Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 25M X 25M x 5M steel and concrete container at all times. SCP-XXXX is only to be accessed by Level 2 Personnel or higher, unless otherwise authorized. Testing is only permitted with Class-D personnel. Cameras are always to be present inside the room to monitor. No air vents are permitted to flow in the room, due to wind being able to activate anomalous effects with SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is to be cleaned by warm cloth and motor oil every 72 hours. SCP-XXXX to be suspended by a 1 meter tall steel stand and contained in a steel lockbox. If a manifestation larger than 80 Men occur, refer to Addendum-01. Keep a minimum of four armed personnel outside of the containment cell at all times. Container is to be rigged with chloropicrin/sarin gas canisters with automatic cleansers. In the case of manifestations surviving, refer to Addendum-01.
Description: SCP-XXXX superficially appears to be a standard ██████ branded Trench whistle. Minor scuffs cover the surface of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is 7.2 CM in length and 2 CM in width. Any attempt to destroy the whistle is met with maximum manifestation. SCP-XXXX unable to be destroyed. When blown in, SCP-XXXX gives off a normal whistling noise. Whenever blown, anywhere between 3 Seconds and 3 Minutes after, manifestations known as SCP-XXXX-01 through -288 spawn within 20 meters of the whistle. These manifestations typically consist of British Trench Raid parties from the British ████████ Light Infantry Regiment. Consists of anywhere between one man to 288 men. There are instances where the American ███th Infantry Regiment, French ███ Batallion Cynophile, and German Assault Battalion ████ soldiers are integrated into the manifests.
The Whistle is able to manifest these soldiers outside of containment, if confined in too small an area for all of its manifestations to manifest. See Addendum-02

The assortment of weapons vary, as many of the manifestations commonly carry melee-only weapons. But rare occurrences and small amounts do show them using many of the above weapons. All of these weapons have all original markings of manufacturer and serial numbers. However, a SMLE series rifle exists in storage which shares a serial number with Researcher Djormund’s personal rifle collection. The copy shows no anomolous properties or difference between Djormund’s rifle other than the latter’s age.
The manifestations are able to be captured alive, and do not expire until terminated. See Interviews for such information. The manifestations are able to spawn without currents, and usually do so within 24 hours of the last manifest. All occurrences of this are to be terminated, then documented. Weapons and clothing are to be captured and documented. With this, manifestations multiply according to any active instances of SCP-XXXX-1/228 beforehand. See Addendum-03.
Manifestations are deadly, using interviews shows the manifestations are acting out of confusion, delirious behavior, and fear. Manifestations can appear with missing muscular tissue, eyes, hair, fingers, feet, and occasionally, whole limbs. This does not seem to affect their performance.

Addendum:
Addendum-01: When a force larger than 80 men spawn due to anomalous effects, Beta-3 and ARRTF Xi-13 are to contain through excessive force. Manifestations equipped with gas masks are also to be handled directly by both task forces, and any on-site security personnel. Recent additions make targets easier to terminate.
Addendum-02: On 27/05/20██, 08/11/201█, 13/09/2015, and ██/11/2016 SCP-XXXX's containment cell was revised due to separate containment breaches. Event details:
Event 1: 27/05/20██: SCP-XXXX was given a standard 5M x 5M x 5M containment cell with circulated air vents and steel/concrete walls. █ years after containment, SCP-XXXX manifested a 6█ troop from the American ███th and British ████████'s, causing containment breach. 3 on-site casualties, 2█ injured.
Event 2: 08/11/201█: SCP-XXXX was given a 10M X 10M x 5M containment cell with air vents and same composition. Three years after initial revision, a force of 164 manifestations from the British ████████, French ███, and German ████ Battalion. Half the force [82] manifested outside of the cell, and immediately killed outside guards, then released inside forces with no casualties on SCP's end. Resulted in ██ killed foundation personnel, and 7█ injured personnel.
Event 3: 13/09/2015: SCP-XXXX was given a 20M x 20M x 5M containment cell. No longer were air vents added to item. O5 Personnel approved destruction by melting due to lost personnel in earlier instances, and potential danger. On melting, whistle immediately manifested 288 Troops from all known regiments, and immediately multiplied to ███ troops in nearby areas, inside the room, and hallways. Whistle remained unharmed. ███ Foundation personnel were killed, and ███ were injured in this event. 8 Soldiers were captured from this event for questioning, two from each Regiment. Event 4: ██/05/2016: Addendum-01 was put in place to safeguard SCP Facility [██]. Random manifestation occurred and 192 manifests appeared. Immediate protocols were followed, sarin gassing, fast responses with both task forces were applied. Situation handled with only 1 casualty, 15 injured. Current security measures are in place.
Addendum-03: During the unsuccessful destruction of SCP-XXXX, it was discovered that its anomalous properties including multiplying the original amount of manifestations by at least a factor of 3. It is inconclusive on whether or not this is able to go higher. Pending O5 Approval for further testing.
Addendum-04: 22/03/2006. SCP-XXXX came to the Foundation's attention during an event in Vienna, France, when a First World War LARPing session was reportedly interrupted when one LARPer blew a antique Trench Raid whistle to signal the start of a "Trench Raid." Resulting in the manifestation of ██ British ████████ Troops. According to police reports, 28 resulted dead from the LARPers, and 126 were injured, 50 of which were later recorded dead from their injuries, and 23 were permanently disabled. The Foundation's inside agents of France's government immediately notified agents within that area to move and capture the piece.
Event 1: 23/03/2006. The first encounter with SCP-XXXX proved perilous. Both agents perished from excessive gunshot wounds, fractures, cuts, breaks, and a plethora of other injuries. Recorded ██ British ███████ Soldiers were present and 7 American ███th Soldiers.
Event 2: 25/03/2006. The second containment event SCP-XXXX was successful. Knowing the severity of the situation, task forces Xi-13 and Beta-3 were sent in. Mission succeeded with recorded total of ███ Soldiers Manifested and only 3 Injuries from Task Force Xi-13 and 4 from Beta-3. Class-A Amnesiacs were administered to the living victims of the event.
