SCP-5565

I think that whenever an MTF is used in an SCP article, there should be certain Ranks assigned to each member.

I think it would be good idea because it would allow people to add more depth into there articles in terms of its informational potential.

So without further ado, here is my MTF Ranking System.

MTF Ranking System

MTF Ranks:

Rank-0: Rookie:

Potential Promotions: Rank-I, Rank-1, Rank-2, Rank-3

Demotion: N/A

Description: This is the ranking given to new members who have passed their MTF Application forum, but have not yet completed a mission yet.

Depending on how their first mission goes, they will be promoted to either Rank-1, Rank-2, or Rank-3. If their score on the MTF Application forum test is high enough, they will instead be immediately promoted to a special rank named Rank-I: Immediate Scout.

Rank-0 personnel have no authority to alter or overwrite Officer commands, regardless of the how high the Officer's rank is OR how questionable or irrational their command's are.

Rank-1: Scout:

Potential Promotions: Rank-2 (For both Rank-1 and Rank-I)

Demotion: N/A

Description: This rank is given to members of their MTF that did poorly on their first mission. Rank-1 personnel are unskilled and expendable, and assigned to un-important missions were death is very likely. Rank-I personnel, however, have the same authority as Rank-1 personnel.

At least two Rank-1 or Rank-I personnel have the authority to alter or overwrite Rank-2 Officer commands, provided that the commands of the Officer are questionable or irrational. At least three Rank-1 personnel are required to alter or overwrite the command of a Rank-3 Officer.

Rank-2: Agent:

Potential Promotions: Rank-3

Demotion: Rank-1

Description: This rank is given to members of their MTF that did adequately on their first mission. Rank-2 personnel are quite skilled and of some importance to their assigned MTF, and assigned to semi-important missions were death is a possibility.

Rank-2 personnel have the authority to alter or overwrite Rank-3 Officer commands, provided that the commands of the Officer are questionable or irrational.

Rank-3: Sargent:

Potential Promotions: Rank-4, Rank-5

Demotion: Rank-2

Description: This rank is given to members of their MTF that did very well on their first mission, and had an averagely impressive success rate on the rest of their missions. Rank-3 personnel are very skilled and of great importance to their assigned MTF, and assigned to very important missions were death a small possibility.

Rank-4: Commander:

Potential Promotions: Rank-5

Demotion: Rank-3

Description: This rank is given to members of their MTF that did very well on their first mission, and had an greatly impressive success rate on the rest of their missions. Rank-4 personnel are extremely skilled and of immense importance to their assigned MTF, and assigned to extremely important missions were death a small possibility.

Rank-4 Officer commands can only be altered or overwritten if all remaining personnel on the mission, with the exception of Rank-0 personnel, agree that the Officer's commands are questionable or irrational.

Rank-5: High Commander:

Potential Promotions: N/A

Demotion: Rank-4

Description: This rank is given to the very best of the best. On average there is only 3 Rank-5 personnel per MTF. Rank-5 personnel have extreme knowledge and skill in the field, and out. They are usually placed away from danger communicating via radio, unless they specifically request that they "get there hands dirty".

Rank-5 Officer commands can not be altered or overwritten by anyone, regardless of whether their commands are questionable or irrational, but members of the O5 council.

Rank Designations:

During a mission, Designation's are given to different personnel depending on what their purpose in the mission is. Personnel can be given multiple designations at once.

Name: Officer

Description: The rank designation Officer is given to the highest ranking MTF personnel on any given mission. There can be more than one Officer on any given mission. Officer's are the ones that give out all the orders in a mission.

For example, if their was a mission with three Rank-3 personnel and two Rank-4 personnel, those two Rank-4 personnel would be the Officer's of the mission.

Name: Technician

Description: The rank designation Technician is given to personnel on a mission who assist in the technical side of things, or pilot a vehicle that the task force is using.

For example, the pilot of the helicopter in Incident 096-1-A would be designated as a Technician.

Name: Explorer

Description: The rank designation Explorer is given to personnel assigned to search or survey an area for anomalies or hostiles.

For example, personnel assigned with searching for an SCP that has breached containment, they would be designated as an Explorer.

Name: Raider

Description: The rank designation Raider is given to personnel assigned with instructions to attack a target, or who have been equipped with weaponry in the event that they must use it.

For example, if personnel were assigned with instructions to find and kill an SCP that is to be terminated as soon as possible, they would be designated Raider.

If you see any spelling or grammar mistakes, feel free to point it out.

But mainly, I what to know what you all think of it.
