Description:
SCP-XXXX-A has the appearance of a 1.9 meter tall, clear-skinned human of ambiguous race and sex. They exhibit an alien sense of morality but will answer direct questions truthfully when asked. SCP-XXXX-A claims that they are not a human, but takes offense to further questioning about its identity, species, or age. SCP-XXXX-A exhibits an abrasive personality but shows no signs of physical aggression.
They are able to leave their realm for short periods of time, but they choose to remain unseen. They have the ability to slip through cracks and shadows like a cat.

SCP-XXXX operates by manifesting a doorway, hall, or path (known from here as the “portal”) typically in brick/wood buildings built between the mid 19th and 20th centuries. Door blends into existing architecture, as does the area beyond the door. The doorway cannot manifest or demanifest while observed. After SCP-XXXX manifests a portal, they will attempt to coax a particular target (designated as SCP-XXXX-1) through the portal and offer them food. SCP-XXXX will use multiple tactics to convince the target to eat their food, including verbal pleas, promises of gifts, and theft of property. SCP-XXXX will not use physical force. SCP-XXXX exhibits proficiency in technology and internet literacy, even directly after manifestation.
If the target does not eat the food, they may leave freely, but SCP-XXXX will continue its advances. If the target eats the food, the door will close and become unopenable. Upon break of eye contact, the door will disappear. Between █ and ██ years later, SCP-XXXX-1 will reappear nearby, xpressing confusion and an abnormally distressed emotional state. Descriptions of the area beyond the door are varied, and subjects express a reluctance to elaborate when pressed. They describe being doted on, fed, played with like a pet.
Interviews indicate that that SCP-XXXX-1 are taken into a pocket dimension.
No consistent pattern for person chosen as target, but often attractive or talented, and are generally between the ages of 12 and 35, although ████████ was determined to be 43 at the time of his disappearance.
Later recordings fitted with high-iron glass (color-corrected to remove green) reveals that the world beyond is fractalled and shifting, similar to DeepDream.

SCP-XXXX exhibits no intention to harm targets, but they may emerge with injuries typcal of malnutrition, exhaustion, and emotional stress. We deliver Class-D amnestics when appropriate. More recent of SCP-XXXX have been noted, as on ██/██/████, three weeks after SCP-XXXX-A’s capture. Research is being conducted into predicting and preventing SCP-XXXX events.
