Description: SCP-XXXX is a result of multiple genetic mutations in the feral pigeon (Columba livia domestica) population in G██████ M█████████, UK. The number of genes affected and their locations in the genome are currently unknown. This abnormal diet has lead to multiple sightings of locked up bikes without wheels, bike locks without bikes, and bike tires around or hanging from the top of street lights. The proportion of individuals in the population that are instances of SCP-XXXX are currently unknown
This variation in the pigeon population was first brought to the Foundation's attention by Dr. Hawkins. Previous to SCP-XXXX, Dr. Hawkins was not aware of the Foundation's existence. He set up camera traps observing three bikes he'd chained up and left in the city center. Within a week, the wheels had been removed from two of the three bikes and the tires found on street lights nearby.
After two weeks, one camera was attacked by an instance of SCP-XXXX and eaten. Dr. Hawkins replaced the camera. After three weeks, all three bikes had been consumed, leaving the locks behind.
The Foundation saw that he had published this information online along with a post claiming he had captured the instance that had "eaten his [EXPLETIVE REMOVED] camera" and Dr. Hawkins was brought in to be questioned.
