Message:
Okay, I’m going to make this quick since my team and I are getting deployed in an hour. We were called in between missions to help with a raid on ██████, since it was reported that they had some pretty heavy firepower. We were deployed through use of a HALO jump and landed as members of Task Force ███████ were engaging the complex. We landed just inside the gates and began to make our way in. The reports of there being “Heavy firepower” were bullshit, and most of the people we ran into had shotguns or rifles. We ended up clearing the house in record time and we waited within the walls of the compound for our helicopter to arrive. Around twenty minuets into us waiting, we heard chatter on the radio of some of the clean up crew were falling over unconscious after putting on a pair of sunglasses they found on one of the guys we killed. My first thought was that it was some kind of cognohazard, and since we were the only team on site with barriers; we decided to go in. Not much resistance was put up, only a member of the cleanup crew effected by the glasses stumbling around into us. We didn’t have a containment box onsite, so we just stuck it in a box wooden box we found laying in the corner. After we heard the reports of what happened and we found out it only affected you if you put them on, so we ruled it out of being an imminent threat and just kept it in the box. It was ordered to be taken back to Site-██’s high value vault, and we were already heading back there for a layover to Site-19, so we ended up taking it back with us. After we landed, we just handed it off to some researchers and that was the end of it. Overall it was a weird situation, but we’ve seen weirder.
