Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX has to be contained within a standard humanoid containment chamber at Site-88. If SCP-XXXX isn't observed within its containment chamber once a week, a containment breach is assumed. SCP-XXXX must be brought 400g of undefined meat only when in sight. SCP-XXXXs containment chamber can be accessed by a class-4 personnel or above with an eight number passcode that can be retrieved from the zone manager.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a human-like entity of unknown origin. SCP-XXXX has black scale-like skin, its body ends in the vertebrae before the pelvis. SCP-XXXX has plate and armor-like bone protruding from the face, the jaw, hands and digits, chest and back, and four roughly three meters long appendages protruding from the back, seemingly used to transverse on surfaces.

SCP-XXXX seems to be able to "fade out", making it completely invisible. SCP-XXXX fades in to sight inside its containment chamber approximately two to four times a week, change in this behavior must be reported immediately. SCP-XXXX seems to hunt prey by manifesting inside dreams to terrify the prey before waking them up and killing them immediately. SCP-XXXX seems to enjoy terrifying its prey. The reason for this behavior, and the way of manifestation is unknown.

SCP-XXXX was discovered because of multiple cases of people found dead in their beds, with multiple stab wounds consistent with four sharp objects about 1,4 centimeters in thickness and approximately 3,2 centimeters in length around the world.

The case was investigated by police from multiple countries, and the foundation got involved after multiple witnesses came fourth saying they've had terrible nightmares of a creature similar to the appearance to SCP-XXXX, the only difference being it "floating in midair". After this the witnesses said the creature staring at them, and trying to attack them. Profanities have been removed from the witness accounts.

Information: Michael ██████ reported being stalked and attacked by a "some black spider creature" at about 4:00 AM in his apartment in New york city, USA, after waking up from a nightmare containing the same creature. He had sustained injury, including a moderately injured left hand, a cut chest with a shallow cut, and a blooded nose. He has been given class-C amnestics, and treated properly.

Information: Daniel ████ reported being attacked by a "spider human with no legs" in his apartment in Espoo, Finland. He said the creature had stalked him from the roof for about two seconds before starting to approach after waking up at an undefined time. He sustained no injuries and has been administered amnestics.

Date of report: 11-8-2008

Information: Dores █████████ had reported an attack by a "spider demon" in his detached house in Lissabon, Portugal. She reported being attacked from above after a nightmare at approximately 3:00 AM. She sustained severe injury and was escorted to the emergency department after sustaining a severed left arm and a deep cut in the abdomen.

Information: Alfonse ███ had reported seeing a "strange spider creature" stalking him from the corner of his room and starting to walk towards him at 2:00 AM in Dijon, France. He stated "I started to get up and it started running, then i ran to the door and shut it behind me". He did not sustain injuries and was administered amnestics.

Date of report: 30-8-2008

Information: Teja █████ reported an account of an attack by a "black creature with spider legs and no feet" walking towards her after falling asleep on her computer while on a night shift in Rijeka, Croatia. She woke up seeing a creature running towards her. She sustained minor injuries, was administered amnestics and was given proper treatment.

SCP-XXXX was found █████ ███s apartment, SCP-XXXX was contained and all witnesses were administered amnestics.

Addendum XXXX-A: SCP-XXXXs bone structure appears to be gold, despite its durability being similar to other metals, due to no dents forming from bullets. Research is ongoing.

Addendum XXXX-B: SCP-XXXX seems to be vulnerable to blunt force impact. Development of a special containment machine for SCP-XXXX could be profitable.
