Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Description: SCP-XXXX is an eighteenth century wall hung mirror with a gold trim and several instances of different anomalies sculpted into the edges. SCP-XXXX is able to show whoever looks into it a location that they are aware of, and is seemingly random in its selection of what it shows. When the subject who first triggered SCP-XXXX looks into SCP-XXXX they will develop a strong urge to step closer to the mirror, if close enough black tendrils will extend from the trimming and pull the subject into SCP-XXXX, allowing for them to be visible in the mirror to anyone else looking at it. After a subject has been brought into SCP-XXXX. the subject can be seen bleeding from the eyes, and a look of terror upon their face, the mirror will break after five seconds of the subject being consumed, and SCP-XXXX will regenerate over a period of twenty four hours. If nobody is sent to SCP-XXXX within seventy two hours of its reform, then SCP-XXXX will move to any reflective surface within a five KM range.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be locked in a small unlit room at Site 32. No reflective surfaces of any kind are to be located in Site 32, this includes mirrors, poorly lit screens, cameras, etc., all glass at Site 32 is to be non reflective as well. Personnel with level three clearance or above may use SCP-XXXX for testing. As of Incident Alpha B nobody that is aware of the existence of SCP-106 is to be allowed access to SCP-XXXX.

Addendum

Incident Alpha B: During one of the first test on SCP-XXXX, a D Class whom had been transferred from Site █ following a breach involving SCP 106 was instructed to approach SCP-XXXX. When the subject gazed into SCP XXXX the mirror displayed a place of rot and decay, the subject immediately fell backwards and crawled away from SCP-XXXX, and SCP-106 began to emerge from the mirror. This caused a full breach of containment for SCP-106 and a site wide lock down. NTF unit Bravo Pi was sent in to recontain SCP-106 and transfer it back to Site █. Note; after this incident SCP-106 has been sculpted into the trim work of SCP-XXXX alongside many other known and unknown anomalies. This is the only case where a subject was not compelled to walk closer to SCP-XXXX.
