Special Containment Purpcure: MTF "Subrub Rangers" is to be in contact with police stations located in possible SCP XXXX manifestation areas. If possible, Foundation personnel disguised as police are to montier SCP XXXX until the entity demanifests, managing interactions of the public and preventing violent encounters when possible. If SCP XXXX manifests without staff reaching the location, a cover story of a homeless man is to be disseminated, and any connection to other SCP XXXX manifests discredited not connected.
Capture and long term containment are not possible due to SCP XXXX's nature.
Description: SCP XXXX is a humanoid figure wearing makeshift armor, and a midevil knight helmet, which is always in pristine condition, regardless of the entity's encounters. The armor is an assortment of sports gear and a leather jacket, with some mail armor attached, or crudely formed plate armor, made of scrap armor. Any metal comportments of SCP XXXX's armor are usually in poor condition with rust, dents or mud marring the surface. each manifestation of SCP XXXX may vary in its metal components, having either all mail, plate or some kind of combination of the two, with the helmet being the constant.
The entity is armed with a 45 centimeter machete, with accompanying cloth sheath. The blade is always in good condition and SCP XXXX has been sighted caring for the blade with sharping stones, oils and some steel wool. No one has been able to remove anything from SCP XXXX's person or confirm SCP XXXX is, in fact, a living being. its been theorize that a possible memetic effect is at play here, but hasn't been confirmed as of now.
SCP XXXX manifests in suburbian areas of North American. To date no such video of this event has been captured. SCP XXXX will wonder the residential areas, asking directions to points of interest, such as parks, stores or public transportation. If SCP XXXX is in the area of a person commiting a crime, SCP XXXX will attempt to force the person to cease their actions. however, SCP XXXX will not use physical force or draw their machete on non violent offenses such as jaywalking, petty theif or minor unarmed conflicts. more serious crimes, SCP XXXX will draw their weapon and attempt to gain control over the person. if the person does not compile, the entity will strike the person with the flat of their blade or a downward strike with the bottom of the handle. typically SCP does not kill such persons, but if they do not stop their actions or attempt to attack SCP XXXX, they will be meant with lethal force. despite its appearances, the armor SCP XXXX wears does not break, at least the nonmetal components, preventing any view of SCP XXXX's body. after the conflict, SCP XXXX will wipe and clean their machete and exit the area with little haste. typically local law enforcement have little problem finding SCP XXXX and arrests them, however, as stated before, no item can be removed from SCP XXXX's person, so they are usually put in a cell by themselves until they demanifest. this is also not caputred on video, due to camera failure.
SCP XXXX does appear to time travel, with SCP XXXX displaying familiarity with agents not assigned to SCP XXXX, and sometimes showing signs of conflicts, years before they occurred. SCP XXXX does not know of major world events, and shows no interest in the world. The unpredictabity of SCP XXXX's manifestations and the unwillingness of the subject block any attempt to pass info through time.
