Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 1x1x1 meter heavy-duty vacuum-tight sealed plastic container on a pedestal within a standard containment chamber featuring an airlock at the entrance. It is to be guarded by two MTF Lambda-5 units at all times, who should stop any personnel attempting to access the containment chamber without proper Class-3 Clearance. At 14:00 every day, SCP-XXXX containment cell should be cleaned of any gravel, cement, or waste built up in the chamber. During cleaning, 9kg lead armor should be worn. If any personnel is touched with SCP-XXXX's ink or were found infected with SCP-XXXX-2, they shall be incinerated immediately. If any personnel is pulled into SCP-XXXX-1, little to no attempt to pull them back to our reality should be made.

Any personnel who have entered SCP-XXXX-1 must be evaluated for signs of infection. If tests for infection have proven positive, the individual shall be incinerated until a cure for the infection has been successfully developed. A containment breach involving SCP-XXXX will require an MTF Epsilon-9 squad sent to the immediate breach site.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a small, traditional wooden handle stamp measuring 8 x 5 x 8 centimeters. It has a seemingly endless supply of red ink. An imprint of this stamp on skin leaves a small design that states, "You did it!" with a cartoon sun smiling.

SCP-XXXX will spawn gravel or concrete from an orifice located on the back of the handle stamp. Once enough gravel or concrete has spawned to create a flat surface, SCP-XXXX will slightly nudge closer to this surface until it can stamp said surface, which will open a rectangular portal to SCP-XXXX-1. This portal has a strong pull and can pull persons wearing light clothes easily.

SCP-XXXX-1 is an alternate reality where a virus, further named SCP-XXXX-2, has run rampant and has taken out a large chunk of humanity in the area where the portal opened. Drone footage has confirmed that the area is Cortland, New York. It is unknown if this is the area where SCP-XXXX-2 originated. It is not known how SCP-XXXX-2 started or where, but being stamped by SCP-XXXX on your neck transmits the virus.

When SCP-XXXX-2 infects a victim (victim will be furthered referred to as SCP-XXXX-3), the following events will happen in chronological order:

  • First, SCP-XXXX-3's limbus will turn dark red or maroon. Depending on the victim's health before being infected, the victim might start shaking from high blood pressure.
  • After around twenty-four (24) hours, red ink will appear on the primary hand of SCP-XXXX-3.
  • After about forty-eight (48), a scar will appear on the neck of SCP-XXXX-3 resembling a sun. The position of this scar on the neck seems to be random.
  • After three (3) to thirty (30) days, the victim will experience spontaneous human combustion and die.

Symptoms include the following in no specific order:

  • Slowed and slurred speech
  • Lack of hunger
  • Crooked walk
  • Hostility after a few days.

After around three days, SCP-XXXX-3 will attempt to hit a non-infected persons' neck with the back of their hand. This will spread the virus. It is unknown if this is an uncontrollable spasm or not.

Recovery:
SCP-XXXX was discovered at ██████████, █████ on August █, 20██. in a third-grade classroom after custodians working at the school went missing trying to discover where gravel spawning in the room overnight was coming from. When the teacher of the classroom was questioned, he admitted he had just bought the stamp four days ago and had not yet used it, as he said the school that SCP-XXXX was located at was yet to start their school year. This was proven to be false, and it was found that two (2) students who were brothers had been stamped and infected a day earlier. The students were later terminated.

When the aforementioned teacher was questioned about where he bought the stamp, he says it was at a regular
