR managed to somehow develop and detonate multiple nuclear bombs across the globe that lead to the surrender of both Allied and Axis forces and subsequent global Soviet control.

The GDR continued purely observational operations of SCP-XXXX-B1 controlled universes until sometime in late March 1989, when a man named Alexi Baranov was found attempting to access a restricted terminal within a PFV research facility located in █████ ██████, Germany. Following his arrest and subsequent interrogation by SS officers, Alexi Baranov explained that he was not from SCP-XXXX-A1, but rather SCP-XXXX-B██. He was reportedly tasked with, to quote recovered GDR documentation:

“…obtaining any and all information regarding trans-dimensional travel, communications, and observation known by the Global German Empire.”

While no further information regarding Alexi Baranov has been recovered, The GDR immediately began work on “Das Endgültige Erweiterungsprojekt” (The Final Expansion Project), which sought to mimic SCP-XXXX-B1’s ICC in conquering the Earths of nearby universes.

This project began what would soon be known as “Der Große Krieg Der Dimensionalen Kolonisation” (The Great War Of Dimensional Colonization) which would colloquially shorten to “Kalter Krieg Ad Infinitum” (Cold War Ad Infinitum) by 1993 across most SCP-XXXX-A1 dominated worlds. From 1991 to present day⁷, SCP-XXXX-A1 has control in approximately 1██ to 2██ parallel universes, while SCP-XXXX-B1 has control in approximately 2██ to 2██ parallel universes.

At this time, The Foundation believes neither SCP-XXXX-A1 nor B1 propose sufficient threat to our present reality both SCP-XXXX-A1 and B1 are currently considered Amida-Class threats to normalcy within our present reality (with a high probability of causing a DK-Class “Reality Invasion” Scenario), and all steps should be taken to neutralize SCP-XXXX’s trans-dimensional properties as soon as possible. This shift towards neutralization follows the discovery of a trans-dimensional tracking device (now designed SCP-XXXX-C) found to be implanted under the skin of Agent ████ “Schwert” (Sword) █████ after the seemingly successful infiltration of an SS security outpost in █████ ██████, Germany⁸ on ██/██/20██ where over ██% of The Foundation’s information of SCP-XXXX-A1’s historical records was sourced. When or how SCP-XXXX-C was implanted under Agent Sword’s skin is unknown at this time, and is furthermore considered irrelevant to the current mission of SCP-XXXX’s neutralization as designated by Lead Researcher Dr. ███████ C██████.

03/17: The affected nations, as well as a vast majority of their allies surrender unconditionally under threat of further nuclear attacks.

05/12: “Der Deutsch-Amerikanische Staat” (The German-American State) (DAS) is officially established over the former nations of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and all related territories.

06/06: Captured American warships commanded and assisted by the greater Kriegsmarine forces begin an invasion of Southeast Asia and Oceania as well as begin the German occupation of Japan.

08/01: The second and final invasion of the former Soviet Union and the German invasion of China begins.

09/14: The full capture of the former Soviet Union and China along with the official instatement of “Der Deutsche Sozialistische Staat” (DSS) (The German Socialist State).

10/09: The simultaneous establishment of “Der Deutsch-Pazifische Staat” (DPS) (The German-Pacific state) and “Das Globale Dritte Reich” (GDR) (The Global Third Reich) takes place.

10/11: Adolf Hitler gives a victory speech titled “Unser Kampf, Unser Sieg” (Our Struggle, Our War) in Berlin, Germany that is transmitted globally on both radio and some televisions. Following this speech, Hitler announces that Heinrich Himmler, Hermann Göring, and Joseph Goebbels would be promoted to “Obersten Kommandanten” (Supreme Commander). Himmler is given control over the DAS, Göring control over the DSS, and Goebbles over the DPS, with Hitler retaining supreme control over the DGR and overall GDR under the new title of “Kaiser” or “Emperor”. Furthermore, Hitler declares during this speech, that the term “Erde” (Earth) would no longer be used to refer to the planet as it would be replaced with “Welt des Reiches” (World Of The Empire).

11/01: “Der Erste Amerikanische Aufstand” (The First American Uprising) begins with a bombing at the The Empire State Building in New York City, New York by a guerrilla insurgency force known as “The Freedom Corp”.

12/24: The First American Uprising is quelled by Waffen-SS and Wehrmacht forces after a final battle known as “Die Zerstörung von Boston” (The Destruction Of Boston) where the city of Boston, Massachusetts was burned to the ground after The Freedom Corp were forced into the city by the Wehrmacht who proceeded to systematically destroy the city, killing all combatants and civilians they encountered. The total casualties of this battle are estimated to be between ███,███ to ███,███ There are currently no members of The Freedom Corp known to have survived this battle. Recovered records of this event show the first evidence of the GDR possessing and using anomalous/paratech-based weaponry in combat.

1945 - 1950:

03/22/1945: The first of of several “Productions Kolonien” (Production Colonies) is established on the continent of Australia, where the majority of the GDR’s military industrial projects would begin.¹¹

06/20/1945: Eva Anna Paula Hitler gives birth to Rudolf von Hitler, Adolf Hitler’s son and heir to the throne.

08/10/1945: The first supersonic jet engine aircrafts known as the “AH-87” are unveiled to the world with the public bombing and subsequent destruction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

02/01/1946: Adolf Hitler officially enacts the beginnings of what is known as the “Afrikanisches Wiederaufbauprojekt” (African Reconstruction Project) across the entire continent of Africa. The goal of this project was to use some form of terraforming paratechnology to convert the African continent into the central point of agricultural and mining operations within the GDR.¹²

03/15/1946: The GDR State announces that all religion, their practices, and related holidays are officially outlawed worldwide¹³. The new doctrine of “Die Zivilisierte Wahrheit” (The Civilized Truth) is implemented following this, and the first state holiday of “Tag des Sieges” (Day Of Victory) is established to be March 15th.

11/21/1947: Surviving remnants of The SCP Foundation, The Church Of The Broken God, Sarkic Cults, and ██ other anomalous groups of interest (both documented and undocumented in current Foundation records) are formed into the first members of the “Paranormale Forschungs Und Verteidigungsinstitution” (PFV) (Paranormal Research And Defense Institution). Furthermore, Reinhard Heydrich is given the new rank of “Forschungs Kommandant” (Research Commander) and is elected to oversee all future PFV research and operations.

05/12/1948: The first recorded detonation of a thermonuclear weapon occurs in the South Pacific Ocean and is overseen and observed by Kriegsmarine forces.

08/19/1948: The “Pazifik-Atlantik Kanal” (Pacific-Atlantic Channel) begins construction in the former nation of Panama. This would become an expansion of the previously constructed Panama Canal, rather than an entirely new passage.

10/01/1948: The Pazifik-Atlantik Kanal completes construction, now separating the North and South American continents with a width of 30km and a length of approximately 90km.¹⁴

10/05/1948: The continent of South America is officially designated as a produktions kolonien. This produktions kolonien would come to focus on common goods such as textiles, industrial materials, plastic/rubber, and new GDR currency known as “Einheiten” (Units)¹⁵.

12/15/1949: An anomalous event known as “Der Tag des Regens” (The Day Of Rain) occurs somewhere over ████████, Poland resulting in between approximately ██,███ to ██,███civilian and military deaths over a twelve hour period¹⁶. This brings the paranormal to the forefront of public knowledge, which is fully embraced by the GDR State under the umbrella term of “Außergewöhnliche Vorkommen” (Exceptional Occurrences).

06/06/1950: Adolf Hitler’s wife, Eva Anna Paula Hitler, is officially announced to have passed away from “natural causes”¹⁷ on the morning of 06/05/1950.

06/11/1950: June 11th is officially instituted as “Eva Hitler Tag” (Eva Hitler Day) following the state funeral held for Eva Hitler the same day.

1951 - 1960:

01/01-15¹⁸/1951: The PFV begin research on a top secret project known as the “Projekt Flüssiges Fleisch” (The Liquid Flesh Project) commissioned by Hermann Göring in order to bolster the Wehrmacht forces with a high volume of:

“…easily replaceable, drone-like, foot soldiers that could be produced in mass quantities yet still be capable of battle with the enemy alongside their human counterparts,”

to quote the mission statement of the project.
With the little information known about this project, it has been determined by Foundation researchers that it involved extensive experimentation with specimens of SCP-███ and the DNA of numerous human test subjects taken primarily from the city of ███████, Russia.

07/12/1951: An 8.4 magnitude earthquake occurs in San Francisco, California. Between 70%-75% of the city is damaged or destroyed, and the casualties are estimated to be between ██,███ to ██,███ civilians and Wehrmacht personnel stationed in the city. The GDR begins relief efforts in the following days.

11/02/1951: The Projekt Flüssiges Fleisch experiences a breach of SCP-███ specimens from their primary testing facility located ██km outside of ███████, Russia. SCP-███ specimens managed to infect over ███km^2 within a ██ hour period following the breach.

11/03/1951: The Projekt Flüssiges Fleisch is discontinued by Reinhard Heydrich as supervision is transferred to Heinrich Himmler and the SS. Multiple squadrons of AH-91 Fighter Planes carrying ██████████ █████████ are dispatched by the Luftwaffe to enact the “Kontingenz Der Verbrannten Erde” (Scorched Earth Contingency) over infected areas. Over ███km^2 of land is destroyed before The Projekt Flüssiges Fleisch breach is considered neutralized by the PFV. The research team assigned to Projekt Flüssiges Fleisch is subsequently dissolved¹⁹ by Reinhard Heydrich.

12/04/1951: The GDR unveils the first iteration of the “Kaiserlicher Aufseher Klasse” (Imperial Overseer Class) mechanized infantry for use by the Waffen-SS. They are first deployed to the Australian Produktions Kolonien in order to dampen civil unrest among the worker population centers.

03/28/1952: The first successful ICBM test is conducted over the North Atlantic.

07/21/1952: “Der Zweite Amerikanische Aufstand” (The Second American Uprising) begins with the coordinated assassination of ██ high-ranking Allgemeine-SS officers during a conference in Chicago, Illinois by a paramilitary resistance known as “Washington’s Rebels”.

10/19/1952: The American Flag is raised over Chicago, Illinois by Washington’s Rebels after a victory in the “Zweite Schlacht Der Amerikanischen Rebellion” (Second Battle Of American Rebellion) following the full retreat of GDR military forces from the city.

10/21/1952: A total of █ ICBMs fitted with nuclear warheads²⁰ are detonated in the city of Chicago, Illinois, bringing an end to The Second American Uprising. In the following 2 weeks, all PA systems and public radio broadcasts in the DAS territory repeated the following message:

10/25/1952: The GDR deploys a 70% increase of Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS ground forces across the DAS territory and a strict curfew is set in place. Any civilians found to have broken this curfew are immediately marked for “termination and processing”.

10/01/1954: The new STG-54 and MG-59 replace the STG-44 and MG-42 across all GDR infantry units.

09/15/1954: The “Weltraummeister Forschungs Und Entwicklungseinrichtung” (WFE) (Space Masters Research And Development Facility) is founded and begins development of the first spacecraft of The GDR.

04/09/1955: Southeast Asia experiences the widespread outbreak of an illness known as “Mechanische Erkrankung” (Mechanical Disease). The PFV quickly mobilized to quarantine the epidemic. It is widely accepted among research staff that this disease is actually some form of SCP-███, as recovered medical records from this time of those suffering from Mechanische Erkrankung show distinct similarities with The Foundation’s knowledge of SCP-███ symptoms.

11/02/1956: The Mechanische Erkrankung is 100% contained and eradicated in Southeast Asia, West Africa, and Australia. Casualties from Mechanische Erkrankung are estimated to be between █.█ and █ million over this approximately 1.5 year period.

03/18/1957: The North Island of New Zealand disappears for ██ hours following the testing of an unknown anomalous weapon by the GDR. The weapon was subsequently dismantled, and no further testing has been known to have occurred since. No further information about this event has been recovered from SCP-XXXX-A1.

09/13/1957: Adolf Hitler is diagnosed with Stage 2 pancreatic cancer by his personal medical staff. This information is not disclosed to the public by order of Hitler himself. His son, Rudolf von Hitler (age 12 at this time), begins preparation to take over his father’s position as Kaiser of The GDR in the event of his father’s death.

10/29/1957: Adolf Hitler survives a failed assasination attempt by his personal secretary, Joan Dufort. She is shot dead by members of Hitler’s personal protection detail, the “Kaisergarde” (Imperial Guard), after Hitler sounded a silent alarm.

02/11/1958: Following extensive treatment, Adolf Hitler is declared to be in remission regarding his pancreatic cancer.

05/19/1959: The PFV begins work on the “Uhrwerk Soldat Projekt” (Clockwork Soldier Project) at a research facility located somewhere on █████████ ██████, Japan.

12/20/1959: The first launch of the prototype “Gesellenklasse” (Journeyman Class) rocketship takes place outside of ██████████, Cuba. Due to a critical malfunction in the prototype’s fuel system, the vessel exploded 00:██:██ minutes after launch. No reported casualties occurred as a result of the explosion.

04/01/1960: The entity known to The Foundation as SCP-███ is neutralized by the PFV at a containment facility located somewhere in Antarctica, and the remains are subsequently incinerated²¹.

06/14/1960: The Kriegsmarine unveil their new “Atlantikklasse” (Atlantic Class) aircraft carriers and “Reichsklasse” (Imperial Class) battleships²² off the Atlantic Coast of The DAS.

1961 - 1970:

05/21/1961: The GDR fully fully converts the global power grid from fossil fuels to exclusively nuclear fission. Fossil fuels are diverted to powering the various vehicles and off-grid facilities until further advances in nuclear technology can be made.

09/13/1961: Heinrich Himmler, Hermann Göring, and Joseph Goebbels are awarded the “Held Des Imperiums” (Hero Of The Empire) Medal by Adolf Hitler at a public ceremony in █████ ██████, Germany. While the ceremony itself was of no notable significance, the Held des Imperiums Medal itself is of interest due to the design bearing an uncanny resemblance to SCP-███²³. Furthermore, no Held Des Imperiums award of that design has been given to any member of the GDR since this ceremony.

11/17/1961: The new MP-61 “Infanterie Maschinengewehr” (Infantry Machine Gun) and Taktisch NFZ-13 “Schienengewehr” (Rail Rifle) are implemented across all GDR military forces. Furthermore, the MR77 “Realitätsgranate” (Reality Grenade) are implemented across exclusively Waffen-SS and PFV units.

03/14/1962: Adolf Hitler is told that there has been a recurrence in his pancreatic cancer, which has now reached stage-4. His personal medical staff begin Adolf Hitler on chemotherapy shortly after his diagnosis.

04/22/1964: The PFV begins construction of the “Reines Genetisches Gewölbe” (Pure Genetic Vault) somewhere in Antarctica²⁴.

06/24/1964: The worldwide population exceeds 7 billion people.

02/11/1965: The WFE’s “Monderkundungsmission 1-3” (Lunar Exploration Mission 1-3) launches a total of 9 “Kosmische Seeleute” (KS.) (Cosmic Sailors) on a mission to land upon the lunar surface and claim the Moon for The GDR. The launch takes place outside of ██████████, Cuba and utilizes the improved Gesellenklasse-2 rocketship to carry out the mission. At 1200 local time, The WFE launch the vessel without issue.

02/14/1965: The crew of the Monderkundungsmission 1-3 land successfully on the Northern Pole of the Moon. KS. Johannes Wolfensohn becomes the first human to set foot on the lunar surface. He proceeds to plant the flag of The GDR on the lunar surface, officially claiming the Moon for The Empire.

02/15/1965: The Kosmische Seeleute establish the first “Mondaußenposten” (Lunar Outpost), laying the groundwork for future extraplanetary colonization by The GDR²⁵.

02/23/1965: The Monderkundungsmission 1-3 Team land safely in the South Atlantic, somewhere off the coast of ████ █████████, South Africa.

07/03/1965: The new “Abteilung Panzerautomaten” (Armored Automaton Division) of the Waffen-SS is introduced across the GDR and is composed of heavily armed and armored humanoid robots fitted with a rudimentary A.I. and designed to act as robotic tanks meant to work in almost any condition. This initial version of robotic soldier is designated as “Uhrwerksoldat M.1-E” (Clockwork Soldier M.1-E).

08/04/1966: The Gesellenklasse-3 rocketship begins production in preparation for The WDE’s Monderkundungsmission 2-1 that will be tasked with the construction and long-term inhabitation of of the first human “Mikrokolonie” (Micro Colony) on the Moon.

05/09/1969: The GDR’s “Kernkraftwerk Nr.52” (Nuclear Power Plant No.52), located ██km outside of the “Londoner Sperrgebiet” (London Restricted Zone) in England begins a sudden meltdown due to “critical human error”. This event results in between ██,███ to ██,███ casualties, and the subsequent mass exodus of the population from the former United Kingdom to mainland Europe, generally known as “Die Großen Briten Überschwänglich Von ‘69” (The Great British Exodus Of ‘69).

08/11/1969: Reinhard Heydrich, under command of Heinrich Himmler and Rudolf von Hitler, begins conducting the necessary preparations for work to begin on the “Projekt Elektroschaf” (Electric Sheep Project). This project is a spiritual successor to the failed Projekt Flüssiges Fleisch, as it takes much of the baseline research regarding the cultivation and implementation of anomalous parasitic/viral/bacterial entities into a living human host in order to create a human/anomaly hybrid soldier for use in both domestic and inter-planetary conflicts. It has been confirmed that Projekt Elektroschaf involved a genetically modified strain of SCP-███ instances that is non-contagious, has a 4.5x increase in manifestation rate in humans (most notably in persons of African, Asian, and Slavic ethnicity), and a near zero change to human cognitive functions following full manifestation of symptoms. How this was achieved by The PFV is currently unknown to The Foundation, but further testing of SCP-███ in our own reality has been [DATA EXPUNGED].

02/11/1970: On the 5-year anniversary of the WFE’s Monderkundungsmission 1-3, The WFE’s Monderkundungsmission 2-1 launches a total of 30 Kosmische Seeleuteon a mission to land upon the lunar surface and colonize the lunar surface for The GDR. The launch takes place outside of ██████████, Cuba and utilizes the new, and much larger, Gesellenklasse-3 rocketship to carry out the mission. At 1200 local time, The WFE launch the vessel without issue.

02/13/1970: The crew of the Monderkundungsmission 2-1 successfully land on the lunar surface and enter the Mondaußenposten left behind by the crew of the Monderkundungsmission 1-3 near the lunar North Pole. Further expansion and improvement of the Mondaußenposten begin at this time to convert it fully into the first lunar mikrokolonie.

04/18/1970: KS. Oliver Buchtel becomes the first human death on the Moon, after an electrical malfunction in his spacesuit causes it to suddenly depressurize, killing him almost instantly. He is buried under the lunar surface with full honors as requested by Rudolf von Hitler.

06/02/1970: KS. Gertrud Wassermann becomes the first woman to become pregnant on the Moon. The WFE requests that she is monitored at all times and data regarding her pregnancy is to be documented and sent back to Earth for further research of how human life is effected on the lunar surface.

07/19/1970: A WFE resupply craft lands on the lunar surface, extending the Monderkundungsmission 2-1 length from 1 year to 1.5 years.

1971 - 1980:

04/11/1971: KS. Gertrud Wassermann becomes the first woman to give birth on the lunar surface. Her daughter, Aysen Wassermann, is examined over the course of 3 days following her birth. She is declared to be completely healthy²⁶ by on-site medical staff.

08/03/1971: 15 Crew members²⁷, along with the now ~4mo old Aysen Wassermann, of the Monderkundungsmission 2-1 successfully and safely land in the Northern Atlantic Ocean off the coast of ██████, Portugal.

01/19/1973: Rudolf von Hitler, aged 28 at this time, is assassinated by a single rifle bullet (determined to be 6.5x52mm in the following autopsy) fired through his bedroom window during a vacation at the Kaiserbeobachtungsstelle (Emperor Observatory) located ~██km North of █████████, Alaska. A manhunt for the assassin is conducted by the SS, but no perpetrator is ever officially brought to justice²⁸.

01/20/1973: Heinrich Himmler, Hermann Göring, Joseph Goebbels, and Reinhard Heydrich assume emergency joint-control over all GDR proceedings and operations.

02/11/1973: Hermann Göring passes away from a sudden brain aneurysm in his sleep at age 80. Edda Göring, aged 35 at this time, immediately takes his place in the GDR.

03/01/1973: The first and only major reconstruction of the GDR takes place over a 1.5 month span. The end result was of 3 major branches of government: the Reichsstaat (RS) (State Of The Empire), Kaiserlischützer (KS) (Imperial Protectors), and the PFV. The SS is split between the R.S. and the K.S., and the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, and Kriegsmarine, consolidated under the banner of the KS though still retaining most of their original structure. The WFE is consolidated into the RS The PFV’s Reinhard Heydrich steps down from his position as Forschungs Kommandant as he hands the reins over to Edda Göring. Heinrich Himmler takes over the RS and the entire SS, while Joseph Goebbels takes over the KS. Now known colloquially as “Die Großen Drei” (The Big Three), Edda Göring, Heinrich Himmler, and Joseph Goebbels are given the title of “Kaiserkommandeur” (Imperial Commander).

03/05/1973: Both the official state funerals for Hermann Göring and Rudolf Von Hitler take place in █████ ██████, Germany. It is noted that Edda Göring is seen wearing her father’s Held Des Imperiums Medal (a possible instance of SCP-███) from this point onward.

10/15/1973: The first of the “Kaiserstädte” (Imperial Cities) begins construction in the ruins of ██████████, ██., USA.

04/09/1974: The WFE’s lunar mikrokolonie finishes the final expansion, now encompassing the entire North Pole of the Moon. The base is officially named “Erste Stufe Festung” (ESF) (First Step Fortress).

06/22/1974: The WFE begins work on the “Marsmensch-Erkundungsmission 1-1” (Martian Exploration Mission 1-1) at the ESF.

03/19/1975: The PFV’s Projekt Elektroschaf is considered to be a success by the GDR, as the KS unveils the first wave of “Loyalistenklasse Soldaten²⁹” (Loyalist Class Soldiers) to the public. They are deployed across all three Productions Kolonien as well as to the ESF.

01/11/1976: The PFV begins work on the “Unendliche Adler-Kampagne” (Infinite Eagle Campaign), under direct supervision of Edda Göring, Heinrich Himmler, and Joseph Goebbels. While details on this project are extremely limited, it is understood that it involved hundreds, possibly thousands, of enslaved reality benders being forcibly converted into either “Hochklasse” (High Class) or “Niedrigklasse” (Low Class) biological computers or rudimentary reality anchors. Based on the limited information present, this process rendered the subjects into a “lobotomite-like state” that allows PFV researchers to manipulate and focus the powers of these individuals towards a single/several specific objective(s). The objective of this campaign, as understood by The Foundation, is to facilitate the GDR to both observe and enter parallel dimensions at will.

03/01/1978: The WFE launches the crew of 50 Kosmische Seeleuteon on the Marsmensch-Erkundungsmission 1-1 from the ESF towards Mars using the new “Kolonieschiff-1” (Colony Ship-1) spacecraft.

04/13/1978: The Marsmensch-Erkundungsmission 1-1 lands on the Martian surface. KS Isaac Schildknecht becomes the first man to set foot on the surface of Mars.

06/08/1978: The first human colony on Mars, known as the “Festungshorizont” (FS) (Fortress Horizon) finishes construction.

12/07/1978: Heinrich Himmler, aged 78, passes away in his sleep at his Summer estate in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland. The cause of death is determined to be simply “natural causes” by the GDR.

12/08/1978: A man known as Alfred Fisch is appointed to replace Heinrich Himmler as in accordance with Himmler’s last will and testament.

12/12/1978: The state funeral for Heinrich Himmler takes place in █████ ██████, Germany. Alfred Fisch, Joseph Goebbels, and Edda Göring are all in attendance. It is noted that Alfred Fisch is seen wearing Heinrich Himmler’s Held Des Imperiums Medal (a second possible instance of SCP-███) from this point onward.

05/02/1979: The “Kaiserliche Raumfahrzeugflotte” (Imperial Spacecraft Fleet) is officalized by the WFE and KS.

01/20/1980: The GDR announces that the entire month of February will be sanctioned as “Schnittzeit” (Pruning Season), in which all persons deemed to be “abgelaufen” (expired) are to be euthanized and disposed of en masse via cremation/incineration facilities known as “entsorgungsanlagen³⁰” (disposal facilities). Those deemed to be abgelaufen are either elderly (deemed age 75 onward by the GDR), mentally disabled, terminally ill, or otherwise not considered “healthy” by human medical standards.

1981 - 1990:

03/30/1981: The Unendliche Adler-Kampagne experiences their first success following the capture of 19.48 seconds of footage and audio of the attempted assasination of U.S. President Ronald Reagan by John Hicknly Jr. from the universe now designated SCP-XXXX-A█. The recorded time of this footage being produced in SCP-XXXX-A1 is within ██.██ seconds of the time Ronald Reagan was shot in our own universe.

04/18/1981: The last remaining SCP-████ specimen is hunted down and killed somewhere in the Himalayan Mountain Range by Waffen SS troops under PFV command. The body is acquired for “dissection and processing”.

11/14/1981: The final of 5 total Kaiserstädte officially finishes construction in ███ █████, India. These mega-cities are estimated to have a population capacity of █-██.█ billion each. Despite being “officially” complete by this time, observations made by ATF-Rose-1 have shown that expansion projects are seemingly persistent, with the Earth of SCP-XXXX-A1 estimated to be approximately 7█.██% covered by cities.

03/10/1982: A WFE satellite armed with three ███ Mt yield thermonuclear warheads is launched from the ESF towards the entity known to The Foundation as SCP-██ as an experiment conducted by the PFV. All warheads were detonated at a distance of ██km from SCP-███. In the following 3█ hours, the Sun [DATA EXPUNGED]. This resulted in [DATA EXPUNGED]. Once the effects ceased, all further testing of this nature was immediately suspended by order of the RS. This event is known colloquially as “Der Schrei Der Sonne” (The Scream Of The Sun).

06/14/1982: The WS unveils the “Zerstäubergewehr Z.82” (Atomizer Rifle No.82) and issues them to the Waffen-SS Abteilung Panzerautomaten for use in the Productions Kolonien for both quelling civilian unrest as well as clearing heavy debris in search-and-rescue operations.

06/01-15³¹/1984: The PFV’s Unendliche Adler-Kampagne experiences a breakthrough discovery, as it is observed that between 42-47% of observable nearby universes are under global Soviet control. Furthermore, it is observed that in most of these Soviet-controlled Earths, the Soviets are seen as an occupying/invading force rather than a social norm. This discovery prompts an emergency meeting between high-ranking members of the PFV, KS, and WS regarding how to proceed with this information. This meeting results in the creation of the PFV‘s clandestine “Abteilung Adleraugen” (AA) (Eagle Eye Division). This division would go on to specialize in trans-dimensional observation, infiltration, and assasination missions for the GDR.

09/10/1985: Joseph Goebbels, aged 88, is found hanged by the ceiling in his office located in █████ ██████, Germany with a freshly penned will left on his desk. His death is offically ruled a suicide, and old age to the public, but the case of his death is still open internally within the KS.

09/13/1985: The state funeral for Joseph Goebbels is held in █████ ██████, Germany. His successor, a man by the name of Sebastian Schillinger, attends the funeral alongside Alfred Fisch and Edda Göring as the new Kaiserkommandeur of the KS. It is noted that Sebastian Schillinger is seen wearing Joseph Goebbels’s Held Des Imperiums Medal (a third and final possible instance of SCP-███) from this point onward.

11/18/1985: The PFV’s Unendliche Adler-Kampagne discovers the universe now known as SCP-XXXX-B1 during a standard observational period, and subsequently that this Earth is the homeworld of the opposing Soviet forces known as the “Истинный социалистический союз” (ICC) (True Socialist Union). An emergency meeting between the PFV, KS, and RS takes place, and 24 hour surveillance of the ICC is enacted from this point forward. Furthermore, at least █ AA squadrons are sent into SCP-XXXX-B1 for further observation and research.

01/29/1986: A small population of alien life forms are found near the Northern base of Olympus Mons by WFE colonists on Mars.

02/07/1986: All known alien lifeforms are eradicated from Mars. The bodies are transported back to the FS.

07/24/1986: An anomalous meteorological event occurs over ██████, Greece following a PFV experiment of unknown means and purpose. The only description of this event, a testimony from a surviving PFV field agent, describes it as, quote:

“…a horrific dance of lightning and waves along the coastline. The sea swept away many of our boats, and all aircraft had to divert course lest they be struck down by the sudden storm. I don’t know what happened that day, but all I can say for certain is that we were not welcome.”

05/22/1988: The PFV successfully sythesises an “umbrella amnestic” (an amnestic that can function as all forms of currently known amnestic classes based on either dosage or potency, in theory) for use in their programs and research. It is named “Gedankenmanipulation Spritze” (GMS) (Mind Manipulation Injection).

03/16-31³²/1989: A security breach occurs within the PFV’s DAS headquarters located in ███ ███████, ██. USA. A security team is dispatched, and a man by the name of Alexi Baranov is apprehended attempting to escape with an unknown amount of classified data. Upon interrogation, it is discovered that Alexi Baranov was one of several agents sent by the ICC under the mission of, quote: “…obtaining any and all information regarding trans-dimensional travel, communications, and observation known by the Global German Empire.” Furthermore, it is revealed that Alexi Baranov is not from SCP-XXXX-B1, but rather the universe now known as SCP-XXXX-B██.

04/03/1989: The PFV begins work on “Das Endgültige Erweiterungsprojekt” (The Final Expansion Project) in conjunction with the KS. The goal of this project is to mimic the ICC’s conquering of nearby universes in order to establish a trans-dimensional empire to compete with the ICC itself.

01/08/1990: A group of █ ICC agents are caught attempting to enter the Kaiserstädte located in ██████████, ██, USA. They are automatically terminated by SS Panzerautomaten before they can be interrogated.

1991 - 1999:

12/13/1991: A GDR cargo ship known as the “Stahldame” (Steel Maiden) ferrying weapons and munitions across the Atlantic Ocean from Europe to North America is sunk after the on-board nuclear reactor suddenly begins a meltdown following a brief power outage. 5██ Members of the Kreigsmarine are killed in the resulting explosion, and an investigation into the incident is conducted by the RS. Upon recovery of the bodies, █ individuals are found to not be members of the Kriegsmarine, but rather are found to be ICC saboteurs.

12/15/1991: An emergency meeting is held between Sebastian Schillinger, Alfred Fisch, and Edda Göring regarding the sinking of the Stahldame and the ICC. A vote is held, and with a unanimous verdict, the GDR secretly declares war against the ICC and all worlds held by the opposing empire. The KS, RS, and PFV shift all their efforts towards this clandestine war from this point forward.

4/16/1992: After several months of observation, the GDR decided upon a nearby universe, now known as SCP-XXXX-A2, to invade. Preparations for this invasion begin in the following days.

10/01/1992: The GDR begins the invasion of SCP-XXXX-A2 by detonating █ nuclear warheads (each estimated to be at least ███ Mt in yield) simultaneously in key capital cities across the globe. A ground invasion by KS forces follows.

10/07/1992: The UN, NATO, GOC, and SCP Foundation of SCP-XXXX-A2 all surrender to the overwhelming GDR forces, thus ending the conflict and transferring complete global control to the GDR. Worldwide celebrations occur across SCP-XXXX-A1 once this news is announced publicly the next day. October 7th is declared as the “Tag Des Ersten Schritts” (Day Of The First Step) by the RS.

10/18/1992: Riding off of their first major victory in the conquering of SCP-XXXX-A2, the GDR begins planning several other invasions of nearby universes, notably of SCP-XXXX-A█ and A█.

08/01-15³³/1993: The GDR successfully invades and conquers SCP-XXXX-A█ to A██ with the same tactics used on SCP-XXXX-A█. SCP-XXXX-A█ however is noted by GDR documents to be, quote:

“…devoid of all surface life, with only 6 species of bacteria found to remain within the soil. Likely the result of a mutually-destructive nuclear war sometime in the 1960’s…”³⁴

It is unknown what exactly occurred, but it is theorized by Foundation researchers that SCP-XXXX-A█ is the result of an escalated Cold War scenario in which the proxy wars waged between the USA and USSR reached a “boiling point”, resulting in a global nuclear war.

12/31/1993: By this point in time, it is noted by the RS that the ICC control ██ worlds, while the GDR hold only ██. An effort is then made by the GDR to stockpile more auxiliary planets in the highly-possible case of a homeworld invasion. SCP-XXXX-A█ and A█ are the first worlds considered as retreating points for the KS, RS, and PFV high command in the event of a successful ICC invasion. Furthermore, a yearly quota of conquered “Zurückgewonnene Welten” (ZW) (Reclaimed Worlds) is set at 10 by the RS.

06/07/1994: The GDR successfully invade and conquer SCP-XXXX-A██ following a particularly difficult month-long conflict between the GDR and SCP-XXXX-A██’s “Planetary Guardians”, which seem to have been formed by the UN, NATO, and GOC following an “[DATA EXPUNGED]” XK-Class Scenario that caused casualties estimated to be in the billions.

07/11/1995: The GDR successfully invade and conquer SCP-XXXX-A██, however this endeavor cost the GDR hundreds of thousands of KS troops (both volunteers and conscripted) due to the unexpected use of advanced paratechnology and several unknown anomalies by “The Great Davite Empire”. However, after approximately 4 months of conflict, SCP-XXXX-A██ was defeated by KS forces, with the remaining forces retreating into, to quote GDR documents:

“…an unknown entity or vessel they called ‘The Womb Of Knowledge’ before leaving this plane of existence…”

It is generally accepted by The Foundation that “The Womb Of Knowledge” is in fact a version of ███ ██████████ ███████, if not the same one known to The Foundation and █████████ ████.

09/17/1995: SCP-XXXX-A██ experiences a global-scale outbreak of an unknown anomalous bacteria from a PFV laboratory located in █████, Egypt. This leads to approximately 8█%-9█% of the global population evolving into [DATA EXPUNGED] over a period of 9█ hours from the first “evolutionsereignis” (evolution event). This leads to the GDR enacting the first of several “Weltweite Notfallbereinigung” (WN) (Emergency World Cleansing) events. SCP-XXXX-A32 is now considered a “Todeswelt” (World Of Death) by the GDR.

06/01/1997: By this point in time, it is noted by the RS that the ICC control a total of 1█ worlds, while the GDR hold only ██. Thus, the GDR further raise their yearly (based on SCP-XXXX-A1’s timescale) quota from a minimum of 10 ZW to a minimum of 15. Furthermore, it is argued by Kaiserkommandeur Edda Göring that if the GDR finds that a world is unsuitable for becoming a ZW, but can still be used (specifically regarding the ICC), then said world should be subjected to a WN in order to prevent resources falling to enemy control. Following a unanimous vote by “The Big Three”, this is agreed upon and folded into future strategy.

03/07/1999: The GDR enact WN upon SCP-XXXX-A██, A██, and A██ due to all three worlds becoming an apparent “detriment” to the GDR’s trans-universal resource chain.

05/16/1999: The WFE officially announces that the Martian atmosphere has been reformed by PFV paratechnology to now compose of ~22% oxygen, ~70% nitrogen, ~0.06% carbon dioxide, and ~8% other breathable gasses. This now allows Mars to be fully colonized by the GDR without the need for artificial human habitation.

08/01/1999: The first Martian Kaiserstädte begins construction on the Southern Pole of Mars.

2000 - Present Day:

01/01/2000: The GDR celebrates the new millennium throughout SCP-XXXX-A1 and their multitude of trans-dimensional colonies.

04/14/2001: The GDR’s total trans-dimensional population exceeds one trillion people. How this is calculated by the GDR is currently unknown to The Foundation at this time, but it is theorized that the GDR utilizes a combination of genetic-identification as well as highly-advanced artificial intelligence to achieve such a statistical understanding within their empire.

11/18/2001: The WFE launches █ separate deep-space reconnaissance satellites from the Martian surface (within SCP-XXXX-A1) in order to find other habitable planets the GDR can colonize within their primary universe in the event that the Sol solar system becomes inhabitable or otherwise compromised.

01/01/2004: By this point in time, it is noted by the RS that the ICC control a total of 1██ worlds, while the GDR holds 1██. This is the first, and only recorded, instance in which the GDR holds more ZW than the ICC.

03/22/2007: SCP-XXXX-A███ experiences an HK-Class “Deific Subjugation Scenario”, in which [DATA EXPUNGED], however, despite the near crippling losses, the GDR managed to use a reality-bending entity currently unknown to The Foundation in order to revert reality to its previous state within SCP-XXXX-A███. The only understood reason that this event had been recorded to have occurred at all is due to a file detailing the events prior to the reality reversion having appeared in the electronic records of the PFV within SCP-XXXX-A1.

08/19/2008: The universe known as SCP-XXXX-B███ is suddenly, and violently, sterilized of all biological life across the known universe (an XK-Class “Universal Sterilization Scenario”). Based on GDR reports, this event occurred at some point between ██:█3:08 and ██:█3:41 due to several recovered timepieces taken, along with a wide range of objects taken back to SCP-XXXX-A1 for study by the PFV. The cause of this event is unknown, however, due to the presence of GDR forces on SCP-XXXX-B███ shortly following this event, the ICC prepare for a possible direct conflict with the GDR. Thankfully, due to a miscommunication error within the ICC, the “cold war” going “hot” between the rival empires is narrowly avoided as the GDR extract from SCP-XXXX-B███ shortly before the information of their presence reaches SCP-XXXX-B1.

01/20/2010: By this point in time, it is noted by the RS that the ICC control a total of 2██ worlds, while the GDR holds 1██. At this point, the GDR and ICC are considered by Foundation researchers to be at a “soft limit” in regards to each group’s power both in terms of military and territorial might. Thus, this point is considered the “degradation point” of the stalemate, meaning that unless one empire is dissolved by an outside party/parties, then a “hot war” is inevitable.

06/06/2016: The RS, KS, and PFV begin actively plotting plans to invade ICC territories.

10/01/2017: The RS receive word from AA agents within SCP-XXXX-B1, B█, and B██, that the ICC is actively plotting plans to invade GDR territories.

01/██/20██: SCP-XXXX is discovered by independent contractors in ██████████, ██ within our universe.

Agent Sword: *Agent Sword gives no verbal response. His eyes can be seen darting between Dr. Collins and the security camera’s lense.*

Dr. C██████: Good afternoon Agent, I see the return trip was mostly without incident.

Agent Sword: Yeah. Yeah just about.

Dr. C██████: Excellent. Now, how was your time within SCP-XXXX-A1? Going through the data you six managed to recover in such a short span is not only remarkable, but also unbelievably concerning.

Agent Sword: *Takes a deep breath, seeming to compose himself before speaking.*

Agent Sword: I would be one to agree with that notion, Sir. As for our time inside the anomaly… Well, getting in was… painless, really. Like stepping through a long, dark, doorway that feels like you’re swimming in gelatin. Once we touched down, it was almost silent. No signs of contact, no animals, no wind. Just the humm of some vents and buzzing of lights. Fuck, that buzzing.

Dr. C██████: I see. So you entered into the old subway tunnels, grouped up, and headed North-Northwest to an access tunnel. This correct?

Agent Sword: Yes sir.

Dr. C██████: Following, you climbed up an access ladder for—

Agent Sword: 1.327 klicks. Of pure ladder. Yes sir, it was not a fun commute either way.

Dr. C██████: I see. So you broke the surface into the… Kaiserstädte? Am I pronouncing this correctly?

Agent Sword: Ja.

Dr. C██████: It says here that you first encountered a, to quote your colleague Agent Breach, “A Clockwork Nazi”?

Agent Sword: One of the small ones, yes sir.

Dr. C██████: Would you elaborate?

Agent Sword: Well, they are reminiscent of SS Stormtroopers from the second World War. Though distinctly, how you say, streamlined? Simplified? Efficient, I suppose. Hard to describe. They were covered, top to bottom, with no skin exposed. Though they have none to hide.

Dr. C██████: And you managed to neutralize two in this encounter, is that correct?

Agent Sword: Yes. Hound tackled one to the ground immediately as it had been alerted of our position near the surface entrance. I dispatched the second with multiple rounds from my sidearm, though lucky for us we’d find that live fire is relatively common throughout the streets of this hell-scape.

Dr. C██████: Common?

Agent Sword: You see sir, there is a… zero tolerance for “dissidents” or “undesirables” within the GDR.

Dr. C██████: I see. Continue, please.

Agent Sword: Hound managed his with a crowbar. This made it easy to note the problem given the lack of blood. Or flesh. It was almost robotic, but it was off. The light in their eyes, or lenses, or whatever— it went out once we had them down. Not like anything I’ve seen; it was almost human. Just gears, and clockwork, and hydraulics, and all sorts of nonsense that just somehow made sense. We managed to drag the bodies back and send them back down the way we came. Told Shield back at the FOB after the fact and they still hit the ground another twenty seconds later.

Agent Sword: *Shakes his head, as if ridding himself of the thought.*

Dr. C██████: Understood. How long did you stay on the lower surface?

Agent Sword: Only a few hours. We couldn’t risk getting lost in the tunnels. For better or worse the lower levels don’t get sunlight, so we had to rely on our night vision or just a pure sense of direction on many occasions. Couldn’t risk getting lost. At least any more than we had already, sir.

Dr. C██████: You had already gotten lost?

Agent Sword: No, I stayed put and on guard while Shield was setting up the FOB. Hound on the other hand wished to go “spelunking” in the old tunnels. Dr. C██████: And you didn’t feel a need to put that in your report?

Agent Sword: There’s a lot I couldn’t fit in the report. When you work with these people— Hound especially— you have to learn that you can only guide them rather than tell them what to do. It’s a method that produces positive results in the field. For the most part.

Agent Sword: *He looks down at his left hand, turning it over to look at the large bullet wound scar in the center of both sides of his hand. He is silent for 12 seconds.*

Dr. C██████: Did Hound gather any information from this excursion? Anything further that you failed to report to me?

Agent Sword: *Chews on his tongue for a few moments, visibly deep in thought.*

Agent Sword: To tell you the truth, no. Surprising for him, as he tries to "find the gold in every wire", as he will put it. He seemed to be… Uneasy, once he returned. He didn't talk a whole lot the rest of the day, which isn't unusual for him. Though I have a feeling that the air of unrest around him was just a crack in the mask of professionalism. We were all scared. How couldn't you be? Wandering into the den of evil that, in a place not too far away, you once called home for so long. It's something I wouldn't wish upon even the worst of my foes, sir. Like a bastardization of one's own self.

Dr. C██████: And you trust Hound's word on this account? He will be questioned privately, for the record.

Agent Sword: *Leans back in his chair, smiling at Dr. C██████,*

Agent Sword: I trust him with my soul, sir. We are a team. Without trust, we cannot do the job for which you selected us to do.

Dr. C██████: I see. I don't think it would be right to say I understand, but it's not unreasonable. However, if I may, was this… “intuition” if you will, a factor on your fourth expedition to the open—

Agent Sword: Nein.

Dr. C██████: Would you care to elaborate for the record?

Agent Sword: Do I have a choice?

Dr. C██████: *No response.*

Agent Sword: *Leans forward, biting at his thumb with visible discomfort.*

Agent Sword: On our fourth expedition into the city it was just myself, Hammer, and Angel. We had found our way to what passes as “the surface”. Only indication is the slivers of sky that peek between the walkways if you look at just the right angle. Even an occasional breeze finds its way below. Though I can’t necessarily claim it was fresh air.

Agent Sword: *Begins to fidget at an increasingly frequent rate, pausing longer between sentences, and holding no eye contact with Dr. C██████ for an extended period.*

Agent Sword: It was late. Sun was gone, streetlights up, patrols on what passed as “high” alert. We had cobbled together some stolen GDR maps alongside the ones we sketched in the field. Our objective was to locate and gain a vantage point on an SS outpost a few klicks South of our FOB. At first it wasn’t difficult. The clockwork boys only have so much in the way of situational awareness. Though I just thought we were pretty good at our jobs. At least until… that behemoth.

Dr. C██████: The “Panzerautomaten”, I presume. The one that—

Agent Sword: *Suddenly grips the table, locks eyes with Dr. C██████, and begins yelling*.

Agent Sword: Turned my friend into paste? Took his fucking body, flattened it on the pavement, and wiped it off it’s iron boot? Like he was just a fucking nuisance!? That one you sorry son of a bitch?

Agent Angel: Productive, prior to a few days ago. Death tends to dampen success.

Dr. C██████: *Nods slowly.*

Dr. C██████: I was troubled to hear of Breach’s passing. I know my words ring hollow to you all, but they are sincere.

Agent Angel: *Leans forwards towards the microphone.*

Agent Angel: His name was █████████. ███. ███████. For the record.

Dr. C██████: *Sighs deeply, pushing up his glasses as he fidgets uncomfortably with his paperwork.*

Dr. C██████: And he will be dearly missed. Now lets go over your bullet points so we can both wrap this up.

Agent Angel: *Leans back, eyeing Dr. C██████ intensely. Does not break eye contact for approximately 20 seconds.*

Dr. C██████: So, upon reentry you found your way back to the FOB. Everything left undisturbed— always a good sign I suppose. Reestablished your position, made your way to the surface, and then yourself, Hound, and Breach started your way immediately towards the topside. Any particular reason for the immediate departure?

Agent Angel: We were making great time, had to keep up that pace. Effizienz; das liegt mir im Blut. (Efficiency; it’s in my blood.)

Dr. C██████: I see. So you three set up, where exactly?

Agent Angel: *Rolls her neck. Three popping noises are heard on the audio recording simultaneously*

Agent Angel: In a tiny little corner, in a high tower, overlooking the nightmare brought by my kin’s doing. It was high up on the surface. One of the many concrete stalagmites they call buildings was in disrepair. We found a room with a view, and set up camp. The soldiers don’t typically go into the towers, and definitely not any of the big ones. We did have a few sightings of aerial drones, though they seemed to not be after us. We were flies on a wall of shit. I’ve seen things out of my wildest dreams and nightmares. The amount of raw observation alone would be worth the trip. Hell, you’ve seen some of the footage, Ja?

Dr. C██████: *Chews on his tongue a moment before looking over his glasses at Agent Angel.*

Dr. C██████: Bits and pieces, at least before the 05 had it sent to the archives and away from such… prying eyes, I suppose. Though, I had my hands quite busy with that lovely present you lot sent our way.

Agent Angel: That good, ja?

Dr. C██████: *Nods.*

Agent Angel: Well it better be. That intel is soaked with his blood, so it’s worth no less than priceless.

Dr. C██████: *Is silent for a few moments.*

Dr. C██████: Where did it go wrong?

Agent Angel: In the field? I’d say when Breach didn’t check his corners on the way out of the SS outpost. He wanted to rush it, we got sloppy, he died. In general, it went wrong when you came up with this plan three months ago.

Dr. C██████: *Tightens his jaw, visibly forcing a neutral facial expression.*

Dr. C██████: Please answer the question with a modicum of professionalism, ███████.

Agent Angel: *Her eyes flick to the security camera, as she sits up straighter, placing her folded hands on the table.*

Agent Angel: The flaw came after we had already tapped their servers, on our way out. We had the security system disabled, avoided the guards, and left practically no trace. Hound managed to hijack a severed arm of one of those clock-men a few days prior. Less hacking and more puppeteering. I lent him some of my instruments so he could tune the grip he had scrounged up and slapped on the raw end. Clever dog always has new tricks. Could’ve been a perfect job. Alas, Breach got cocky. He rounded a corner, a guard was headed right towards his position, and before he could even raise his weapon he was down. I finished the thing off, but by then it was too late. Hound dragged him back a ways, but couldn’t bring him back to the FOB. We found a suitable alley and initiated protocol from there. He wanted to stay and make sure it burned. I had to drag him off before the guards started swarming. The rest I believe you know.

Dr. C██████: *Finishes taking a few notes before looking back up towards Agent Angel.*

Dr. C██████: That would be correct. Thank you for—

Agent Angel: *Stands up before Dr. C██████ can finish speaking. She gives a nod to Dr. C██████ before quietly exiting the room.*

We have, in both excursions, lost a member of ATF-Rose-1 to GDR forces in the efforts of data acquisition. Dr. C██████: Vices can wait when there is work to be done my friend. Now, you four seem to have had a very productive excursion this last time. You made record time, little over three weeks, and came home with more homework than many of my researchers have seen since university. Good work.

Agent Shield: *Cocks his eyebrow following the compliment.*

Agent Shield: Don’t thank me, thank them. I just hold down the fort in that concrete cavern. Hetzen is the true hero here. Without him all you would have is a few encrypted hunks of circuitry.

Dr. C██████: I suppose. Though they don’t seem to want any words from my tongue. Regardless… While I did request to speak with you following this most recent excursion, I was surprised to hear you were actually requesting it yourself. Specifically you noted that you had a few things for the record that you wished to express? Is this correct?

Agent Shield: *Glances at the security camera, and then at his reflection in the two-way glass.*

Agent Shield: I presume they aren’t listening?

**Dr. C██████:* //*Continues writing notes, not acknowledging Shield for 10 seconds.*

Dr. C██████: Depends on who “they” are. If you mean The Council, the magnitude of this project is too high of a priority for them to—

Agent Shield: *Leans forward, whispering in a low tone.*

Agent Shield: I mean the rest of Rose-1. And I always presume that "they" are listening regardless if we want it or not.

Dr. C██████: *Narrows his eyes, quickly scanning the room.*

Dr. C██████: They shouldn’t be. May I ask why this is a present concern for you, Agent?

Agent Shield: Something isn’t right between those three. They aren’t the same people I trained with, Doctor. These excursions have changed them up here, and in here.

Agent Shield: *Brings his finger to his forehead, and then to the center of his chest.*

Agent Shield: It’s been going on ever since the incident with Hammer. Then it got worse after Breach. I just thank whatever counts for a God that we didn’t lose anyone else. Though I think the damage has been done.

Dr. C██████: *Scribbles a few lines of notes on his clipboard.*

Dr. C██████: What are you implying, ███████? Since, if you wish to make any big claims, there better be evidence backing that up.

Agent Shield: That they may be compromised. I wish to formally request that no more excursions are made. I know it’s not my place to say, but I think if you send them out again you won’t be getting them back.

Dr. C██████: Compromised… Mentally? In terms of allegiance? What do you mean?

Agent Shield: *Fumbles in his shirt pocket for a cigarette packet. He places a cigarette in his mouth, lighting it with a zippo, and taking a short drag.*

Agent Shield: Yes. Perhaps. More? I don’t know. But it just can’t be fucking ignored anymore… Engle has become a shadow of the girl I knew. She was always a lively soul. We could be knee deep in water wading through a creek in full kit, and she could find something to enjoy about it. But now, she'd just become so… Hallow. Empty. Like she's been cored of a personality. She functions just fine— better, if I'm honest. But it's just not her. Schwert is simply about to snap. He's a corroding landmine, just waiting to be set off by some unsuspecting boundary overstep. And Hetzen… Oh mein Gott, I don't know how else to say this. That isn't Hetzen. He acts like a person, and the rest don't notice it. But I see it. I thought I was just looking too deep, but he just… Like he does not blink for long periods of time, or he does one thing for a little too long. His tone is smooth as silk, even when it shouldn't. It's him, but he's not in there anymore. I don't know how else to say it.

Dr. C██████: *Raises a hand in protest of the cigarette, but stops before saying anything as he is now intentsely listening. He looks down to the audio recorder on the table between them.*

"Following the third successful excursion within SCP-XXXX-A1, Agent ███ “Schwert” (Sword) █████ reported experiencing an intense pain near the base of his neck to Foundation medical staff. Upon examination, it was found that a small trans-dimensional tracking device had been implanted under Agent Sword’s skin and was actively transmitting data on his location. The device, now known as SCP-XXXX-C, was deactivated and sent to my team for further analysis. This alone is a cause for major concern regarding the safety of our own universe. Unfortunately this incident would not stand alone, as on ██████, March ██, 20██ at 1:██ UTC, the site of SCP-XXXX experienced a mass data breach resulting in over █,███ separate files being copied and/or extracted from our servers. Furthermore, the entrance to SCP-XXXX-A1 was found to be ajar by the security team upon arrival at the containment site, though due to the time the anomaly was in it’s ‘inert’ state, meaning no chase could be given even if it had been authorized. The security systems had been disabled by the perpetrator(s), and no evidence of their identity has been recovered so far in the investigation. However, my recent debriefing with Agent Shield brought to light several accusations that Agent Hound was some kind of doppelganger or that he was currently possessed by some entity. Such accusations are both sudden and quite high priority to investigate, so I quickly sent in a request for him to be brought into custody for evaluation and questioning. That night, the breach occurred, and Agent Hound was reported to be MIA. While we cannot confirm our suspicions at this time, Agent Hound is to be found and returned to Foundation custody at all costs, and alive if at all possible. This incident has now prompted a termination order for SCP-XXXX, and currently all resources are being implemented to carry out this task. Little progress has been made as of yet, but our efforts will continue, lest we be annihilated due to our willful ignorance."
