Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a medium size secure storage room. Two guards are to guard the room's door at all times. SCP-XXXX cannot be moved due to its active nature and possibility of containment breach. On dates which are a multiple of 20, there will be a SCP-XXXX-Alpha event from 0100 to 0300. Prior to the event, any personnel in the room must leave except for one d-class. All organic matter which remains in the room during the event will be completely destroyed. There is to be no attempt to contain any additional anomalies during the event, See experiment log XXXX-A for more information.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a three part machine, consisting of two instances of SCP-XXXX-1 ("The Generators"), and one instance of SCP-XXXX-2 ("The Container"). The generators are heavily modified Scranton reality anchors. The generators appear to not require power, as they siphon Hume particles from their surroundings, focusing the particles into a 3 centimeter wide beam. The generators are pointed towards two Hume particle input ports on the container, allowing the particle beams to enter into it. The container is a spherical object with four Hume particle input ports around its equator, and an access port on the top. Two of the Hume particle input ports are constructed of a translucent material, allowing viewing of the container's contents. The access port cannot be opened at this time due to a lock of unknown make. The generators and container appear to be made out of a high strength titanium steel. No metal sample has been taken from SCP-XXXX due to the possibility of a containment breach.
SCP-XXXX originally appeared with a computer running an unknown operating system. The computer is secured to the right generator. The computer has one apparent function, which is to record and allow access to logs stored internally. Shortly after SCP-XXXX was recovered, the computer was determined to be non-anomalous, but has an inherent connection with SCP-XXXX. The connection's source is unknown, but is most likely initiated by the container. Level 3 personnel and higher are allowed access at any time. Excerpts from some of the logs are saved in document-XXXX-24.
Prior to an SCP-XXXX-Alpha event on ██/██/████, a camera and a Hume detector were placed in the storage room. At approximately 0100, a fractal of indeterminate size appeared directly in front of SCP-XXXX. During this time, any organic matter in the room during the event when into a kind of stasis, and slowly withered until no organic molecules remain. The fractal disappeared approximately an hour after the start, at 0150. While the fractal was visible, the Hume levels in the room steadily rose from half the background to triple the background. The fractal also emitted approximately 37 MJ of ionizing radiation per second. The radiation was undetectable outside of the storage room, which is hypothesized to be a secondary effect of SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX was recovered on 21/03/1993 at the hour 0151, after the safe-class storage room it anomalously appeared in was locked and displaced. All objects stored in the room were found █ km away, in the garage of a nearby abandoned farmhouse. All items were completely untouched, and still remained in their original containment units.
Purpose: To determine the nature of the SCP-XXXX-Alpha fractal and the efficacy of its containment
Procedure: Prior to an event, the storage room is to be outfitted with an experimental fractal containment unit (The FCU). The FCU is to be placed directly under the position the fractal appears. Multiple cameras and hume detectors are to be installed around the room. When the fractal appears, the FCU is to be enabled to determine the fractal's dimensionality and source.
Results: The FCU was successful in preventing the fractal from altering the surrounding hume levels. Since the fractal could not alter the hume levels, the excess energy caused the fractal to emit 104 MJ of ionizing radiation per second. Approximately 5 minutes after containing the fractal, SCP-XXXX's radiation shield effect failed, immediately killing ██ personnel and causing ████ cases of severe radiation poisoning. The high levels of radiation disabled the FCU, allowing the fractal to resume raising the hume levels. The radiation also acted as an EMP, destroying all electronics within 20 meters, including the servers containing the footage and other measurements. Is it hypothesized the fractal is not part of SCP-XXXX, but is rather an addition from an unknown source to prevent a containment breach.
Researcher █████: All further research on the fractal is forbidden due to the possibility of a containment breach. Whatever is in this thing obviously shouldn't get out since this fractal exists.

The day we made it was a relatively normal day. Nothing breached containment, and our experiments didn't kill anyone. I was hoping we'd finally get the breakthrough discovery on SCP-#### (Meta: Some SCP that's a fractal, like the one Mister). We were trying to figure out why a 2.5 dimensional fractal was stable in 3 dimensions. Initially, we thought 'this is just another anomaly, no pattern to it, no explanation' but oh how we were wrong. I wish we had been wrong, maybe this monstrosity wouldn't exist then. That morning I was solving an equation which modeled the fractal's patterns, and I noticed that it was the same as the Hume particle models. Initially I was pretty shocked by this, as fractals and reality shouldn't share the same equations. As I thought about it though, it made sense: Hume particles are reality, fractals aren't reality. After this discovery, I tried to create a small fractal with a reality anchor. It worked, but it was 3 dimensional, not 2.5. It was also extremely unstable, disappearing once the anchor's power was cut.
After, my team and I figured we should modify the anchor to produce the same patterns as a fractal. As it turns out, fractals are similar to particles: Whenever they're created, you get a negative and a positive version. This was a pretty exciting discovery, we had solved the mystery of fractals. We wanted to go bigger, damn our hubris, so we increased the power. The standard reality anchors couldn't provide an extreme enough environment for what we wanted to do, so we modified two and created a containment chamber, similar to a metal forge. This time, it didn't make the two fractals, but we thought nothing of it. We made a completely stable single fractal - except it was a Hume void. The readings we got off the thing were on scales we've never seen before. It had created a zero Hume environment. This shouldn't be possible, but there it was, sucking up our reality. We tried to destroy it, but anything that went in the chamber immediately dissolved into the abyss. We couldn't disable the chamber, we'd immediately die. So we did what the Foundation does best, contain it and shove it in a box. We created a fractal which could siphon reality from everywhere and feed it to the vacuum. We killed our universe, and countless others.Dr. ███████ (Meta Note: I wanted this to be written by Dr. Scranton, but I'm not sure if that's a person or just a name)

Object Class: Thaumiel/Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: As of ██/██/2143, SCP-XXXX cannot be contained due to its distant location. Resources dedicated to SCP-XXXX are to be used to propagate a disinformation campaign in all major astrology-related institutions. Minor astrology-related institutions should be monitored by an on-site team through all available recording devices. The campaign should also be propagated in other institutions which have the capability of detecting SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX should be disguised as a super-massive black hole. If any questions regarding the lack of interstellar material surrounding SCP-XXXX, or its large isolation from stellar bodies arise, the questions should be answered in an imprecise way, citing random chance if pressed.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an interstellar object of unknown origin, approximately 4█,███ light years away from earth, between the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies. The closest stellar object to SCP-XXXX is 4.67 light years away from it. SCP-XXXX has been observed to absorb large amounts of energy1 within a radius of 5 kilometers. It has not been directly observed to absorb matter, due to its isolation, but its absorbtion is the most likely reason to its isolation. While SCP-XXXX behaves similar to a black hole, it has a much lower mass.
SCP-XXXX is constructed of two rings, the second nested inside the first. The first ring is 2█ meters in diameter, and the second is 1█ meters in diameter. While the rings match background hume levels, a 5 meter wide spherical area in the middle is completely absent of humes - a phenomenon previously thought to be impossible. SCP-XXXX often activates with no apparent cause, causing the two rings to rotate along the same axis, but in opposite directions. During activation, the spherical area returns to background hume levels. SCP-XXXX deactivates when the spherical area's hume levels return to zero, causing the rings to stop rotating. It is theorized that the rings act as containment for an object within SCP-XXXX which causes the low hume levels, but no there is no evidence towards the object's existence. The cause and effect relationship between the spherical area and the object's activation is unknown.
Addendum 1: On ██/██/2056, large breakthroughs in hume detection allow for an object's 'hume signature' to be measured. A hume signature can locate an object's absolute place of origin with an accuracy of █ kilometers. After scanning SCP-XXXX via a Foundation satellite in orbit around the object, SCP-XXXX has no discernable origin place within the current universe. No signs of space-time tearing are near SCP-XXXX, indicating that it did not appear in the universe via artificial means, but anomalous means have not been ruled out.
On ██/██/2124, SCP-XXXX was observed to activate during an XK-Class End-Of-World scenario, neutralizing the threat's anomalous characteristics permanently. A Class-5 Reality Bender was attempting to change the universal constants surrounding the earth into a configuration which is incompatible with the current universal constants. Seconds before the ritual was complete, SCP-XXXX activated, and the area surrounding the ritual and Reality Bender were surrounded by a zero-hume area similar to the area within SCP-XXXX. The zero-hume area neutralized all anomalous items permanently, including the Reality Bender. Once the anomalous characteristics were removed, the hume reducing effect instantly vanished. The previously anomalous items have no indication that they were once anomalous, and were destroyed after the incident.
Multiple XK-Class End-Of-World scenarios had taken place previous to this event, and SCP-XXXX had taken no action to prevent them.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid (Keter pending)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a secure storage room. To prevent a containment breach, SCP-XXXX cannot be moved. A level 3 Hume Engineer with an IQ of at least 130 is to be present within the room at all times. Two guards are to guard the room's entrance at all times. On dates which satisfy the equation $\sin\left(\frac{24\pi}{5329}x\right)=1$2, there will be a SCP-XXXX-Alpha event from the hours 0100 to 0300. During the SCP-XXXX-Alpha event, the engineer must leave the room. If the engineer remains in the room, they are to be considered KIA post-event and are not to be searched for after the event3.
Description: SCP-XXXX was recovered on ██/09/1995, after the safe-class storage room it now resides in was anomalously locked and displaced. All objects stored in the room were found █ km away, in the garage of a nearby abandoned farmhouse4. SCP-XXXX was discovered with a letter taped to SCP-XXXX-2, which is labelled as document-XXXX-31. SCP-XXXX is a three part machine, consisting of two instances of SCP-XXXX-1, and one instance of SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1 is a heavily modified Scranton reality anchor. SCP-XXXX-1 instances appear to not require power, as they siphon Hume particles from their surroundings, focusing the particles into a 3 centimeter wide beam. The two SCP-XXXX-1 instances are pointed towards two of the Hume-Theta ports on SCP-XXXX-2, allowing the particle beams to enter into SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 is a spherical object with four Hume-Theta ports around its equator (meta note: is that the right word?). Two of the Hume-Theta ports are constructed of a translucent material, allowing viewing of SCP-XXXX-2's contents. Currently, there is no known method of viewing SCP-XXXX-2's contents, as the highly increased Hume levels within it cause SCP-XXXX-2 to emit large amounts of visible and ionizing radiation. See Addendum 1 for more information.
During SCP-XXXX's standard containment testing on ██/10/1995, the only personnel in the room was a Hume Engineer with an IQ of 110. During this time, the right Hume particle beam emitted from SCP-XXXX-1 unfocused slightly, causing SCP-XXXX-2 to have slightly reduced Hume levels, allowing the engineer to see the contents of SCP-XXXX-2. The transcript of the engineer's interview is found in document-XXXX-64. After the event, it was determined that the SCP-XXXX-1 requires a sapient mind with knowledge of Hume physics to properly focus the Hume particle beams. Tests were conducted to determine the required intelligence, and it was determined that an IQ of 130 provides a large enough margin of error to properly contain SCP-XXXX5.
This machine has already destroyed 2081 timelines, can you [EXPLETIVE REDACTED] please keep people away when we have to maintain it? It's really not that hard, just get everyone out of our influence zone on $\sin\left(\frac{24\pi}{5329}x\right)=1$6 days! That's only what, 3 days a year? I'm sure you know what'll happen if we don't maintain it, wouldn't want him getting out, now would we.

Interviewer: Dr. ████
Interviewee: L3 Hume Engineer J████
Foreword: Immediately after the interview, Hume Engineer J████ went catatonic, most likely due to shock and the large amount of Hume radiation they were exposed to. Hume Engineer J████ has not yet recovered, and is considered brain-dead.
<BEGIN LOG>
Dr. ████: Please state your name for the record.
Hume Engineer J████: Level 3 Hume Engineer J████.
Dr. ████: Can you please state what you were doing prior to the event?
Hume Engineer J████: I was filling out my daily summary form. I was a little more tired than usual because [IRRELEVANT DIALOG REMOVED].
Hume Engineer J████: After I finished my form, I noticed the color of the right beam was slightly redder than normal.
Hume Engineer J████: I went to tell Researcher ████ about it, but my radio stopped working. I went to open the door, but the knob didn't even turn.
Hume Engineer J████: It took a minute, but the beam got more and more red, until it was pretty much purple. That's when I noticed the beam had started flaring out.
Hume Engineer J████: I'd never seen this before, and it wasn't anywhere in the SCP-XXXX document, so I figured I was [EXPLETIVE REDACTED] anyways. That's when I went to get a closer look at SCP-XXXX-2.
Hume Engineer J████: At first, I thought I imagined the face in there, but I'm sure there's a person in there. It wasn't quite looking at me, more like through me.
Hume Engineer J████: When I looked into its eyes, I think it talked to me - but not with sound. I think it used something like telepathy, but I might've imagined it. It told me that when it gets out it's going to [REDACTED] everyone, and that I was merely a stepping stone to our [DATA EXPUNGED].
Hume Engineer J████: After that, I blacked out, and I guess the guards found me a few hours later.
Dr. ████: Thank you for being cooperative, J████. You're dismissed on medical leave for a week.
<END LOG>
Closing Statement:
It hypothesized that the machine is designed to keep the entity contained, and that its release will cause a XK-Class End Of World scenario. As of ██/██/2010, no other personnel have observed or communicated the entity Hume Engineer J████ communicated with.
Addendum 1:
On ██/██/2005, researchers developed a device able to remotely measure Hume levels(meta note: maybe turn this into a camera and let the researchers see it? no idea why they'd assume it contains something from high levels). When used on SCP-XXXX, the device measured Hume levels within SCP-XXXX-2 measuring 5.41x1022 times background. Due to the extreme Hume levels, SCP-XXXX is confirmed to contain a Class-7 Extra-Universal Reality Bender.
Class re-assignment to Keter is pending.
