Special Containment Procedures: SCP-197 is to be left undisturbed in it's room under regular protocol. It is imperative that SCP-197 is to be let out of containment regularly and allowed access to SCP-197-A to recess it's regular schedule. SCP-197 is to be heavily monitored during this time by security. The exact times of these recesses are to be determined by SCP-197-1. SCP-197-1 is also responsible for entering SCP-197's containment and physically abusing it approximately once a day.

SCP-197 should avoid contact with SCP-197-2 in order to keep it stable. SCP-197-2 will occasionally be the unit tasked with the physical abuse normally reserved for SCP-197-1, but SCP-197 reacts much more extremely in these cases and the situation should be avoided if possible. SCP-197-2 is also kinda just a piece of shit so in order to protect as many security personnel as possible as little contact should be made with it as possible.

Description: SCP-197 is a humanoid entity approximately 182 cm tall resembling that of a 15 year old male with unnaturally pale skin and curly hair. It has a rather scrawny figure, but it will try to tell you otherwise.

SCP-197 can normally be found on it's computer normally playing video games, watching YouTube videos, or masturbating. SCP-197 is also allowed access to a Virtual Reality headset, and can be seen playing video games with this headset. The entity occasionally plays with other's online or livestreams it's gameplay to a sorry audience of around 2-5 people.

SCP-197 has been reported in the past to make various strange and mysterious noises and facial expressions. The root of these is unclear, but is currently being researched by staff.

CASE 1

RECORDED 11/6/18

An image of SCP-197 recorded on November 6, 2018 by Twitch.tv user ███████ during one of it's livestreams. At the time, the specimen was playing the video game Brawlhalla (though the livestream states it was playing Kingsway) in an online match. He won his match, and followed it up with the facial expression seen on the right. It appears to be a reaction to what he did in-game, but it has long been suspected that this was an intentional cover-up and the expression has another undetected purpose. It is believed that the expression enhances the positivity-depleting effect caused by contact of any form with SCP-197.

CASE 2

RECORDED 11/12/18

An image of SCP-197 recorded on November 12, 2018 by Twitch.tv user ███████ during one of it's livestreams. At the time, the specimen was playing the video game Just Get Over It (though the livestream states it was playing Just Chatting). This image has a similar story to Case-1, with it being suspected that SCP-197 tried to cover it up as a reaction to the video game, while it's intended effects go unnoticed. The effects are thought to be similar to that of Case 1 as well.

CASE 3

RECORDED ██/██/19

An image of SCP-197 recorded on ████████ ██, 2019 by Mr. Garett ████████. The actions of the specimen at the time of the image capturing is unknown, as is the purpose behind it. It can be deduced that SCP-197 is not playing video games. This event is thought to have taken place in order for SCP-197 to lower the overall mental fortitude of the unknown victims. Mr. Garett ████████ is a known victim of SCP-197, and has clear effects from contact with it, including almost nonexistent mental fortitude and a constant depressive state.

SCP-197 has been reported to have the ability to remove any positive emotion from humans it interacts with, leaving them a husk of their former selves. There have been multiple reports of this, but the source of it is once again unknown, and is being researched.

Addendum: SCP-197-1
SCP-197-1 is the mother of SCP-197. It plays an extremely important role in the containment and stabilization of SCP-197.

Addendum: SCP-197-2
SCP-197-2 is the brother of SCP-197. It does not play an important role in anything in fact, and is normally just a general annoyance.

Addendum: SCP-197-A
SCP-197-A is a Razor Ripstik™ owned by SCP-197 and used often to help stabilize it and help it stay calm when out of containment.
