Extradimensional Freeports

Three Portlands

Description: A city-state located in its own pocket universe, with connections to the Isle of Portland in the United Kingdom and the cities of Portland in Oregon and Maine, Three Portlands is the largest free port in North America. A haven for anartists, occultists, and parahumans, it has a population of at least 80,000. Foundation operations within the city are prevented or seriously limited by the Hoover Mandate of the United States government. Under the terms of this policy, the United States guarantees the city's independence and status as a Free Port, while assuming responsibility for its security and secrecy; execution of these duties falls to the UIU, which shares law enforcement jurisdiction with the local police.

Backdoor Soho

Description: Backdoor SoHo is a free port dedicated mostly to the artistic display of the anomalous. Similar to the SoHo in Manhattan, it houses multiple GOIs, including Ambrose Restaurants and Marshall, Carter & Dark. The topology and city layout are non-euclidean, meaning buildings and roads will often fold in on themselves or change in unexpected ways making the urban sprawl easy to get lost in if you don't have a guide. Policed to some degree by the UIU under the supervision of "Charlie The Doorman", an entity with control over the entrances and exits of the city.

Eurtec

Description: Eurtec is the prime technological metropolis in the west and an apple of the Global Occult Coalition's eye. Founded by the Servants of the Silicon Nornir in order to speed up the development of paratech for their own agenda. While relatively young, it has nonetheless established its presence in the anomalous world as an important global city and the primary European Free Port. However, it has also garnered an infamous reputation as a hotbed for paracrime that is barely dealt with.

La Rue Macabre

Description: La Rue Macabre is an anomalous Free Port accessible by taking a left (on foot) off of Decatur (next to Jackson Square) onto Morgan. Filled with the bizarre, the forgotten, the outcasts, and the shunned, La Rue Macabre is a place made for the dregs of anomalous society. It's a place to meet, to share stories, to drink away worries, maybe make a few bucks working odd jobs in the city, or if you're really strapped for cash, out in the swamp, and to conduct trade. Life is slower there, sweltering in the heat of the swamp.
