Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a containment cell measuring 3m x 3m x 3m made of standard steel-reinforced concrete. The kitchen appliances are to be made out of blast resistant polyurethane and braced with beams of industrial strength steel. A large and simple paper calendar is to be placed on the wall situated across from SCP-XXXX.

At least once per month, a clearly marked scheduled test should be written on this calendar at least three days prior for best behaviour. Any products made by or with SCP-XXXX must be written within the testing log, and the remaining portions -may be eaten pending results— must be incinerated.

Various cooking supplies can be stored with SCP-XXXX's containment cell at the discretion of Dr. Singh with an exact expiration date supplied for testing purposes. ABSOLUTELY NO MUSACEAE, OR THOSE WHO HAVE EATEN THEM WITHIN A WEEK'S TIME ARE TO BE ALLOWED WITHIN SCP-XXXX'S CONTAINMENT UNIT. See Addendum-XXXX-01 for details on newest cooking supply limitations. These appliances are to only be stocked with basic utensils, one (1) 1.5kg bag of generic brand all-purpose flour, one (1) 1kg bag of generic brand granulated sugar, and one (1) 1L container of generic brand 2% milk. Each cooking product should be kept within a sealed and waxed stainless steel container with the expiration date clearly marked on the sheet both outside the door to the cell and the sheet held within Dr. Singh's office.

Beyond testing, no other supplies should be brought within SCP-XXXX's containment cell without express written permission from both Dr. Singh and Dr. Khan. Any supplies not first accepted and certified will result in severe disciplinary action should offending Personnel survive.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a novelty electric kitchen oven and range coloured a bright shade of yellow with the distinct facial features of an Ateles geoffroyi around the control panel and the hands wrapped around the front directly adjacent to the glass viewing window. When turned on, the facial features light up and play a startup tone, followed by a female voice stating: "Welcome to your very own official Iron Monkey Cooking Challenge personal oven! Let's get cooking!" While the dials appear similar to any other electric oven of the same make, their settings have either improbable methods such as smoking, sous vide, and smelting, or improbable temperatures from 8,000K to 0.0001K.

Marked above the Method setting dial on the panel itself is a Marshall, Carter, and Dark emblem next to a currently unknown trademark featuring a smiling Gorilla gorilla in a chef's toque, with the letters IMCC underneath. Investigations into this trademark emblem are currently underway. Due to the circumstances the object was recovered, no other materials were available to discern the purpose or intent of the object itself beyond cooking.
