Description: SCP-XXXX is a hypothesized anomalous entity, concept, object, and/or phenomenon which is unable to perceive and/or understand concepts that are comprehended by entities other than itself. This anomalous effect is currently believed to be limited to specific ideas, most notably the state of entities, objects, concepts, and/or phenomenon and their relation to each other.¹

Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX and its containment, the following information concerning SCP-XXXX is considered to be definite, despite and because of the nature of SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties:

• SCP-XXXX is uncontainable and uncontained
• SCP-XXXX is malevolent
• SCP-XXXX is opposed to the Foundation's cause
• SCP-XXXX is omnipresent
• SCP-XXXX is omnipotent
• SCP-XXXX does not exist

It is unknown whether or not the contents of this document are fabricated in order to facilitate the anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX and utilization thereof.

This is my attempt at writing a puzzle scip, in the same vein as SCP-3942.

Idea explanation

A hypothesized phenomenon/entity which is anomalously attached to the concept of inverse antimemetics² in the fashion that it is only capable of understanding specific concepts which no human currently knows. Containment Procedures involve potential questions for hypothetical interviews are screened in advance and the screener given amnestics - this process applies to food as well, since nobody knows if it needs to eat or not and they don't want the entity to not know that the food it's given exists. For this reason, they say that they do know some things about the hypothesized anomalous entity, namely that it is the following:

• Intangible
• Uncontainable
• Malevolent
• Everything
• Some other things

In-universe, the Foundation may or may not be lying in the document. If they are lying, three possibilities exist - that it does exist, that it does not, or that it is in a state of superposition - one of which is known by the Foundation, two of which are known by the entity. If it exists, then the Foundation want it to know that it exists, so that it may give them information that nobody else knows. If it does not exist, then the Foundation does not want it not knowing that it doesn't exist - cogito ergo sum, it exists because someone knows that it doesn't.

If nobody knows that logic does not govern the rules of the universe,³ then it can retroactively exist, as it sincerely believes that logic doesn't work, and is capable of making that the universe's ruleset. This all works despite and because of the fact that none of the above makes a single lick of sense. Because logic does not govern the laws of the universe.

1. E.G. the concept of food would be unaffected by its anomalous properties. However, a meal presented to SCP-XXXX would trigger its anomalous properties, provided that any other entity is aware of the existence of the aforementioned meal.
